They could segment each wing to certain destinations like how SIN has arranged theirs for SQ between Changi's T1-2-3. EK operates entirely in DXB's Terminal 3 which given their massive expansion, have simply run its course.

@@d.b.cooper1"spread economic growth into wider areas" Isn't the new airport in the middle of the desert? Who wants to spread economic growth to the desert?
@@odzergaming Not really, especially if it's a domestic flight. It just depends on the airport. Some airports have 50 gates and millions of passenger traveling whereas others have only 5 gates with just thousands of passengers.

Good to see they find such ideas to spend the oil money in their own lands atleast, all those natural resources and the profits being invested in american or european stocks or properties is just utterly foolish and has not only been disastrous for affordability in those capitals but also it has reached a point of saturation.

15 min by people mover train within the airport, just like the one at the current airport 😊
The scale and the foresight is outstanding

Lol Qantas 😂
These are really big plans for DWC
These guys definitely think bigger is better
I already hate transiting through DXB... this will be 5x worse.

Still prefer small airport over large one. I can get on airplane in 30 mins after parking and be off from airport 30 after landing
You cant get on plane 30 min after parking, you have to arrive 2-3 hours prior

So are they just gonna demolish the current airport once the new airport is completed?
prob not
They have said it will be completely decommissioned. It’s right in the middle of Old Dubai (Deria) so the land is quite valuable.
@@romansanders thats more likely then my guess
this going to be craaazy 😍👏
Wow, best of luck.
Smart. Airport is the start. Tourists contribute so much to Emirates economy.
How does 5 parallel runways work... L, C, R and what would the other two be? LL/RR? or do they have to go A,B,C,D,E?
They can give consecutive numbers after L/R, like 30L, 30R, 31L, 31R.. airports like ATL or IST use this system
It would probably be something like
30L..30LC..30C..30RC..30R
LC would be Left centre and RC would be right centre
do you have any updates about the New Manila International Airport?
Prob still being planned out.
Is there canalisation for wc?
What will happen to DXB?
Cool to ask what can the giant terminal become once the airport closed
Wouldn’t be surprised if they closed Dubai international once this new airport is fully built
@@Zephyrion__ But what can the old terminal building be used for?
They will either shut it down or convert it into a cargo airfield. Who knows
Layout looks similar to Atlanta, and maybe will be even busier
Indeed. That might be the plan for Emirates, to have a Delta approach with a massive main hub for all connections.
sure...
what is the functional purpose of the space shown at 1:00 ?
To show off, like 90% of Dubai
A350 wow beautiful plane
Hope they add drainage to this in case it floods again.

Why us airports can't look like this?
Because they spend trillions on their military and propping up others' military
The Arabs are tenacious ❤❤
one question... why ??
Because the current airport is nearly saturated
Have you ever been to DXB?
Because DXB is always overcrowded
Dxb is done rn, it can’t handle anymore planes.
can video hurt?
0:52 - Kyiv Zhulyany 😢🇺🇦

I prefer smaller airports
Better there than here
What about the other airport?
DXB will close down when this one opens in about 10 years
