Love it! It has been a while since I have traveled. Going to Utah next week and watching you pack got me really excited. Can't wait to get the backpack out and start packing 🎒. Have fun on your trip.
I like getting the little single use shampoo/conditioner packets for short trips where I’m only going to need to wash my hair once or twice. They’re so flat that they barely take up any space in the liquids bag

My Lululemon infinity scarf -- it's a great blanket-like garment for the plane (I'm *always* cold) and doubles as a nursing cover for my baby, who also loves to sleep in it next to me :) Such a great multi-functional piece. I never travel without it!

I learned to pack light for my honeymoon. We took a cross country motorcycle trip and I haven't needed much for traveling since. It's very liberating to not have to bring your whole house with you.

Even though I don't have any plans for traveling so far this year, your packing videos are always helpful and satisfying to watch! I actually bought myself a backpack just like what you have from Amazon a couple months ago, but in a grey color with pink buckles. Great work on that backpack! It had more usable compartments than I expected 😅 My family and I are globe trotting with just a carry on each, and a backpack! We recently just bought some new clothes so will be letting a few things go before we head to the next country 😁

I just went to Toronto for a week and a bit with only a personal item and since it was my first time traveling alone it was so nice to not have to worry about a bunch of luggage
I think I have the same backpack, but wow I didn't know it can fit in that many stuff haha love it!!

Backpack only is definitely the way to go, esp if flying..but after sruffing all pockets, maybe finish by using a ruler to show if the backpack still falls within 'personal item' size would be nice. I see so many overstuffed bags where they WERE a personal item before packing..but not after.

I feel like you could definitely fit even more if you military rolled your clothes and used compression bags. Only downside is your clothes could be a little wrinkled once you get to your destination. Helps if you have access to an iron but you can also buy wrinkle spray.

That's amazing! You packed that thing like a clown car. lol. I wear size 14 shoes though, so it's tough to fit those in a a personal item bag.

That backpack killed my back and it’s never been the same. Traveled minimally, becareful! I can only travel with over the shoulder bags now.

You did a great job! All of your liquids are not in your 311 bag? You’re lucky you’re a tiny gal, you can pack a whole lot more clothes :-) I’m 5 foot 10 and I’m in an age where I do not wear crop tops anymore :-) lol
Great video!! Definitely taking some tips from this. Have you ever checked to see if your bag actually fits in those bins at frontier/spirit airlines? Just curious because every time I fly with my adidas backpack they always make me measure it. 🤦🏻♀️
I checked it’s measurements against what’s on the airline’s website before buying, and they do!
I am an absolutely terrible packer! We just got home from a 10 day trip - 2, 53 lb bags and 1, 45 lb bag for a family of four. But, we needed swimwear, dress clothes, and casual clothes each day. 😂. This is our regular…always one bag overweight per Delta and pay the fee.

Hi Ashlynne can you show a more detailed look into how you do your room makeovers online and color palettes and furniture choices and styling..when you did a makeover it was was quick crush overview but not a deep look into the programme you use and how you use it….

Ahhh this video was so inspiring 🤩 I noticed on the Amazon link there was a size Large and then Large-L? One was 16 inches tall and one 18. Would you be able to measure your backpack if you would be so kind? Yours look like the perfect size for trips!

Yep! There’s actually a hidden zippered pocket at the back that’s PERFECT for taking through security. 😉
And not really…. I often go without one, so I don’t really mind it 🤍

Not sure this would qualify as a person item (one than can be placed under the seat). It looks more like a carry on size. Am I missing anything here? BTW, love the content!
The dimensions actually do qualify for the personal item size on most airlines!

Don’t your hand sanitizer/hand cream/perfume need to go in your liquids bag??
So theoretically yes, but I travel with them (through TSA even) all the time and no one ever really seems to care about it, so I just don’t bother with the smaller stuff as much anymore 😅

If you're travelling abroad, that's too many liquids...just saying so people don't think this is something they can get away with. I'm also shocked that bag is considered a "personal item" as it's still pretty big!
You can save even more space by melting your deodarant and putting it in a repurposed chapstick tube

Literally just flew with it as a personal item last week! It fits the dimensions of most American lines 🤍🤍
