- I’ve finally gotten around to filming a review of the Louis Vuitton Nano Speedy in monogram canvas! I’ve had the Louis Vuitton Nano Speedy for just over 6 months. I’ve used it a fair bit, so I can provide you with some pros and cons of the Nano Speedy, my first impressions, share what wear and tear I've experienced with it over the past few months, what fits inside and also my thoughts on whether or not I think it’s worth the price tag.
The Louis Vuitton Nano Speedy is still a really popular and loved bag because of its cute nano size, and how it resembles the classic Louis Vuitton Speedys. As of now, the Louis Vuitton Speedys are available in a Speedy 25, Speedy 30, Speedy 35, Speedy BB, as well as a Speedy 20 that is coming out soon. A lot of the Speedy bags are available in the monogram, damier ebene and damier azur canvases, as well as empriente leather; so there’s bound to be the right size and material out there for you :)

Glad u were able to get your hands on this. I’m small and petite in size. I compared it to the speedy 20 and surprisingly the 20 feels better. The nano is a tad bit toooo small looking but nonetheless so so soooo cute! 💖
It is a super tiny bag 😅 but it’s sooo adorable haha I just love it for its novelty size 🤣

So cute. I love the Nano Speedy. I have the 25 size. No matter the size, they are bottomless pits. They do make the size 40. At least here in the US, but they are hard to get. ❤

And congrats on getting your hands on it!! 🤗 is it this model or the newer nano speedy model? Just make sure you check the measurements of the organiser before you order because the newer nano speedy is slightly smaller I think. The newer version is the one with the detachable and adjustable straps.

I saw someone use a mini pouchette as a kind of divider in the middle of the bag, also the mini pouchette can hold many of the makeup items or small items.

Hey! 🤗 nope I didn’t condition the bag before spraying it. I’d just recommend covering as much of the canvas as possible with a microfibre cloth when spraying and having a damp microfibre cloth on hand in case you get it on the canvas so you can wipe it off right away. It’s not a huge deal if the spray gets onto the canvas - just make sure you don’t leave out to dry on a white paper towel as it can stain it. I had to learn the hard way 😣

Thank you for the review! I've been eyeing this bag for so long but now it's only on the resale market. I found one in brand new condition for $2400 CAD. Would you still say it's worth it? Too bad i didn't get it 3 years ago :'(
I think it’s still worth it! It’s adorable and it’s a classic so the price will only increase with time. Not to mention this version is discontinued so if it’s in good condition, I’d say snap it up ☺️
Love your reviews! Do you lose any space in the nano from using the base shaper? I’m hesitant on ordering an insert since the bag is already so small, curious of your thoughts!
Thank you so much! 🥰 hmm I guess you do a little, only slightly though. But you could get the thinner felt version to save a bit of space. I think it’s worth the sacrifice because the felt organiser has a slip pocket which helps a bit with organisation inside the bag ☺️
I own this bag and love it so much. But after I upgraded my phone, it doesn’t fit in the bag anymore. Now I’ll be getting the speedy B 20. Still not sure if I’ll sell the nano since it’s too cute to let go.

Slightly, but I don’t think it’s as thin as the mini pochettes. It’s like an in between if that makes sense!
Just want to ask and clarify whether you spray the kiwi on the vachetta strap and handle? If so, it doesn’t darken it or leave marks? Thanks so mich
Hi there! Yes, I sprayed it directly onto the straps and handles (I would recommend covering as much of the canvas as you can and having a damp microfibre cloth handy in case you get any on the canvas so you can wipe it off right away). When you spray it, the vachetta leather will look dark (because it’s wet) but it will fade and return to normal as the spray dries ☺️

I just got this bag Today and it is so small. Did size change after they switch to removable strap?
Unfortunately the newer nano speedy with the detachable and adjustable strap is slightly smaller 😕 I did a video comparing it with this version of the nano speedy if you’re interested. (Spoiler, I much prefer this original nano speedy!)

Do you spray on the bag itself?? Or just the handles and how often
Just the handles and bits with vachetta leather. I haven’t sprayed it again since and probably wouldn’t recommend spraying it again as it may pick up dirt after wear. My handles have an even patina and haven’t felt the need to respray them ☺️
What spray is it? How often would I spray the bag
It’s called Kiwi Extreme Protector. You can also use Apple Garde spray if that’s available. I’ve only sprayed the handles once when I first got it and they’ve held up well since!

What do I use
Oh no. I’ve seen another water repellent spray from Woolworths - Maseur Footcare Weather Guard which is made for leather shoes and handbags. I still recommend doing a small test patch on another piece of leather/another bag if available or on a small part of the bag before spraying it everywhere. And make sure to cover the canvas if you can or wipe it with a microfibre cloth (not a paper towel) immediately if you get it on the canvas. I made a whole video about this on my channel 😅
Hi, how did you apply the spray without getting any on the hardware?
Hello! I did my best to cover it with wash tape (not regular tape) so it didn’t leave a sticky residue. I also recommend having a microfibre cloth on hand in case the spray gets on the canvas or hardware do you can easily wipe it off. Don’t do what I did and let the spray residue dry on anything else but the leather parts 😅

Definitely! It’s super cute and goes with everything. The only thing to be careful of is the vachetta leather. An alternative bag I’d recommend from LV is the Alma BB in Damier Ebene - it has the treated brown leather so it’s more carefree and perfect as their first designer bag 😊

I actually got it from calling the client services line. I was really lucky in that they could put me on a waitlist for it back in November last year, and I got a call from them in February this year saying that they got one in that I could purchase ☺️

How much is it?
I purchased it for $1,590 AUD at the start of 2021. However they no longer make this exact model. The new nano speedy that LV sell now is $2,550 AUD.
Where did you get it from its out of stock it’s so annoying help??
I managed to get it by calling the client services number. I tried a number of times and spoke to different people as I found some would tell me different things. Just keep trying and expressing your interest and they may be able to put you on the waitlist ☺️
