I believe their next major update will involve a naval expansion, introducing modern naval ships and new aircraft carriers. If that's the case they're most likely to add the naval version of the Su-33 and the F-18.
I think if we are going to get a Hornet we will get the standard A variant sometime before December as that version cannot carry AMRAAM’s and then in December we could get either the A+ or C variant
hopefully, Sweden is missing an entire navy and the french navy also isn't finished, subs can be added, cold war ships and frigates, ALLOT GAIJIN can do in naval to bring it to par with jets with anti-ship missile capability
I'd say Su-30SM because we already has Su-27SM. it has 3d thrust vectoring, carries all the important new (maybe upcomming) missiles: R-73M, R-74 and R-37M
R-73M and R-37M are too modern. the next arh should be r77-1, and gaijin have already created weapon loadout files with r77-1. r73m should only come out at the same time is the 9X

the US jets listed would not be able to be added to the game, as they were never fitted with thrust vectoring in USAF/USN service, meaning they weren't designed to carry weapons at all, with the F-22 being the only successful application of thrust vectoring onto a US production fighter, instead, the US doctrine opts for BVR combat over dogfighting capabilities.
If I have to guess, the only 4th gen in the tech tree that will get TVC is Su-30SM and Su-35. F-15, F-16, J-10B, and Eurofighter typhoon with TVC will be premium or squadron vehicles since they're only exist as test bed. It'll be unique for the Russian because team blue will have much more advance BVR missile (aim 120C5/7/8, aim-120D, meteor, AAM-4B) where Russia only have R-77-1 as their most advanced BVR missile (not counting prototype/cancelled project, and R-37M which is used as AWACS killer). TVC will come much later for team blue with F-22 and F-35B.
Eurofighter thrust-vectoring is not just a testbed project. The system can be retrofitted to any existing EJ200 engine, is available now and has been for some years now. The reason why it is not in service, is because all current operators of the Eurofighter have deemed it superfluous to their requirements, as it already compares favourably with other peer aircraft in terms of agility.
As a Russia main (I religiously fly Russian planes), I would LOVE to see Thrust Vectoring aircraft, it would enable me to make some very cool aerobatics.
For the keybind on off thing, i think using the vtol keys to activate or deactivate the thrust vectoring would make sense. It would control when you use it, and the intensity to prevent accidental cobra maneuvers mid-dogfight
Thrust vectoring only turns on at low speeds, at high speeds you’ll still keep the same energy retention as the flanker which is very good, but irl they automatically turn on at lower speeds, they could add a button but I would never have it off, even in a guns only dogfight you can easily point your nose wherever you want
I'd love redfor to get TV planes but I don't think it'll fix their main issues. TV would just heighten the current issue of flankers and etc bleeding so much speed when going defensive. The Ibis or w/e vodka radar and chinese with their AESA radars (or even a freaking N001VE) is more needed alongside better missiles. Issue with TV is after it comes into the game it'll be great for dogfighting until current gen IR missiles are added which make it more of a novelty. Current patch has shown that avionics and missiles are what will truly define any meta alongside in thrust we trust. I want my Su-30 MKI/SM vodka twirler tho, do loopy loops and make NATO jelly before getting RKO'd out of nowhere, such a nice looking plane.
I would say the su30 or su35 the su37 only saw limited flights as it was a technology demonstrator. Although this would be pretty awesome to see the flanker in it proper final form. Would be cool with up to 14 missiles. WHAT 🤯
What Gaijin could do (and could implement now for all aircraft) is a toggle. Whether it’s mouse wheel, or a button bind, when you use the pitch up button, that thing can limit how hard you pull. It would be tricky to get used to, but could help so much in how you actually fight in your planes.
@@oofdotcom420 ever heard of using secondary weapons and Alt+ other keys ? or even combined keys like O + I turn off engine and such but O or I alone does something else?

Thrust vectoring isnt even that good irl lol. It's very trivial/limited (only "useful" in low speeds) at most and in the cases where it can be use, it gives off a lot of energy bleed enough for the positional advantage to be useless. There is also the fact that the positional advantage isn't even that much of a game changer, thrust vectoring only affects the initial turn rate and does not affect the turn rate or the FP in general. If thrust vectoring was really useful then why isn't the US using thrust vectoring in the first place? They obviously have the capacity to use thrust vectoring as shown with aircraft like the F-22 or the X-31, so why not use it on all of their modern aircraft?
6:37 i'd say ofc a turn off/on keybind but even if it's on when aiming with mouse it shouldn't do anything but when pitching or yawing(if your jet has 3d thrust vectoring) on/via keyboard then another setting to change the amount from standard 50% or smth which you can change and in full-real controlls it's 100% standard
yeah that would make sense, just make it so that thrust vectoring kicks in when using the pitch/yaw but modelling them like the harriers or yaks aint gonna be nice, Im gonna be mid dogfight and start fumbling all my keybinds
I think I heard that using thrust vectoring in level flight instead of your elevators is more aerodynamic, so I'd personally want a vectored thrust only mode aswell for when I want to just rocket some bases, maybe like a vecotored thrust trim option would work?
@@TallyPatka-dz2czi was thinking about. If your pitch keybinds are W and S for example if you press those only then the thrustvectoring activates. Just use your mouse if you keep the thrustvectoring on(in a dogfight or smth)

Thrust Vector might not have a big impact just like your point. With these "Missiles" match meta, tbh... losing speed when doing supermaneuvrability thrust vector is kinda.... "dangerous/a bit unwise". BUT!!! still helps with "1 vs 1" :D
Honestly, I dunno how they would implement it. Well need huge maps for these aircraft. If Russia gets crazy 3d vectoring aircraft with a modern missiles US will have to compensate with f22 or f35 with its stealth capabilities. Stealth can either be broken or useless in war thunder
Pretty sure the only TVC aircraft that NATO will get that has been used as an active military aircraft is the F-22. NATO simply never implemented these vehicles in their air forces. Russia on the other hand… Even so, TVC is an extreme speed bleed. You can turn, sure, but you’ll get stuck in the dogfight
Mig-29 OVT as a premium. Can carry r-73 and r-27 family like tech tree mig 29, but has thrust vectoring. Would be very fun. Plus it could be the first rank 8 premium for Russia to counter f-20. This is a really cool aircraft that I’d love to see in game
Only the Su-30SM, Su-35, Su-57, and F-22 are real aircraft that employ TVC. This is because the thrust vectoring nozzle is a dead weight, and no one likes it. It is only tactically useful in an emergency merge situation where you need to shoot an IR missile as soon as possible to end the fight. However, the plane ends up being a sitting duck with no energy. That's a big problem for these heavy Sukhois with bad thrust-to-weight ratio that struggle to keep their energy even without TVC.
Too bad SU-47 never got its thrust vectoring engines or went anywhere meaningful, it would be amazing plane to fulfill my childhood ace combat feels. tbh any sukhois are nice and thats why im currently grinding USSR tree instead of flying f15c and gripen c lol
yak41's thrust vectoring is complete BS. For once, the non afterburning rear nozzle does about twice as much thrust as the engines on the body that provide vertical lift, so using the afterburner on the 45 degree vectored nozzle would make the yak141 tip over it's nose and fall out of lift, and yet it increases it's turn rate, energy retention and AOA while also considerably reducing it's turn radius. How much BS could this thing be? Truly a 24th of February 2022 moment.

Some would say "bvr missiles would make tvc on jets really occasional." Yes, but it would be true if multipathing were not op and if we could have proper bvr fight, instead of hugging the ground and just spamming missile and killing those who dare to fly higher than 50m while taking 0 risk. 4:14 NO Red is much worse now than blue was before the update Red only had the superior range but litterly blue had everything else better. Now Red is the worst in EVERYTHING: Worse radar, rwr, Fox 3's(pull after launch, range, chaff ignorance strengt) canon, flight performance, less countermeasures they could've easly add the R-77-1 which is still worse than the aim120 but atleast 10% better than the R-77 on paper
Not worse everything. The R-73 is still very competitive with the AIM-9M, and the R-77 technically has better pull than the 120. The SU-27 also can carry more missiles and its flight performance is decently competitive. Of course blue is still way better than red rn, but it’s not as abysmal as you make it sound. Also, before the update red had superior range, missile tracking, and speed in the R27ER, so it was crazy one sided. There was no point in even trying to use AIM-7s against Russians because they were just to far inferior to even the aim 9m

Maybe you should have actually learned how to use that jet instead of forcing the dogfight anytime everytime. Besides, the US currently would have about the same cold spot as the russians, considering that gaijin loves adding an early variant and a late variant with maybe a premium middle variant down the line.
you're not wrong. Thrust vectoring only really kicks ass in a dogfight WVR. By the time most people even see a merge with fox 3s, there is probably almost no one left. That's why the US never really went into thrust vectoring is because we -try- to look into the future and the practical.(I say this because they tried to do that just before Vietnam thinking missiles were so bad ass, why even need guns? *laughs in early Phantom with no gun* but then they saw the success rates of early missiles and how poop they could be and were too ahead of themselves) How often will we get into a dogfight for it to be useful and is it worth the cost? Most aerial combat is decided generally before they even see each other, even in most simulations. So we're focused on better missile tech and countering that tech IE "Stealth". So the philosophies have diverged between the East and West. RU still goes for heavy manuevring and -ok- missiles(That being said they supposedly have a functioning hypersonic AAM but i dont know how reliable it is in actuality since most of their stuff doesnt have even near teh same success rate as US made missiles). We go for being able to hit and not being seen as the primary focus. Now, one could argue the F22 but its the exception to the rule and the Su57 technically has better thrust vectoring it has all 3 directions, the Raptor only has up and down but thats what really counts in turn fights. F22 also has vastly superior stealth. One could also point out why do the RU still make thrust vector planes while the US does not? Well, because they also have a VASTLY smaller air fleet than we do so it still costs them less overall to do that and trying to retro fit an entire existing fleet of planes or adding them to F16s is simply not cost effective and still be able to sell to allies etc. You'd think simply adding directional nozzles wouldn't be that hard but I guess it is.
if russia gets there thrust vectoring i need at bare minium the F/A-18E XD or yk the F-22A I think its balanced no? also next video talking about steath implaments? like the F-117 maybe as an event plane so people who didn't have US air could still get it ALSO you had mentioned it only having 2 GBUs but it was tested with AAMs XD so 2 9Ls or 9Ms the issue was it had to lower the missile into the jet stream to launch it
Can’t wait for all the Russian players complaining when they’re thrust vectoring plane bleeds speed like a Mirage 3. Great low speed maneuverability, but you’ll constantly be at low speed, and they’ll hate it but won’t understand that that’s what TVC does
Also I’m excited to try out the Derby with the new loft angle, should perform very much like the AMRAAM now. Little worse at long range, little better at close range
I can't wait until thrust vectoring does come, and Russian mains complain about how bad the flight model is. They already don't know how to manage their speed and rnergy in high AOA aircraft, imagine how bad they're gonna fall on their face with thrust vectoring, where the aircraft will dump speeed even faster 😅

Honestly, I dunno how they would implement it. Well need huge maps for these aircraft. If Russia gets crazy 3d vectoring aircraft with a modern missiles US will have to compensate with f22 or f35 with its stealth capabilities. Stealth can either be broken or useless in war thunder
Russian Thurst vectoring jets: Su-57 Su-35 Su-37 Su-30SM and more ( you can named more if you can)
Kvochur bell (real)
we just got amraams and and f15c and su27s and yall alr talking about MORE jets?
We need more now!!!!!
Pretty sure the only TVC aircraft that NATO will get that has been used as an active military aircraft is the F-22. NATO simply never implemented these vehicles in their air forces. Russia on the other hand…
Even so, TVC is an extreme speed bleed. You can turn, sure, but you’ll get stuck in the dogfight
I want the Airsuperiority update again but this time they add 5th gen jets and 4th gen tanks. Su-57, f35, KF51, T-14 Armata
We are far away from 5th gen lmfao
Su-33 for sure
MiG 29 OVT
Him: No one wants to flight red force
Me: Are you sure about that
Mig-29 OVT as a premium. Can carry r-73 and r-27 family like tech tree mig 29, but has thrust vectoring. Would be very fun. Plus it could be the first rank 8 premium for Russia to counter f-20. This is a really cool aircraft that I’d love to see in game
MiG-29 OVT use MiG-29M airframe so it can use R-77 with 8 pylons.
@@TheKaMeLRo oh cool! Even better

Hi
Hello!
Please Mig29OVT (i think that was its name)
Only the Su-30SM, Su-35, Su-57, and F-22 are real aircraft that employ TVC.
This is because the thrust vectoring nozzle is a dead weight, and no one likes it.
It is only tactically useful in an emergency merge situation where you need to shoot an IR missile as soon as possible to end the fight. However, the plane ends up being a sitting duck with no energy.
That's a big problem for these heavy Sukhois with bad thrust-to-weight ratio that struggle to keep their energy even without TVC.
Honestly I think the F-22 raptor would be amazing in war thunder apart from destroying everything on the enemy team and becoming the new meta
They should add it. It would be funny. Trust...
@@AeroTurtle yeah too true
Too bad SU-47 never got its thrust vectoring engines or went anywhere meaningful, it would be amazing plane to fulfill my childhood ace combat feels. tbh any sukhois are nice and thats why im currently grinding USSR tree instead of flying f15c and gripen c lol
Berkut would be sick ngl
yak41's thrust vectoring is complete BS.
It's a UFO
@@AeroTurtle totally not related to the invasion👍 same as how the r27er was added before the f-16's own radar missiles and all 👍 definitely not russian propabanda
Eventually they will. Not this year.
No, J-11B also does not have thrust vectoring
hi turtle are you a real person
No
@@AeroTurtle that stinks
The thing about it is one is always gonna be better than the other and since like 30% of the community plays usa than youll hear alot of complaining (r27er) now the other 20% (probably more than 30% and 20% but u get what i mean) now the aim120s are broken i just wish that we could get a balenced thing and or a way for gujin to allows us to grind a new nation easly this new nation bonus is bs i think they shoulda just given us a flat 10% boost but what do ik so yeah one side is always gonna be un happy is it possible for most to be happy with the balance? Idk
F22 pls
WE NEED IT NOW!
@AeroTurtle lol I wish we were that far along. Maybe in the next 2 or 3 years.
Edit: googled it, First flight was in 1997 so maybe sooner. Maybe I'm huffing hopium
Ofcourse they will since russia has no future jets without thrust vectoring
Su-35 and F-18 HARM
This would be nice
@@AeroTurtle MiG 1.44 maybe. I forgot if it had thrust vectoring but would be super cool
If not now, then in 20 years. But eventslly they will. Unless the game dies
real
Unless US gets F-15 ACTIVE/STOL/MTD as premium, I don't see that happening.
It carries no weapons so good luck using that
Yeah so I've been wondering the same thing for the future and future jets but I'm still saying you should never have a top tier premium it's what that's what destroyed World of Tanks is when it turns into a pay to win title😅
I love how people talk about tvc for Russian, China and some other nations but forget about nations who doesn't have jets with tvc and how that would be unfair for those one in dogfight.
Some would say "bvr missiles would make tvc on jets really occasional." Yes, but it would be true if multipathing were not op and if we could have proper bvr fight, instead of hugging the ground and just spamming missile and killing those who dare to fly higher than 50m while taking 0 risk.
That's my point of view, have a good day!
if you think multipathing is op then you are bad at the game
@@ferrous3262 bro cannot read the "have proper bvr fight" and then talk about skill issues.
I was trying to make a point of how tvc on jets could impact the game and you only saw the part about multipathing (on a video talking about tvc on jets).
Meanwhile the game is not only USA/Russia 😅
4:14 NO Red is much worse now than blue was before the update
Red only had the superior range but litterly blue had everything else better.
Now Red is the worst in EVERYTHING: Worse radar, rwr, Fox 3's(pull after launch, range, chaff ignorance strengt) canon, flight performance, less countermeasures
they could've easly add the R-77-1 which is still worse than the aim120 but atleast 10% better than the R-77 on paper
US mains arguing that the F-16 is worse than the I-153 because the F-16 has one gun whereas the I-153 has 4
Also i am still incredibly pissed about them fucking up soviet flight preformance, like IRL they should be near identical and in certain cases the soviets should win. The only way a Su-27 or MiG-29 will win against its contemporary is if said contemporary actively throws the duel, and even then it will be incredibly difficult.
@@damirvakhitov9213yeah I am really disappointed with how fucked the MiG 29 feels rn. It just feels sad to fly, and I’m hoping they add a better version or do a flight model fix sometime soon.
Also I’m not a US main anymore, this username was made several years ago, and I simply don’t care to change it. I 100% agree that blue is better than red right now to a frustrating degree, but I was just pointing out that it’s not all bad.
I also hope they add a proper helmet display for non-American jets at some point. It’s stupid that only US jets get that rn
@@damirvakhitov9213they f up American flight performance and we have to deal w it we had to wait years to get a good missile and what did we do that entire time…deal with it y’all Russian mains finally get humbled and now everything Russian is better than American like no bro be real 😭 y’all can’t even get gen 2 electronic scan array radars and never could afford to build a new platform so y’all just kept adding extremely small/useless upgrades and trying to make new platforms that majority of them failed. Even if ur not Russian come to realize that Russia is about to have a massive cold spot as the game goes on
@@thatboydre7585 How did they fuck up american flight preformance aside from giving the F-16 literal UFO flight preformance? And did the american top tier suffering begin with the F-4? Maybe you should have actually learned how to use that jet instead of forcing the dogfight anytime everytime.
Besides, the US currently would have about the same cold spot as the russians, considering that gaijin loves adding an early variant and a late variant with maybe a premium middle variant down the line.
Let’s fix the shit before we add new broken shit 🎉
you're not wrong.
Well said. If you get into a situation where you need to thrust vector in the raptor, you've screwed up big time.
if russia gets there thrust vectoring i need at bare minium the F/A-18E XD or yk the F-22A I think its balanced no? also next video talking about steath implaments? like the F-117 maybe as an event plane so people who didn't have US air could still get it ALSO you had mentioned it only having 2 GBUs but it was tested with AAMs XD so 2 9Ls or 9Ms the issue was it had to lower the missile into the jet stream to launch it
STOL F15 RAAHHHH also Su33 looks cool sometimes ig
Lol I just commented something very similar to this. TVC gives fantastic low speed and post stall control, but you will constantly be at that low speed.
Russian mains aren’t wrong the mig29 and su27 have underperforming fms and have been nerfed while f16 has been buffed
Never
As someone who believes everything russia makes are crude attempts to copy western designs... The Su30 Terminator is the coolest jet to ever fly and id never fly anything else if it was added
