I’m in my early 50’s ..I’ve given up the pretence of getting along with ill educated people, it’s condescending to them. I have about 20/30 guys work for me and the mindset is primitive. Give them a few drinks ..and ya have to listen to nonsensical drivel. The pretence they like you is to get something out of you, if it’s expedite to do so. The reality of living in the Philippines.
@JosephMiller-nd8om for sure that's always here brother, cause sometimes it's better you fix yourself than go in the hospital, and I have cheap solar fans and cheap solar lights for brown outs, I'm gravy single enjoying my own company
Seen one "bolo challenge event" started between a guy who just got out of Bilibid, 10 years for selling the debils lettuce, & his "friend" who did the buy bust. First night out he's started this drunk blue that has 200+ people gathered, does some bolo damage to the matron of the establishment, out of the shadows a yellow shirt Tanod steps & despatches the guy point blank. They throw a sheet over him & take the injured woman to hospital. In the morning the local PNP call in CDIG from Manila, by the time they arrive this sheet hasn't moved in 14 hours. His expiration certificate said the cause was "heart failure". Nobody saw anything.
Sad part is that you didn't take videos to upload... Reminds me of the adventures of Sinbad when they got to the island and started fighting sword to sword with the skeletons 😅
😁you know how to take care of yourself and your family. Fighting in the family..usually on a Sunday afternoon/ evening after a heavy session on the redhorse..luckily nobody ended up split in half and even luckier..nobody had a gun..otherwise there's carnage..
While I enjoyed the story, you should probably be careful airing their dirty laundry. Once the alcohol wears off, they may realize they're family but a foreigner is extending their embarrassment to a lot more people. Not to mention, they know where you live.
That's a funny story. I just told my Piney gf about this story and she laughed and said, whenever people chip in for a lechon, then, after everyone finishes eating, if there's any lechon remaining it gets divided out. The amount of lechon people get should correspond to the amount they chipped in to buy it. So maybe that was what started the fight lol
