Hawkes! You are so close to the best trade route in SC. I really don't want to say this, but fuck it. Benzdeck/Lathan, Laranite and the rest Titanium.. BUT, instead of flying and selling and danger. B-line to New Babbage ground port. I timed it. It is a solid 150k every 20mins. And nobody seems to do it. You saw nothing... *ninja smoke*
The challenge for traders is that if you own a C2 it can feel like this is the only ‘viable’ trade route after a while. I did a wider variety of runs but I’m hoping things get more dynamic or varied in the future. Great video. I didn’t know scrap selling was back
The routes aren't hard to find. The actual material to buy so you can trade it, however, is basically mythical because everyone goes looking for it and inventory is global. But hey pirates? The big ships are hauling from Arial to Hurston, or from Wela in ArcCorp to ArcCorp. Show up with an interdictor and cash in.
I've been doing the Lathan and bezdek runs to Lorville since 2.12. I didn't know about Orinth station I also know of a trade route that goes from one Moon that I'm not going to mention an Arc corp t over to Port olsar, then to another moon in that system, back to Walla in Arc corp, sell in Tdd of area 18 and rinse an repeat. Because the trade route is so vast, it allows the resources to a proper amount of time to respawn.
40k runs mixed laranite/titanium in a taurus (174scu).... nah, going back into my prospector! in a huge ship it may make sense but nothing better than qant mining in SC right now :) 4 rocks means a million auec after refinery for me - equal to 25 of those annyoing hurston cargo runs - nah, no sir, thx
I lost a load simular almost at the sell terminal. I was I should be okay I was landed already. Nope ship needed to be claimed. Basically 5 loads of profits right down the drain.
@@HawkesGaming it was even even worse than that when I wanted to move my most valuable loot from Lorville to Everus and after a server crash found out I had to claim the ship :(
I can see a lot of pirates are gonna swarm close to this one - BTW NPC's can and will attack your ship if your not in it had it happen to me 2x this patch
Buy Astatine from SMO-22 on Microtech and sell at TDD at New Babbage. Sell quickly by landing outside the ground vehicle garage at the Commons so you dont have to take the train from the spaceport.
1. Reclamation & Disposal Orinth was the only place to sell drugs, and since drugs got munted because of server synced economy and super low purchase quantities, drugs aren't viable and no one goes there. It used to be a great place. 2. You would have been able to sell the cargo from your C2 when you had a crash, if you were already in the hangar. You shouldn't have claimed. 3. A C2 can kill those bounties easy. 4. Nice little tid bit. 5. If you land decoupled, you don't smash your face into the ground.

It’s funny that more people don’t know about the reclamation site. I’ve been selling aulritoxin there, But I didn’t know you could sell titanium there as well. Thanks for the tip!
Did you explain the part where everyone and their mother is buying Laranite and Titanium and the chances of getting that much of either right now is almost impossible?
I got jipped trying this out (game bug). Went to Bez bought the inventory, tried to board my ship after purchase and couldn't get back into my ship. Went to log out and log back in...inventory...money..gone. It was the last of what I had too. 600k gone.
@@HawkesGaming no not the trading. I couldn't get back into my ship. It was doing that uninitialized bit. I tried again later and was fine just miffed at that massive loss. Great video by the way!
Suuuuuuure as if there is ever any nice Laranite stock bro. And Titanium works only because nobody plays 3.17.2 because 3.18 will be next wipe. So friends enjoy it for now till 3.18 drops.

I feel like you REALLY need to do a video that show this with a starter ship.. the Hercules C2 is either 5 MILLION in game currency or $520 dollars out of pocket.. if you have done either of those things you likely do not need these videos lol.. Those people with Cutlass Blacks, Auroras and Mustangs need to see how they can start trading.. lol. I mean if you have a C2 you've done it.. you won.. game over man.. still love your vid and gave ya a like
You dont do trading in a starter ship man. I have all kinds of other videos on what to do in a starter ship.. Doing what I did in my last best start starting from an auoroa to c2 in 2 days...

Do you land a c2 at NB. I did this with smaller ships but not the C2

Spent Sunday trading. Lost a load of Laranite and Titanium to a game crash. Netted +$50K from several hours due to that one lost load.

Ita. (either outpost) - Lorville. Buy Astatine. 120k per run in a C2. Single stop. Rinse and repeat there's lots of Astatine on Ita.
You can also go to Port Olisar to sell astatine to avoid the train ride. If you have the TS-2 qt drive it's pretty quick.

Dude, you have to show the route to the correct terminals in Loriville. The admin office doesn't work.
Any suggestions for upgrades to the C2 to make this more efficient? Fastest quantum drive? Worth getting better shields?

Maybe cargo refoactor will chage everything about trading? Probably not but there is always hope.
