Those plastic anchors are for sheetrock.
Screws with a sharp point and wide threads like the ones you used are for wood
and are very strong. The plastic anchors swell to a bigger diameter when the screw is inside
allowing them to stay inside something soft like drywall.
Just for future endeavors, and a general understanding for anyone passing by who reads this.
Also, plumb beats level on visible items.
Things like that are better to measure from the side over at top and bottom for level.
I would put top screw in firmly, step back and give a visual level, and adjust bottom then add second screw.
Visual level is what everyone will see as level, even if the door frame is off, it will be in line with it.
Contractor with 30 + years... Simple little things like those shared will effect many other applications in the home.
Shelving, wall pictures etc. Measure them from ceiling or solid floor, or adjacent wall.
Our ability to read a bubble level isn't going to be accurate on small items, and our eyes will see symmetry with walls and ceilings.
Little things learned, and passed along.
May come in handy.
Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. Big help, next question is what size drill bit for the holes. I’m stuck between 1/8 and 7/64.
Thanks! easy instructions. mine connected in minutes. Works perfectly
Amazing video thank you for showing us I can't wait to try it
Thank you clear demo
Thank u
How long did everything take to do? And did you need to do anything with your internet?
Took me longer than normal since I had to film. Maybe 25-40 mins max depending on experience and you only had to connect to the internet
Do you already have to have a door bell before installing the blink camera?
What is the sync module for? Do you even need the module?
I’m confused is this for Alexa or is the ring Alexa ?
QR code was on the back top of my doorbell. One on box said it was the wrong one.
Does it come with a chime
I’ve tried everything but when I ring the doorbell it only sounds outside and not inside the house
Download the app. It sounds on the app
Can you help me, my blink cant live view
Do the bell rings?
Yes
Is there a Live view?
I tried the app.The app asks for a credit card. is there afree app to use??
I believe for recorded footage it needs a card but just general door bell answering it does not
Well did everything and yet it still loose and the screws stripped taking it back had to ripped off the wall 🤬
Even with the dry wall anchors?
Does it need to have wifi
Yes
Mine won’t connect to wifi
What kind of issue or code does it say?
Does it record forever?
Or just record video when someone rings a bell?
@@RahulKlairRAVEROFFICIAL optionsl to put in motion detection settings
So you have to drill it in
I think you could use adhesive if you don’t want to drill a hole, but it’s really preference for how sturdy you want it.
I have to say you are very good looking 💯
He skipped the fact that the device itself doesnt have wifi. So my phone is confused. Its connected to the doorbell camera. Yes. But without wifi. 🤨
It does have wifi. I believe in this video you need to connect to the “wifi” of the for connection purposes then reconnect to wifi. Its kind of standard protocol for smart home devices
For annoying video for somebody trying to set up a camera
