As far as getting your Egypt Tourism on, there's a mode you can select from the menu that lets you free roam the game world with no enemies and with hundreds of short lectures available from Egyptologists on pretty much every single historical thing in the game. They did the same for AC Odyssey and Valhalla as well.
However poorly people might see these RPG games, the tourism mode is so great. AC has always been about historical times but a whole mode dedicated to learning? That's a HUGE plus in my books
@@ghostdude9415 But Valhalla is different than Origins and Odyssey. I only just liked it in Valhalla to be honest. But wasn't as fascinated as I was with Origins and Odyssey.

One of the best AC games there is. Bayek is a very likable protagonist. The combat is quite difficult if you're not used to it, but it's worth mastering. The key to mastering the combat system is "timing" and "distance".
OMFGGGGG this is the one i've been waiting for! My favorite in the franchise, love the setting, story, characters, music, the overhauled combat, even the education mode was really cool. I was hooked on Bayek as a protagonist from the opening cutscene! (which no, it's not just you, he's hot XD). I would even put this game in my Top 5 games of all time.

Bayek and Senu's bond are extremely strong, i haven't watched super far yet but when you saw senu fly back down to you when you stand still long enough they interact if you keep standing there, like little scratches and such, chirps at bayek but there's one you missed then and idk if you ever saw it again, but senu looks over bayeks shoulder and bayek then looks as well and it's awesome, easily my favorite tiny details because their bond is so good that if senu thinks something is up bayek immediately pays attention as well and i love that about them
Admittedly I haven't played every single AC game as there are a lot, but I've played quite a few and this is one of my absolute favorites (along with AC2 then Black Flag for gameplay purposes). Bayek is an incredible character, the world is beautiful, great combat, etc... This game was so well rounded. I really wanna play it again now. Look forward to this playthrough!

There are no "Arabs" in this game Egyptians are not Arabs, they are different Bayek is probably the best voice acted character in history of AC, also the grey scenes are absolute cinema, the best in AC as well
Well, because of the location, the Egyptian people were always mixed from the earliest times. Mixed between African (North and East African) and West Asian (Levantine and Arab) and European too (Greek). There is no such thing as a uniform Egyptian ethnicity. So, even if at that time Egyptians didn't necessarily identify as "Arabs" many of them may have had some Arab DNA and the ancient Egyptian language did in fact have some influences from Semitic languages.
Well, Egyptians today call themselves Arabs, but they wouldn't have seen themselves as such back then (they didn't even speak Arabic). Also, Abubakar Salim, who plays Bayek is also not an Arab, he's British with Kenyan descent.

@@mhosni86 Didn't the arabs expanded to Egypt in the 8th century? That would make it after this game.
@ Egypt was one of the biggest cultural hubs in the world, and that opened it to a lot of influences from every direction early on. All parts of the region affected each other, cultural influences between the people in Syria and Palestine and the people of Egypt through Sinai (continuing when Syria and Egypt were majority Christians). There were a lot of Arabs in Syria. Ethiopia and Yemen (Southern Arabia) had a lot of ties and influenced each other quiet a lot because of the close proximity and shared history, and in turn influence between Ethiopia and Egypt even seen in how both the Egyptian church and the Ethiopian church are close to one another. Also worth mentioning how close the Nile is in Upper Egypt to the Red sea, which is the only thing separating Egypt and Arabia. The Arab/Muslim expansion in the 7th and 8th century was a military expedition not a demographical one and its main goal was to introduce Islam to people who didn't know it before, it wasn't for the Arabs to move to those lands or colonize it. So, when the Arabs approached Egypt they fought the Romans not the Egyptians. And once the Arabs took control of the military and political matters, they stayed in their garrison cities and dealt with the Egyptians in civil matters and trade. The Egyptian population didn't dramatically change ethnically from that. Most Egyptians just slowly started voluntarily converting to Islam and learned to speak Arabic and let go of their ancient customs which were seen as being against their new beliefs, which prompted some Western observers to call it mockingly as "Arabization", and none of those people said a word criticizing the "Hellenization" of Egypt during the Greek and Roman period.
Yep Origins completely revamped the entire combat system for Assassins Creed and in the background at the time, Ubisoft had somewhat scrapped the idea of releasing a new AC game annually so this came about 2 years after Syndicate. Also on a sidenote Bayek's intro of killing the guy and showing his full anger is probably one of my favorite openings of AC to date.

The Arab identity came to Egypt alongside Islam and the Arabic language, long after this time (and to this day many Egyptians don't identify as Arab, even if they speak Arabic as their main language). At this point, they would have been speaking the Demotic stage of the Egyptian language (except in Siwa, where they actually spoke and Amazigh language, related to languages from further West in North Africa, which the game unfortunately left out).

I know you often have people saying to just do the main stories, but as always, I am fully in support of you doing everything you can and want to do in this game. Take all the time to explore all the little corners, and fully enjoy the story. And if you need an excuse for it, just say you're grinding for as much exp as you can! After all, what better excuse can you get than the fact that it's literally an RPG, to do as much as you want. But then again, I've always said, the few times I've commented, that you should play how you want, and do all the exploring and content you want, rather than focusing on specific parts; because, for me, the greatest joy is to see someone else enjoying something I enjoyed experience it as fully as they want. On a separate note, I don't know any Egyptian people personally, so I wanted to ask, do they generally consider themselves "Arabs"? I ask, because there are two ways I could see it going, as a person of Japanese descent. Either it would be like calling me "Asian," which I have no problem with, as it's just a more generalized term for the greater area my ancestry comes from. Or, it might be like calling me Chinese or Korean, which I'd find offensive, not because there'd be anything wrong with being either of those, but because it would be treating all the Asian cultures as if they were the same thing. So, is "Arab" the general term for Middle-eastern/Egyptian peoples, or is it something to keep in mind to avoid? I ask only because I'm not sure, and I don't want you to accidentally cause offense if it's not the correct term.
To answer your question, "Arab" isn't a general term for Middle Eastern peoples, but specifically to people who speak the Arabic language AND self-identify as Arab. Turkey and Iran are two examples of Middle Eastern countries where the significant majority of people aren't Arabs, as Arabic is not a widely spoken language in either country. In modern Egypt people speak Arabic, but some Egyptians identify as Arabs and other reject that identity (especially though not exclusively Copts, an Egyptian ethnic group who largely practice Christianity). It's a complex situation, and to ere on the safe side it's better not to call Egyptians Arabs unless you're talking about a specific individual who identifies as Arab, because if you call all Egyptians Arabs you might offend some people. Oh, and Egypt didn't adopt the Arabic language and identity until after the introduction of Islam, about 700 years after this game, so people like Bayek definitely wouldn't have identified as Arabs (though some people under Egyptian control in Sinai probably did!)

Welcome to Assassin's Creed origin frankly it's Assassin's Creed is much too good you'll see you'll enjoy it it's true that the game is super moving so we're only at the beginning or rather you're only at the beginning of the adventure but that's okay be a crazy thing already I had forgotten about Bayek's son but you'll see the rest will be so good and Senu our eagles she and incredible I cry❤️😍
Honestly if any one of the new assassins deserved a trilogy it was bayek his story was just that good
Easily the best of the trilogy 😭I did the whole series myself 2 years ago and had to take 2 near half year breaks on odyssey and Valhalla
I had to level up to 40 to defeat the phylakes but it was very tough
This game made me more proud to be Egyptian
Ancient Egyptians are not technically Arabs.
i cant wait when you start to play ac odysey. It's ma favourite game from series of all time
Where it all ends, it begins. Bayek’s story… is our story. His struggles are our struggles. The end of one thing is the beginning of another. Let us see what Bayek’s story or role will take us.
Let us see why his story is the Creed’s story.
which headphones are you using for gaming?
