Absolutely wonderful experience with this era of Cadillac Deville. Very solid cars. Brake systems. And Ac can have issues but can easily be fixed before issues get out of hand. For a large car, more fuel efficient than the big suvs and large rear wheel drive Cadillacs.
my grandad had one back in1991 when they first came out clean caddy brown top and champagne paint wine color all chromed out I miss that car and grandad rip papa love u
So cool, you can’t just buy cars like this. Tuned-up, detailed up, like a Time Machine back to the day it rolled off the showroom floor. I enjoy that process myself. Great work. Look forward to future videos.
I'm in central Alberta, it had 168k on it, I'm the 3rd owner, 93 caddy deville. paid only $1100.00 for it, runs like a dream. I put less than 5k on it a year. now has 193k on it. mine has the digital dash. my radio does the same thing.
I had a '91 14 yrs ago. The computer for dash lights went crazy, dash looked like a UFO at night, lights blinking all crazy. Another was installed, not much difference. Was told by a Cadillac man, these '91's were somewhat trouble-prone til '93, when MOST of the bugs were "worked out." But can't beat rear leg room, plenty there! 😉 So I switched to a '96 Fleetwood, same color as this one. Now, THAT'S a Beauty! 😃 And I like this Caddy, too...but once bitten..😔 In fact, I think I will buy another Fleetwood later this year, not sure what year I want yet...🤔
Thirty years ago, retiring after a successful career and buying a Caddy or a Lincoln was every middle-class American's dream. Minty '80s and '90s Cadillacs like this one are tangible evidence of a long standing, pre-Boomer social trend which has since disappeared.
I had theis EXACT car, same year, same options but mine was Cadillac white. I loved it. It was not great with fuel. Premium only and equal to fuel economy of a full size SUV like a Chevy Tahoe. But tons of power.
Mine has the same exact bump at idle I think it's just from sitting I'm going to keep running some injection cleaner through it every tank it's getting better as I go
Keep an eye on it the injectors get funky every once in a while. Mine hit 100k recently and had that, it went away, lost some cylinders and needed some tinkering, easy enough. Runs like a dream again.
I have a white and gray 1992 with the same exact wheels. My car just turned over 53,500 original miles. And I hate the rims that are on it. Red leather interior
I like the style before those 90 89 87 88 those are the cars for me big difference inside and out side the counls the seats the grill big difference I'll take those before that

I rented bunches of these on business trips back then. Great road cars and comfy. Loved the big trunk, too!

R134 work just fine. I’ve used it in my 89 Mustang, 92 Explorer and and 88 Caravan.
