- This is a very realistic weekly grooming session with me and one of my rabbits! No sugar coat and all of my others besides one are a lot easier to handle- bur nonetheless I’m sure you’ll fall in love with Yogi and I can’t wait to introduce my other rabbits to you in the coming weeks!

And yes- Yogi is rather incredible. I’m hoping to have a program for this color in the future when I can get my hands on an appropriate partner for him too- he is gorgeous to look at day after day and sable steel babies are the cutest ever!!
This is the best tutorial I have seen! This is real! I swear people grab their most docile rabbit to groom on video. My buns are young and not exactly trained yet so it is never like the videos lol. They definitely act more like your beautiful yogi! I find also I like the flea comb to go through mine. I have a really hard time getting their underside. I have the best luck with that football hold but I did it a bit different and I think the way you do it would be better. Awesome thank you for the realness. I also didn't know you could over groom them... I may be guilty of that lol.
I am having a hard time doing their nails they freak right out 😬 so there are only a few nails done so far.
Great tip on the family jewels I didn't think about that.
Awww Elisha I appreciate your comments so much!! When the buns are young I recommend grooming more often and only for a few minutes at a time. They’ll get used to it but you do have to be firm!
I’ll do a detailed video on all my holds for you soon. Are you Elisha with a long i or Eleeeesha 😆? I’d love to give you a shoutout in that video! I have some holds that are fairly serious business that may help you with those nails!
@@edensangora6825 great tip! Thanks I'll do that, more often for shorter periods of time. I agree to the being on the firm side. I train other animals and rewarding undesired behavior is a no no.
I would love to see how you blow them out. I have only tried once and let's just say it didn't go so well. Especially for young ones how do you get them used to it.

Just an update! When I did the football hold with his ears held in my armpit, amazing I got all of his nails clipped!! Also found some matt's under his legs that I wasn't able to brush out before. Got them all cut out and now I can brush him much easier. He is still a Challenge but at least I can keep him maintained. I feel bad but he still loves to cuddle me after so I know he isn't too mad at me lol So incredibly grateful for your support. My girls are so much easier to groom lol 😂

Hi, Thank you for your informative video. I just wanted to know how often do you clip their nails? Every month...every 2 months...I have an English Angora , he's 6 months old. I groom him the same way with his ears tucked between my legs. I do it quickly everyday just so that he gets use to it. It's a lot easier, and he knows he gets the treat afterwards so he stays very still. So much nicer, and no one is stressed 🥰
I have a older angora,she was owned by someone who did not groom her very much at all , she is difficult to groom ,but I keep going, she gets so mad at me ,that when I’m done she will pee right on floor,beside the litter box.lol I just clean it up and put it her litter box . She looks like yours

How many angoras do you have now?
5 full grown at the moment but Im planning to keep 3 back from my current litter. I currently have 11 babies!!
