How I Listen To My Furniture and Creativity

Once I had the insides of the furniture painted, I decided to go back and paint the legs or the base of these night stands in the blue as well. Originally I was thinking it was going to be the same color as I painted the inside but that would look bazaar. It just goes to show that as I'm working on these pieces, ideas are coming to me. Often, I start off with maybe a vague notion of where I'm going with these pieces. As I'm working on them, it continuously changes. It's kind of like the furniture speaks to you and your original ideas just goes out the window.
