      for real, the amount of times i lose games in league of legends because their team carries the enemy top laner or the jungler comes to cap top is so stupid. such a shit game. people just play braind dead champs with no labbing time required and get wins. If they played a real 1v1 game where they need a modicum of mechanics they will quit the game. League does require a large knowledge pool tho but so much downtime in games, easy braind dead champs, and teammates to carry you. that's why its popular.

    If anyone wondering, the FGC is one of the best gaming scenes to be apart of. That’s why things like taking your shirt off and putting it on your opponent is allowed. Everyone is having fun and enjoying the game.
    The Smash community are the ppl you see breaking controllers and rage quitting 9/10 times in this video. The FGC doesn’t like to be included with them fr but we often do 🤷🏻‍♂️

    It’s not because arcades are in cities, that may have been the case when arcades were in the scene but at this point the majority of the diversity comes from the choice of FGC supported games. Street fighter HUGE in Korea, China, Japan fighters Z is fucking huge everywhere but something I’ve always noticed is that black kids seem to gravitate towards fighters Z no surprise tho EVERYONE loves DBZ. I could go on but the reality of the FGC is everyone started on their own and found friends within the community it’s the honest accepting nature of the FGC that promotes it’s diversity it’s where introverts shine

We need more people in the FGC so that it can grow even more and bloom into the next generation of Challengers.

    xQc is absolutely right (in my opinion) about the diversity in the FGC, in comparison to other e-sports genres. It's all about accessibility. Racial groups with a lower average income will have less representation in PC only games, especially in the United States where PC bangs seem to be scarce. Consoles are always cheaper and easier to (initially) use hence why we see more diversity in the FGC. South Korea and China have a lot of money being put into e-sports and the infrastructure is there to support the scene, i.e. lots and lots of pc bangs (pc cafes) which makes gaming accessible to the majority of the population, potentially producing a lot more professional players (not necessarily to a higher standard but they could be), in comparison to other countries where you'd need to buy your own PC to even start playing.

    What i love about fighting games is that you can be rivals in the game and still be friends out the game.
    When youve fought someone for so long (ive been playing since street fighter 2) you can really go all out and talk trash to your friends when you are winning and they have no choice but to take it because they lost. But its the same for me when i lose, i have to take all the trash talk and humiliaton they throw ad me, and i cant say anything because i lost. this only motivates me to go be better at the game and keep learning so i can fuck them up next time. And so we go on and on hahahahahaha

    "I notice the FGC is much more diverse."
    Most fighting games are a one-vs-one experience. You can't use politics, majority groups, or arbitrary qualifying rules to keep whole groups of people out of the community. If you lose versus your opponent in a fighting game, it's your own fault, and no one elses. Also, the FGC as a whole loves its rivalries, and takes after the showmanship of American wrestling like the WWE. If you want to convince yourself that you can use facts & logic to overcome the competition, show it in the game, or be put to shame. It's not uncommon to be put to shame in the FGC.

    • @NotNowBiri
      @NotNowBiri 2 роки тому +7

      Yeah pretty much, there's way less politics and is more accessible for anyone willing to make the flight as opposed to shooters where you first need to network for teams/sponsors. In fgc, if you have a controller, and can pay for the flight then you can challenge anyone and prove you're hot shit. It's not that simple for say, something like overwatch.
