- A behind the scenes look at a series of ‘printed dailies’ shot between April and June 1976 at Elstree Studios, UK on the Death Star set of the original 1977 Star Wars movie (A New Hope).
Some shots were filmed with three cameras for maximum coverage so director George Lucas could have lots of choices while putting the sequence together during editorial postproduction.

One of the best channels on UA-cam! 👌
Thank you so much Simon, that really means a lot. I'm glad you like the channel.
Inspirational shoot at Elstree
This is incredible footage.
Thank you.
I love the original STAR WARS.
Puts All of the new stuff to shame.
Glad you like the footage Mark, you're very welcome 😁👍
I love it at 1:20 where they shout "Jack!" for Jack Pervis in the power Droid suit
The beginnings of the greatest movie trilogy ever made.
I totally agree.

About 15-20 years ago, I got a bootleg video called “deleted magic” that pieced together every bit of behind-the-scenes footage from ANH known at that time. There’s been so much since then…would love to see someone update that same concept!
That video sounds great. Even now, people are still finding unseen Star Wars footage from the 70s. I'm trying to collate it all together into one place, so we can all enjoy it.
This is a goodie, super rare! :)
Glad you like it Paul 😁👍
Where in the world did you get your hands on all of these fantastic outtakes? Unbelievable.
I've always wondered why Han pulled Leia down the Falcon's ramp as she tried to run up it?
Por las apuradas
That was awesome!
I love how most of the stormtrooper extras are just trying to keep their helmets on.
Once again you out do yourself. Always great stuff. I enjoy your channel very much
Good Journey 🍀
