- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. When I lived in Maine I laid out in the sun and it was 56 degrees, I even had my baby in a diaper with me. Now in Florida and I freeze to death at 69 degrees😂

I am guessing that this is from the upper reaches of New England, because I know the places along the I-95 corridor like Hartford, Providence, Boston, etc. saw precious little snow this winter. And rest assured, for as much as you always thank We The Audience for watching and supporting your channel, we are the ones who are really thankful for all the great content you give us to view...unclogging, history lessons, travelogues, sightseeing, survival camping....your videos are simply awesome. That's why in College the Oregon State Beavers 🦫build Dams to hold back the water for the Oregon Ducks 🦆 to Swim in. They then become the Angry Beavers and Mad Ducks when you remove the dam to get rid of the water. Keep up the good work! I hope you stayed warm in the water that day!

I'd love for you to place a marker on the blocked side of your culverts so we can see how much the water recedes - a sharp stick in the bank, for example. Some blue painter's tape on those posts at the water level before you started would have been ideal to show the drop of the water as you unclog.
