I had exactly same Prada bag and I sold it. I feel they don’t have very good quality of the leather. Those four corners show wear and tear very quickly. I always love the Chloe bag but something is holding on me. Total agree with you Louis Vuitton bag. It is not very practical bag. My biggest regret is I sold my Chanel mini square. Pro tip: Don't wear luxury brands at work. First: it may hamper salary increase plans for you because Management would think you don't need money. Second: there will always be colleagues who will get envious/jealous of your stuff. Some might even be tempted to steal or just put you down.

Speedy 30 in the classic is my all-time fav bag ever! I’m opposite of you...once about 3 years ago I made the mistake of purchasing the Bandouliere version and boy did I regret it. So much so, I sold it after a short while. For me, Speedy is not meant to have a strap and looked silly on me with this big bag jutting out on the side when I tried it cross body. It was just awkward. Love the Siena, Turenne and many other strap bags though. Speedy is a top handle bag for sure IMO. Nice video

I had the classic speedy and realized in no time I need the speedy B! I luckily bought the classic used so I didn’t invest a ton. I was able to gift it to my daughter n law and get the speedy B new! I love it so much more! No regrets☺️ You should sell it and get the one you want. You will definitely use it a lot! I come from a small town and it’s hard to use a luxury bag here but my son paid for quite a bit of mine so I wear it with pride💕it’s so special to me it will be my forever bag :) LV is going to be a slippery slope for sure😆 I have a wallet and agenda now!

Just try to put a strap on the speedy! I have a speedy 30 DE just like yours and I usually put a strap when I need my hands free. It doesn’t look so clean as the bandolier but it gets the job done :)
Good idea! Just be careful not to carry it when it’s too heavy as I’ve heard it can damage the handles overtime but every once in a while it’s definitely a good alternative! ☺️
I have a few items than I don't use often but im scare to let them go and I never gonna find them again so I never sold anything. Toiletry 26, kirigami escale collection, 2 key pouches DE, monogram I don't reach them often but I decide to keep them, love them, and I don't want to regret sell them.🤗
You literally only had one real regret.... I have the mini pochette and speedy and they’re literally my fav .... the Prada bag situation, I just wish you wasn’t embarrassed to wear it.... the ppl at your office probably barely notice the bag and it was all in your head.... it’s not flashy at all
Omg I felt the same way about some of my bags because I worked at a charity/non-profit. I felt so weird showing up to work with my luxury items or hiding my wallet sometimes. I don’t regret my purchases and you shouldn’t either. You worked so hard for your pieces so you should be proud of that! No regrets lady! Also please don’t sell your pieces. I found that I always regretted it afterwards because our tastes change and sometimes we may wear a certain bag more than others. For the speedy 30 I got the Bandoulière adjustable strap. I know this is probably bad for buckle of the bag maybe? but it’s not heavy when I carry it anyway for me to be concerned. Just a suggestion. 🤗

I can totally relate to buying your dream bag and then feeling uncomfortable about wearing it to work. I have sold my neverfull because of that and then ended up buying it again a year later. I still don’t take it to work, but wear it over the weekends and evenings. I still get a lot of use out of it without feeling out of place.

I bought the Ralph Lauren version of the double zip in blush. Very similar function without the luxury price. I wouldn’t wear luxury to the office either. Clothing is a form of communication that says U belong or not. I never would wear luxury to my office for that same reason.Sometimes luxury backfires and you are perceived as shallow because you’re spending thousands on a handbag rather than investing the money.

So agree with how you felt self conscious about your Prada bag! I would never carry my neverfull to work because I work in technology and no one (LITERALLY NO ONE) would carry a bag that “flashy”. However now that I’m working from home I enjoy my luxury items more now in a way?! Also PLEASE DONT SELL YOUR SPEEDY 🤣 I had a speedy b 25 in the monogram but I sold it because of wear and tear. My bosses and managers have never carried designer bags, but I always have and always will 😛🤓 Do they get jealous? Yep. But some people just need an excuse to hate, and managers invariably tend to be those people 🤣🤣🤣 One of my managers was very fun, she never used to be into luxury but she fell in love with my stuff and I inspired her to start her own collection 😅 She says I lured her over to the dark side! My point is, if the bag makes you happy, don’t care what others think. If they ask you about it, just say it was a great pre loved deal or a gift from your family etc. if that makes you feel better. That way they won’t think you’re flaunting your money, but you have something nice that you cherish, why leave it sitting in the wardrobe? It’s a beautiful bag, absolutely perfect for work. And it’s so understated, not shouty at all.

I used to feel uncomfortable wearing my designer bags in certain environments. Now it doesn’t bother me at all. I bought my bags for me and no one else but I do understand what you mean about the work place though. I have the mini boite bag. My hubby for it for me last Christmas. It’s the cutest bag but not for everyday. In the summer time I hardly carry anything with me so it’s perfect for then. I’m obsessed with mini bags. Not going to lie he even said he bought it because it was cute. I’m thinking about getting the next size up.

I feel the same way about the LV DE speedy 30. I wish I bought the bandouliere version and thought about selling mine often. I purchased mine almost 10 years ago so the prices have gone up so much I don’t feel it’s worthwhile to get the bandouliere one.

I’ve considered that but I’ve heard that can actually ruin the bag because it’s not meant to be carried that way and because the speedy 30 is so large and can hold a lot, the weight distribution would ruin the handle area 🙁

I bought the LV speedy 25B but I actually use it top handle because I thought it looks bulky on me cross body, also it looks very classic carrying it top handle. And oh dear I work on a construction site with mostly men, I strut in with my LV speedy and I don’t give a fuck what people think 🤣🤣🤣 it does go straight into my drawer otherwise it gets covered in dust

for your speedy 30 go ahead and get a long chocolate brown leather strap from dressupyourpurse.com; i need to get one for my speedy 25 damier ebene too. you can hook it to the square things on the purse. i want to say the strap is about 35 to 45.00

I had the classic speedy and realized in no time I need the speedy B! I luckily bought the classic used so I didn’t invest a ton. I was able to gift it to my daughter n law and get the speedy B new! I love it so much more! No regrets☺️ You should sell it and get the one you want. You will definitely use it a lot! I come from a small town and it’s hard to use a luxury bag here but my son paid for quite a bit of mine so I wear it with pride💕it’s so special to me it will be my forever bag :) LV is going to be a slippery slope for sure😆 I have a wallet and agenda now!

Just try to put a strap on the speedy! I have a speedy 30 DE just like yours and I usually put a strap when I need my hands free. It doesn’t look so clean as the bandolier but it gets the job done :)
Good idea! Just be careful not to carry it when it’s too heavy as I’ve heard it can damage the handles overtime but every once in a while it’s definitely a good alternative! ☺️

You literally only had one real regret.... I have the mini pochette and speedy and they’re literally my fav .... the Prada bag situation, I just wish you wasn’t embarrassed to wear it.... the ppl at your office probably barely notice the bag and it was all in your head.... it’s not flashy at all

Omg I felt the same way about some of my bags because I worked at a charity/non-profit. I felt so weird showing up to work with my luxury items or hiding my wallet sometimes. I don’t regret my purchases and you shouldn’t either. You worked so hard for your pieces so you should be proud of that! No regrets lady!
Also please don’t sell your pieces. I found that I always regretted it afterwards because our tastes change and sometimes we may wear a certain bag more than others. For the speedy 30 I got the Bandoulière adjustable strap. I know this is probably bad for buckle of the bag maybe? but it’s not heavy when I carry it anyway for me to be concerned. Just a suggestion. 🤗

Oh I’ve thought about doing that too! I’ve heard it can damage the handles but I think it would be okay if you’re just using it like that occasionally and not overstuffing it where it’s super heavy. It’s definitely a great way to utilise it more! 😄❤️

I can totally relate to buying your dream bag and then feeling uncomfortable about wearing it to work. I have sold my neverfull because of that and then ended up buying it again a year later. I still don’t take it to work, but wear it over the weekends and evenings. I still get a lot of use out of it without feeling out of place.

Ahh my heart sank a little when you brought up the mini pochette but so glad to hear that you bought it again. Also, my mom & I were debating on the boite chapeau but didn't know if it was worth that much money for something so small. It looks soo cute though, but definitely not practical. And I totally agree about the speedy! My mom bought one many many years ago and recently passed it on to me 😅so your future kids will be very thankful haha

I bought the Ralph Lauren version of the double zip in blush. Very similar function without the luxury price. I wouldn’t wear luxury to the office either. Clothing is a form of communication that says U belong or not. I never would wear luxury to my office for that same reason.Sometimes luxury backfires and you are perceived as shallow because you’re spending thousands on a handbag rather than investing the money.

My bosses and managers have never carried designer bags, but I always have and always will 😛🤓 Do they get jealous? Yep. But some people just need an excuse to hate, and managers invariably tend to be those people 🤣🤣🤣 One of my managers was very fun, she never used to be into luxury but she fell in love with my stuff and I inspired her to start her own collection 😅 She says I lured her over to the dark side! My point is, if the bag makes you happy, don’t care what others think. If they ask you about it, just say it was a great pre loved deal or a gift from your family etc. if that makes you feel better. That way they won’t think you’re flaunting your money, but you have something nice that you cherish, why leave it sitting in the wardrobe? It’s a beautiful bag, absolutely perfect for work. And it’s so understated, not shouty at all.

I carry my luxury bags to work. My colleague's at work just assume it's fake and I let them believe that, and when they ask, I just tell them it's not authentic. This way am able to enjoy using my bags to work.

I used to feel uncomfortable wearing my designer bags in certain environments. Now it doesn’t bother me at all. I bought my bags for me and no one else but I do understand what you mean about the work place though. I have the mini boite bag. My hubby for it for me last Christmas. It’s the cutest bag but not for everyday. In the summer time I hardly carry anything with me so it’s perfect for then. I’m obsessed with mini bags. Not going to lie he even said he bought it because it was cute. I’m thinking about getting the next size up.

I feel the same way about the LV DE speedy 30. I wish I bought the bandouliere version and thought about selling mine often. I purchased mine almost 10 years ago so the prices have gone up so much I don’t feel it’s worthwhile to get the bandouliere one.

You can clip a strap to the handle hardware of that speedy 30 ....
I’ve considered that but I’ve heard that can actually ruin the bag because it’s not meant to be carried that way and because the speedy 30 is so large and can hold a lot, the weight distribution would ruin the handle area 🙁

I bought the LV speedy 25B but I actually use it top handle because I thought it looks bulky on me cross body, also it looks very classic carrying it top handle. Thank you! I’ve thought about that but I worry it’ll put a lot of strain on the buckles on the handles because the speedy 30 is quite large and can get quite heavy and it’s not made to be used as a crossbody/shoulder bag.

for your speedy 30 go ahead and get a long chocolate brown leather strap from dressupyourpurse.com; i need to get one for my speedy 25 damier ebene too. you can hook it to the square things on the purse. i want to say the strap is about 35 to 45.00
