Love your videos. Straight to fishing, big fish, and no unnecessary extras. Fantastic as always
The colors were amazing.from the morning sunrise to the spectacular bull
Those were some real chunks and beautiful fish!! Great video ☺️!!
Epic video. Keep up the hard work on the hard water. Tight lines, and I hope you can do a collaboration with Aaron Wiebe in the near future.

Sooo hyped for trout opener here in MN in January. This video is torture cause I wanna be doing this here so bad haha
First ice trout is usually on fire!!!!
I'm just as excited as you! I found a lake up in the boundary waters that has brookies about that same size. Should make for a good camping trip. I'm excited for lakers too, they're even more fun with the fights they put up.
Great footage man. I like observing them in their own environment. Was the last fish a Sculpin? Did you have any brookie for lunch
Think it was a stickle back minnow. And yes I kept some females for supper lol
@@fishinggeeks 👌👌 nice buddy!
You guys are awesome! Big fan have been for a long time
Thank you 😃
"Oh, I have one" "Oh my goodness"the sheer shock/panic/acceptance all at the same time was funny
I couldn’t believe the fish ate right under the ice, and as I’m talking to the camera lol
Hopefully be on some ice this week in Michigan. One of the brown trout lakes has stayed froze over !
How old would those big ones be?And how long of life span..Great footage
They only usually live for 6 years max in this lake. They are stocked every year. These fish would be between 4/5 years old
Is this a walk in lake? never see anything that big where i walk haha.
Brookies are prime table fare. My fave trout to eat.
Yup, super red meat and depending on the lake, usually very good to eat
Is that a @JaySiemens Game of Inches bump board you're using? 👀 Hope he gave you a deal on that! 🤣
It was just flipped over. Jay hasn’t got his hands on this one yet lol
Holy brookies Batman
What lake is this?
I always get hooked up right as I start eating too. Funny how that works
Y r those fish so tall? Our brookies in Wisconsin don't get that thick.
All depends on how much feed and what’s in the lake for them to eat. These fish have unlimited food with no predators. And are stocked trout
Ridiculous In a good way. You’re living the life, soak it in buddy.
Any idea on why the clarity has gone to crap?
Last year was the only year it was clear like that. The murky water is how the lake is normally. At least it’s bin like that the 8 years iv fished it
You sure those aren’t pink salmon? Hahaha, got that big ole hump on em’
I love how the males get the big hump back
I don`t know of brookies being that size in Sask!
Alberta
@@fishinggeeks Ah, Ok, those are dandy sized brookies. Envious!!!
9:06 Did that female go back ?
Nope. That was dinner
