@@chrism6347 They're overreacting about AEW. But it's been the best thing since WCW.
In fact I would like Tony Khan to buy just WCW. Bring it back to TNT/TBS.
Vince McMahon just put it in the shelf.
In W.E. WCW was just another version of W.E. WCW was special & AEW has that feel to it.

@@chrism6347 yeah I think so too, in the grand scheme of things they're still a pretty new company and TK has no booking experience so you've gotta expect these sorts of things.

@@jimbo_1312 What did the Booker did for TNA? They didn't know who to push, had lots of brawling that I hated, and older stars were effecting the young talent...
Bischoff was there, Cornette was there, Russo was there...
Only good Booker was Dutch Mantell that helped the Women's division.
      TNA had lots of potential.
Yet those are the available booker's, and creative?
Tony Khan has a lot to learn, with more than just booking. So he's got a load of work.
Yet some fans complain, mostly W.E fans.
They expect AEW to do better, but if it's HHH who has experience, they say Rome wasn't build in a day
The W.E. is a well oiled machine.
AEW doesn't have that advantage, even WCW was built with the help of the NWA....
      Major differences...

Vince’s ego killed wrestling. With no competition, WWE went down hill and they reverted back to that cartoony PG crap that was getting them killed by WCW. When he bought it, should have given it to his children to run.

The more I think about it, the more it was mostly Steiner's fault. He got the biggest reaction of the night at Survivor Series, in Vince's holy ground of MSG. He was a made man after that. Then he blew up one minute into the Royal Rumble match and started, literally, falling on his ass and doing the same move ten times because he had no idea how to work a WWE main event match. I would have buried him if I were Triple H. Then again, he should have never been thrown into the main event like that. The whole situation is one giant failure for everyone involved.

    • @JMFSpike
      @JMFSpike Рік тому +3

WCW never would have worked because of the way Vince is, and also because damn near everyone in WWE hated WCW with a passion. They didn't really have anything against ECW (because they were never a threat), so they did eventually give ECW it's own show and PPV's. The problem was that Vince wouldn't let ECW be ECW. All of the ECW fans hated the show so much that they don't like to even acknowledge it.

Looking back on it, I think had Scott Steiner probably did temporary retirement when WCW Folded and had taken time to heal up before he came into WWE his time in WWE would have been different but likely Vince felt like HEY WE GOT HIM BETTER USE HIM and Scott doesn't seem like the type of guy who sits at home, lifts weights exercises and does nothing for two years. I mean Scotts still working all over the world in appearances to this day. Really it was the case of unfortunate timing, the acquisition coming at the same time Scott began dealing with heavy injuries
