I'll be honest, I came for the Kuwabara thumbnail
That first game was stressful to watch. Just enough lifegain to survive the attacking Swiftspear. Also, I don't think Crim knows Cemetery Gatekeeper has First Strike.
Crim being surprised at winning g1 outlines the power of lightning helix in the aggro mirror. Healing salve and lightning bolts are both spells that you would love to cast in that context, and having them both+potentially having more in the deck due to heartflame is gonna make monored your best matchup. You need to draw REALLY bad to lose this one.
Heartflame, End tje festivities, Heliod, Resplendent Angel, Angel of Unity, Helix, Bishop is my strongest historic deck. Currently 24-8 in mythic

I have a historic deck that is currently 24-8 in mythic that is aggro Angels, it runs Heartflame, End the Festivities, Lightning Helix, Aurelia Warleader, Angel of Unity, Bishop of Wings, Resplendent Angel, Heliod. The deck is CRAZY strong
Every single time I exile a card with Chandra, it's a mountain. Every. time. lol

Great video always love your guy's content! Would love to see a video using persuasive interrogators as a finisher in a standard deck. I use bartolomé del presidio as my free sacrifice outlet and play an esper control type of build. Spending the early turns amassing clues and surviving the early game to set up for an out of nowhere kill by poison with your clues! Other good includes are the new Homicide investigator and case of the filched falcon both help get clues and the case provides a good blocker or beater as an alternative win.

I like the fact that it is called Boros Burn, but at some points crim plays this like Boros control
over half his games were against mono-red. In that match-up he _is_ the control player. The red deck is more aggressive but Crim has lifegain so he wins the long game!

Can someone explain why on earth the monastery swiftspear gets exiled instead of destroyed at 2:49? I've been staring at the screen for 5 minutes and i can't figure it out.
Actually scratch that, all the opponent's destroyed monsters seem to be getting exiled, i'm so confused...

@@necrolapin Wow, I even play kumano in my mono red deck on arena, so that was about the only card I didn't look up for some reason, I was sure that the transformed creature was just a 2/2 haste with no other abilities. Thanks!

Hindsight is 20/20, he didn't know that his opponent had a second, let alone a third. He was expecting a sweeper.
