In the spring of 1976 an intrepid film crew embarked on a journey that spanned light years and would become folklore within the realms of popular culture as it is today. Their task was to shoot a ground-breaking space fantasy movie, originally entitled “The Star Wars”. The rest is history.
Yet its production is a story as entertaining and exciting as the film itself. The gruelling, nearly catastrophic 2 week location shoot in Tunisia, was tackled head on by the crew. Overcoming obstacles - storms, crises, technical limitations, high stress and bitter disappointment, all led to the production of one of the most outstanding and innovative movies of all time.
This fascinating fly-on-the-wall video is unscripted and has no dialogue, putting the viewer in the enviable position of onlooker, without the distractions of a narrator.
The content is a collation of scattered source material, all brought together once more.
