You don’t often get a revenge story in which both partners are working together to avenge the loss of their child. It’s usually one person who loses their significant other and children.
YES. I didn't know how much I wanted to see a story like this!
Fun fact: Aya is played by Alix Wilton Regan, who also voiced the inquisitor in Dragon Age Inquisition, as well as Samantha Traynor in Mass Effect 3.
She voiced Traynor 😮😮
Whaaat she voiced sam? Now of course i was in love with that voice i knew i heard it somewhere
Aya has to be one of my favorite characters of Assassin's Creed along with Bayek. Such a great dynamic between the two.
I just wanted to say that it's been an absolute pleasure to partake in your journey through Assassin's Creed. I came across your AC playthrough two months ago and now I've caught up through Syndicate, and I've loved every moment of it. I hope more gamers do playthroughs of this amazing series.
Woman, behold your wife. Aya is up there with Elise and Kassandra for favorite female AC characters and I’m absolutely overjoyed you get to meet her, envious of the journey ahead and eternally hopeful a woman like that exists.
Kassandra is my favorite but that’s also because she’s the main character so I have more time with her
I want to@@rjwallace7477 I want say something about Kassandra and AYA but will later
@@batofkrypton9765 just because she is Greek lol. She doesn’t look or act like her and has very different power
Sus tho
The Serapis quests are some of my favorite as we get to see the local faith and Bayek supporting it, while also providing a positive rolemodel in the priest.
It's kind of amazing that they only had one kid, honestly.
37:43 Meg really listed all the possibilities known to mankind lol
Loved Origins, and loved Odyssey even more. Currently working on 100%ing Odyssey
A reminder, friends: please do not discuss spoilers or give tips in these comments. We want Meg to be able to discover things naturally, whether that's story, mechanics, or history. Thank you!
Ah! Aya and Bayek. The benchmark.
I'm really enjoying Assassin's Creed Origins and the characters in this one
and the storyline of it, have a great day
and Thank You Meg.⚔️🛡️⚔️🎵🎶🎼
As Greek its fun to listening to the Npcs speaking my language and writing on the game is same too.
Uploaded on my birthday!!! awsome playthrough meg
Happy birthday!!! 🧁🌞🎂
@@MegMage Thank you
I am actually from Alexandria and I am really happy that you like it
Why do I imagine hearing Borat saying "My Wife!!!" 🤣🤣🤣
I thought the same seeing the title LOL
"A Predator bow is that for stealth?"
No, when you shoot it, Chris Hansen shows up asks you to take a seat.
Alexandria is one of my favorite cities in the RPG era, it's hard to pick between Alexandria and Athens honestly. Definitely not accurate to real life but being able to see the Pyramids from the top of the Lighthouse or the Sarapeion goes hard as a visual, equally, standing on top of the Great Pyramid and still being able to see the city and like 50% of Egypt is crazy.
I'm pretty sure Seni and Senu are like Gentleman and Lady, so Bayek literally named his bird Lady.
Personally, Bayek with the shaved head and the beard is his hottest look, i always kept him with the beard.
Not much of the Ancient city is left anymore most of it in ruins now but it is still very beautifull to see the ancient structures that still stands it is a mixture between greek and egyptian the city.
the greek influence is strong with Aya. as is Egypt. I love these times.
I seriously can't wait for you to play Assassin's Creed Odyssey (As Kassandra of course) xD My Fave AC game
Aya is gorgeous
Is Bayek played by the same voice actor who did Paul Redeker in World War Z?
Aya was suppose to be the lead in this game....but the old head of the studio thought it would hurt sales so they made Bayek the lead
we are all connected
LETS GOOOOOOOOO MEG!!!!
Love your channel big love from London ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
god the music is truly glorious
❤❤❤❤❤
Horses look faster but I think both have the same speed,it's just depending on what you prefer
I think that this channel should be prescribed by doctors as an antidepressant. Your videos are always uplifting!
I swear, it seemed that just the other week was the beginning of the year and you still had your Christmas tree up! This year has flown by!
I knew you'd love Aya!
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Aya was originally supposed to be the main character in this, but Ubi got scared by chuds
I honestly don't mind, cause they gave us Bayek, one of the best AC characters to exist, he's up there with Ezio for me.
That wasn't the reason...if they even considered it at all. None of the six Legendary assassins were or are going to be a protagonist for a full AC game, because their stories and feats are already known. There would be no mystery for the player as to what their main mission or goals would be. Why would a gamer want to play a game they already know the ending to?
@@Lithenius Even if that was initially an idea for the studio...I guarantee you it got shot down for the reason I stated in my first comment. That was my point. Story ideas go thru a series of discussions, and it has to get past stage after stage until it is finalized to be greenlit. Someone most likely during the process pointed out the obvious hurdle...that being who would want to play a game that they already know the outcome to? Answer; Nobody, so the proposal was dead on arrival.
Not quite. Originally Bayek was supposed to die and be replaced as the protagonist by Aya halfway through, but the studio interfered with the initial vision of the creatives and whittled her role down. It wasn't outside pressure that led to the change, there is a strong INTERNAL culture of misogyny at Ubisoft, which has been discussed by some of the creatives involved.
