That fish your calling a Muskie is a Paddlefish (Spoonbill). When I fished Table Rock I found quite a few.
@@leviloe3831 that makes a lot more sense. I always wondered why it never reacted.
What is your starting point on settings...gain...color gain...tvg...ghost tree...etc...thanks
Uhhhhhhh let me get back to you once I get a chance to look at my boat after this winter storm lol. I know gain was 70, TVG low, Noise reject low, and I cant remember color gain or the filter one.
Hey love your content, really appreciate it. Quick question for you regarding your active target before you fully move on and no longer use it, can you please add some of your settings that you had on your active target to give the best clarity on the screen. Thank you so much I really appreciate it.
Randy
On my AT I had noise rejection off, contrast set to 86, range set to 100, and down range is the only thing I would adjust depending on the lake. It would go from 30-60. Those were the only things I would touch then the blue color palette.
Great content.
@@lancelannom8087 I appreciate it.
Hey, Ive been trying to get into livescope stuff, what unit and transducer do you use? Ive been trying to find the best one for bass fishing. Im down in texas where my lakes are super pressured, so Im trying to see how the fish behave. Any recommendations?
I would say if you are wanting to get into it for cheap as possible I would go with the Lowrance Eagle or get the transducer for whatever your head unit is. But, for best livescope setup I would suggest a Garmin unit with an LVS34. A lot of people really like the GPSMAP1222 with the LVS34.
Honestly I think the Active Target is better for target separation and suspended fish. I have ran both and have Garmin right now.
I would agree that its better on suspended fish. Quite frankly they are all good on suspended fish. I just wanted to make the swap to Garmin and this way I can do a full comparison.
Me to 8:45
If you arent catching drum you arent trying.
where did the lowrance go??? will it be making a comeback?? livescope and active target??
I still have some Lowrance units on the boat ha. I may bring it back in the future but for now Im going Livscope.
What app do you use to edit with?
iMovie or Final Cut pro
@ thanks will it go to 4k
@ yes
What POV camera you running? I'm about done with my GoPros at this point. My hero 4's were awesome, but ive got a couple 9's and 10's that make a day on the water difficult to say the least.
I currently use DJI Osmo Actions.
You where coming in way to hot on those jerk bait fish later in the video most likely would have cought those fish if where approaching them right just a tip
I thought about that after the fact honestly. But I appreciate the tip!
what were the settings on that unit
@@Townes-v9i honestly I could not tell you even if I wanted to. I have been playing around with the settings a lot. I’ll do a video in the future possibly.
What unit is that 8616?
@@andrewblanton5270 it’s the 1643 I believe. It’s the same exact resolution and specs as the 8616 just a lot cheaper.
