This is really a nice bike I was wanting to buy one next spring but I did not know this was a limited edition bikes but I heard they have a automatic goldwing but I didn't want one that large for my first bike. Bobby
I just got a cbr300 but I was very curious about this bike when I saw it on the Honda website. I think I read they will make a limited amount. I really like the look of this bike. If Honda would make this about 2k cheaper and possibly make it manual transmission I might get one of these
Thanks for posting this! I've been looking at this bike for a while. Does it ride more like a sports bike or a cruiser? I'm afraid it might feel underpowered. I ride a Vstar 1100... Can you make a video riding it?
I ride a CBR500R for daily commute to work, and I would say the NM4 is miles better for high speed cruising. The seat is very low and the feet-forward position makes it more of a cruiser. I haven't had much experiences with larger cruisers so I can't really compare how it handles or the power. However, since the engine is mounted low down and it's relatively light-weight, left right transition is very quick for a bike like this and the weight just sort of disappears once you start moving. Just think of how Batman rides the Batpod in "The Dark Knight" lol As for the engine, it's actually the same unit you'll find on the NC700X and CTX700 models, couple with the DCT gear box in S-mode, blasting off at stop lights is pretty awesome since it has plenty of torque down low and it upshifts so quickly. This bike will cruise at 80 with little effort and minimal vibration. There were a couple times that I felt like I was going pretty slowly but I was actually way beyond the speed limit when I looked down at the speedo lol I would say this bike has plenty of power for a regular commuter unless you plan to do 0-60 in like 3 seconds or cruise at speeds over 100. This bike is really rare so if you want to get a feel of what it's like to ride, I suggest taking a CTX700 with the DCT box for a test ride and the experience will be very similar. And I'll make an onboard video as soon as I get some free time.
WanderAbroad My 106ci disagrees with your idiotic statement... You wanna ride a bitch bike, by all means feel free... The rest of us will just fly by you on the highway...
ivanbb91126,U sed the 'chrome' exhaust dunzt work for U,but for me it's the ridiculous "chain drive" system. In all its seeming sophistication, they had of all things put-in chain drive. If any of the 3 types, belt (like those on Harleys) wud even be much better than this,Sshish, watta let down.
To some, there are more primary reasons for buying a bike other than gas economy. Some prefer the outdoor feel of motorcycling and simply choose to ride on two wheels rather than four. Also, bikes can maneuver in places where cars can't. Those, for many, are common sense enough reasons.
I really like this bike but the storage compartment sizes are too small & a few more other things you pointed out . I gotta test ride it & make up my mind!
Very cool bike. Never saw this before. Looks slightly similar to the CTX1300 but sleeker. Wish the engine were bigger. Woops, just saw the floorboards. That's a negative for me. I don't like having my lean limited and dragging the ground.
Great bike, nice bike this unusual one truly is,but just a thought on the wild side, could it be better if it had instead twin-wheels at the front, like those what can be found on Italian scooters 'Quadro' or maybe even twin live wheels, also like the ones from Quadro's stable.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this really just a CTX700N that Honda's thrown some small hard-cases and interesting fairings onto and charged you an extra $3000 to do so?
If you take a CTX700 DCT ABS and add the Honda optional saddlebags and 12V accessory socket it'll come out to be around $9,500. And remember the NM4 has all LED lightings. The total cost of a loaded CTX700 will come out to be around the same as the limited edition NM4.
Yamaha installed precisely same gage tech in Morphous (USA) Maxam (JN) maxiscooter. Not sure there is anything you can do about it. I think it is either a counter-efficiency ploy or it has something to do with smaller tanks. Maybe all the big four have identical fuel gages. It might be to get you to trade in for a bigger bike some day, a kind of slight. Or, scooter riders are too stupid to keep an eye on the gage. I am.
Damn! I was hoping this was a real motorcycle with a clutch and inline 4-cylinder engine. I really like the styling, but I'm not so much a fan of parallel twin engines.
this bike is incomplete i thought i like it, there are some things i'm not sure about like the handle bars and grips throttle front end split, and wind deflector , instrument paneling light and theirs no covering their as well .
I got a ctx 700 dct same thing and I ll say they aren’t a race bikes mine does 0to 60 in 5 secs if y’all want more just get a sport bike this are not intended to be like that it’s just cruiser to enjoy the ride I go long distances on mine and I love it 64 mpg with saddle bags tall windshield floor boards sissy bar and extra básquet in rear , 13000 mi on it zero issues, only thing take care of chain clean and lube it that’s it does 115 mi top speed I don’t need more than that I outrun most cars on any situation if I want to
I like the backseat as a driver backrest idea. Sadly only a 750. Wonder if the 2017 version has the same sewing machine sound? Not really worth the $14,900 CAD for the base model tho IMHO ..
Hello my friend. Can I use a portion of this video for my channel? I will create a video about NM4. I will link your channel and this video link to the description so my viewers can check your videos as well.
congrats....this is very nice.. Only gripe is it is not belt driven.. I can just imagine how much of a bitch it is to maintain... I can't imagine going to the dealer every time I need the back wheel adjusted...or did Honda find a snazzy way to address this?
Man I will keep my bmw scooter!! I thought this bike had 750cc !! My scooter has good lean angles, 4 gallon tank adjustable windscreen, way bigger storage , top speed 112 , bout 6.5 / 0-60.. I'm looking for something to replace my ninja 1000 but I want it to atleast go 130mph top speed with 5secs 0-60 storage and more torwards sports touring because I like good handling , with DCT technology
The fuel gauages always pessimistic and u have more fuel than the gauage appears to say. Honda and Toyota are always like this. If u run out of fuel in either your a fool. Use the trip meter. Workout mpg and then from there ur range ur range. It’s not that hard dude? My Honda will ride on empty for ages. But I fill it up when the range meter says less than 100km to go. When u have done 120 miles ( 2days as u say) how much fuel are u putting in. Once u know that and how big the tank is, yadda yadda bing..👍
it's to much cheap black plastic al over this bike, and specialy at the front. But i do like the laid back seating position with that back rest, so this could be a great bike when they would fix the design, because it's looks like a garbage bin.
The world also considered itself flat and thought pluto was a planet. have you ever thought for yourself? no one can be as much of a tool as you seem to be.
DREDD had one of these but his was faster. While there are many motorcycles the Japanese won't bring to the US and buyers are begging them brought here - Honda is trying to put themselves out of business by bringing motorcycles over here no one wants.
This bike is so different , I love it !
It looks like a motorcycle straight out from Akira.
Thank you for sharing your observations!
This is really a nice bike I was wanting to buy one next spring but I did not know this was a limited edition bikes but I heard they have a automatic goldwing but I didn't want one that large for my first bike. Bobby
There is a software upgrade to fix the misreading fuel tank. If you havent done it yet
Jeff Volz Really? Even my local Honda shop wasn't aware of that
This is AWESOME and I can't believe it's 9 years old. It looks NEW 2025.

Holy smokes does it have a laser cannon?
Is this on special order only? It seems the dealers around me don't stock them.
This bike is the Bat Mobile of motorcycles, this thing is BEAST
This is the coolest bike ever built

Eric X have your test ride this bike ? What do u think ?
I love this bike design, so fresh and rides very smooth.👍
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
💎💎💎💎💎
actually that bike is a Dual clutch, automatic solenoid shifter. No clutch lever, or shift lever
Nice real world review.

how is wind protection on this bike?
Is this bike high maintenance ?

Heard it was based of akira.. I think it would look better in matte white, but that's just me, it will look however I want when I get my hands on one.
Did I miss the part about the seat ?
Great video! Thanks for posting
Do you think a 240/45-17 will fit the back with no mods? And can the stock baffle be removed from exhaust?
Hey friend I thank that's one cool bike I hope you enjoy it 😆 and have a bless day enjoy 😄😎😁😀😇
You would love that D model

That along with being a second edition/ revamped dn-01
And a built-in back rest.
What's NM4 stand for? No Muff 4ever?
an automatic bike?
then what's mpg in the city?
Kaneda! Tetsuo! Kaneda! Tetsuo!
this is not the batbike ..... this is judge dredd bike !!
I love this bike I want one
I would have thought the 4 will be 4 stroke
it is four stroke but its not 4 inline. its parallel twin four stroke and its not really 2 stroke either
Quite heavy at 225kg?
Nice review.

Power socket ?
So cool
I'd trade a kidney for this bike I really would...... And I don't even ride.

Wow must feel like you're in the movie Akira :P
I just really wish they made some real rideable ones :d

Hey if you ever put it up for sale in interested!
how much in US?
Look it up
Not 670cc. It's 745cc engine, at least in Europe.
US models come with the 670cc engine
Big bike, auto tranny, small enginen small fuel tank, single rotor front break.🤔 Seems like something missing... Looks great though. Like the exhaust.
Bring back the pacific coast with a liter class V4.
Great review.. weird bike.
aka the batmotocycle
外国じゃあ、「スピロメラー」って発音するんですね。
Nice voice
Paint this red.

thats is sexy We to have a 500R. lovely bike
Darth wader's bike.. it looks cool and soo different.. but its expensive and max speeed isn't impressive.. for example Gilera nexus 500 goes 120 mph..
Нихрена не понял но мотик прикольный
Did anyone notice this guy can't pronounce the word "side"?

I see a lot more to dislike about this bike than to like. For me. I'd ride it though. Lol
Nice review sir.
Mmmmm batman
Geil 👍🛵
Братан да ты говори по русски не стесняйся..
I have one is like toy
this is even uglier than the elite- however, it is form following function, which is the eye of the beholder.
id rather have a Chinese moped tbh
English isn't a european language.
+Drew Thompson Yet people of the United Kingdom and the world consider it Europe. You ever go to school? No one can be this dumb.
The world also considered itself flat and thought pluto was a planet. have you ever thought for yourself? no one can be as much of a tool as you seem to be.
+Drew Thompson enjoy that Crack you're smoking.
Sid Hemphill You're wrong dude.

Not impressed.
What was Honda's goal here? To make the ugliest motorcycle ever? Good God, Honda!! That thing is hideous!!
The back looks good. The front is hideous.
Phil Harris I think its a beautiful bike
Joe Prett Well, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose. LOL
Am I the only one who thinks the front looks stupid?
