Ugh I love this video! I actually had no idea that LV remade the Palm Springs! I remember hunting mine down last year haha. Wish I waited for the remade one with the exposed zipper. Love it either way tho! I definitely want to add a Speedy to my collection. Either looking at the Nano Speedy or LV

I have a feeling they would because it’s a flaw for a lot of people, including myself. If they do, I’ll sell my Speedy Nano to purchase the one with removable straps. 😆

Interesting assessment of the psm. My handle is exactly in the middle and I have a MIF. I know alot of people complain about the zipper but mine is so smooth that when I zip/unzip, it doesn’t touch the lip. I ran wax paper through the zip multiple times when I purchased it a few years ago. Thanks for your comparison. I have both but would choose the psm any day
Omg is running wax paper thru a zip some sort of hack to help smoothen it out?? 😧 and you got a MIF psm!! 💕👌🏼 but yes the nano speedy is really just a cute bag to look at but bc it’s so mini getting in and out of the bag is quite the hassle lol
Yes, it works great without leaving any residue. I use it on all my bags When I get them and don’t need to reapply

Such a great comparison and I totally agree with you on their practicality. My first LV was the Palm Springs mini and it was a special gift from my boyfriend. He knew how long I searched for this bag when it came out and how unlucky I was. When he saw it in store he bought it as an Xmas surprise. I’ve been a happy camper since. And I love how cute the nano speedy is but I don’t think it’s very practical however your video shows me it packs a punch. I have added it to my wishlist and I’m stalking that website now 🙈

So cute! I thought about the psm but my deal breaker is not being able to use the front pocket 😭😭... That pocket alone is "worth" $250 of the value that I'm not using... If I'm going to pay 2000 I need to have the FULL functionality of the bag lol
I can totally agree with that! I wish that with the update of the exposed zipper they also would have fixed the front pocket to make it actually somewhat useable or at the very least added a back pocket to the bag!

I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! And it honestly depends! If you’re looking at it from a collectors standpoint definitely either an alma or speedy. Nothing is more lv classic. But for practicality I would recommend a neverfull but I do understand how that bag “everyone has it” so it kind of loses its appeal. But it really is such a great everyday bag. But those are just my opinions!

Any advice on how I could get my hands on the PSM or what locations usually might carry them in the LA area? And is there any differences between Made in France & Made in the U.S.A.? Thank you! I almost lost hope, but what I did to get mine was save the PSM page as a tab, and just refresh it every other hour of the day. You’d be surprised how much they restock every other day!!!! I got mine at a pretty random time (4-5pm PST).

Hi Maggy! New subscriber here 🥰 I recently just got my hands on a Palm Springs Mini and I’ve noticed when I put the straps together, the little thing that slides to make sure the straps stay together and doesn’t fling around is a little bit too tight, to the point where I have a difficult time trying to slide it up. Have you had a problem with this? My bag is brand new and was made last week so I’m not sure if I have to play around with it to loosen it up? Please let me know!! I’m not sure whether to contact my CA about this or not 😰
I don’t know about other people’s but mine were stiff in the beginning as well! Mine have definitely loosened up after adjusting it around 5-7x just moving it/pushing it up. But be gentle you don’t want to rip the string either! & hehe thanks for joining the fam 💕💕💕

I think I’ll just keep trying to move it up and down so it can loosen up 🙂 After you mentioned how the top handle is not totally in the center for ones made in the USA, I grabbed mine right away to look at it 😂 I don’t mind at all, I’m just so happy I was finally able to get it hehe.

I keep taking nano speedy off my wishlist, and add it back. It is so cute, but cannot fit a phone easily. Palms Spring Mini is much better, fits more stuff. Only the price is almost double.

I like the size of the nano speedy but hate that they have vachetta and the fixed straps.. as you mentioned if they have other designs more people will be tempted to buy it as some of us are damier or reverse monogram fan. I still love the Palm Springs mini as i find it cuter than the speedy. However, the nano speedy is much more affordable and with the price increase from the PSM recently, it is increasingly not worth it to buy now.

Im not going to! It only bothers me slightly that it’s not perfectly in the middle but everything else about the psm is perfect for me so I’m going to keep it 😌
maggyxchuu im waiting for mines to come in idk where its going to be made in so im nervous but i feel like now that i know about the handle, its going to bother me sm but im so glad you mentioned it. Im either going to have to get over it or not get it and wait to find a another one ugh😭
I hope your PSM is in solid condition and quality. I’ve seen a video of some recent PSM’s at the rodeo drive location and they were so inconsistent smh. My advice is if something about it bothers you RETURN/EXCHANGE. Don’t settle for less than perfect!!

I have a made in USA PSM and I really don’t mind it. It’s made really well. I’ve gotten a few pieces made in France before that was aligned really bad. It just varies from one craftsmanship to another.
In france the palm spring 1500 and the nano is 810 euros omg i want both but the nano is too hard to find

I do wonder why the handle is not set in the middle on a USA made PSM vs a France made PSM , I would really love to hear from LV as to why that is but my guess is we never will lol . Mine is made in France and it is set more towards the middle , I wouldn’t worry about that issue either girl , it’s not going to affect anything with the bag down the road , having the handle placed a little more towards the back , It definitely isn’t something most people would even notice lol . I did see differences with my USA front tab vs my France front tab as far as the imprinting issue , I even showed pics and talk about it in my new version PSM video . It would just be nice for LV to be a bit more consistent no matter where the bags are made . I just bought a Damier Ebene Iena MM tote and it’s made in USA and i am like you , I could care less where it’s made and care more about the quality these days with LV . The speedy nano is not something that’s for me , so I would choose the PSM hands down ! Best mini , crossbody , backpack style bag EVER ! Great comparison video ! Always love your videos ! Thank you so much for watching 🥺💕 & yes exactly as long as the quality and materials are the same across the board from Europe to USA then I don’t mind personally. But I do want to know WHY all the made in USA measurements are different. Like was it on purpose to differentiate it or just an overall measurement error on LV’s part.

Made in USA always has issues, thats why I look for Made in France. Sometimes they even have different hardware than European ones
Ugh see I never thought it made that much of a difference before, that it was purely a location thing. But after actually looking into it... now I’m more apprehensive to purchase made in USA pieces 🥺
