Spotted bass have a tongue tooth patch and usually have small black spots on the white sections, not just a bright lateral line. I didn't get a good look but I am pretty sure at least one was a spotted bass.

I have the same one but it’s in the bluegill pattern and if you open up the joint a little bit it will swim like crazy. I used a fingernail file and sanded it down a bit and it swims great!
