    De curiozitate. Pe atunci aveai A2 sau A? Ca din cate stiu se poate conduce si la A2

    What's the name of that exhaust?

  • @dudaboss13
    @dudaboss13  10 років тому +2

    It's a generic car final from Borla (I believe it's the XR-1 series, the inlet it's only a bit bigger than the outlet of the collector box, you just need to fit a graphite gasket that takes the slack or to custom build a connecting pipe that would also raise the muffler (I fitted the muffler without a connecting pipe, as a short exhaust, and I had to remove the right side passenger peg, but that doesn't bother me anyway). The only problem? It really is loud... no SPL test and it's not road legal

    Hey, did you have to adjust the brake lever to get the handguards on?

    • @dudaboss13
      @dudaboss13  10 років тому

      can't remember if it interferes with the handguard as I cut my levers shorter anyway... it's possible that you need to grind the tip of the lever, but I see that as a non-issue, cheers :)

      @dudaboss13  10 років тому

      vezi ca am raspuns si mai sus in legatura cu toba, pretul nu mi-l amintesc dar cred ca e undeva pe la 100-150Euro (doar finala, cotul trebuie facut special la un atelier de evacuari ceva)

    Your speedometer and rev counter does not work, why?? :(

    • @dudaboss13
      @dudaboss13  10 років тому

      Mine is a 1991 :D
      This is me driving relaxed :))
      My speedometer and rev counter are both dead, don't really need them as I use a Trailtech computer (using it also for rally raid navigation)

    KTM plastic handguards, I belive they come standard on 990 ADV, pretty cheap (40 euros in Romania) and good quality plastic (flexible but strong) - I prefer them to aluminium inserted handguards

    Where's the right mirror?

    • @dudaboss13
      @dudaboss13  10 років тому

      don't really need mirrors, nobody is going to overpass me anyway :P
      now really, I usually look over my shoulder anytime I change directions and at the time my right mirror was broken off, I am now using the Doubletake Mirrors from Adventure-Spec (the foldable ones that use RAM mounts)
      Cheers! :)

    • @Timageo
      @Timageo 10 років тому

      Balan Marian as I understand,using this kind of mirror you can look behind as left shoulder as right shoulder, can't you? double side visible mirror?

    • @Timageo
      @Timageo 10 років тому

      Balan Marian One more question. I need advice. I'm going to buy Transalp. What TA is better? TA400, 600(made in Japan), TA650(made in Italy). reliability 's most important thing for me and cheapness. Thanks.

    • @dudaboss13
      @dudaboss13  10 років тому

      it's just a foldable mirror, so you don't break them while off roading, it's not a double sided one, it's just the name they used for their product: www.adventure-spec.com/default/double-take-mirror.html
      In my opinion, the 600 pre 96 (made in japan) it's the best for my needs and also quite cheap (the 400 it's way underpowered for it's weight, the 600 after 96 were made in Europe and they tend to rust more and have lower quality plastics and the 650 it's more road oriented, I don't like it's looks and ergonomics - I'm 180cm in height and my knees hit the top of the gas tank while seated and also while standing in the pegs - and it doesn't have that much more power than the 600, while getting lower miles per gallon)
      All in all, they (both 600 and 650) are really good and reliable bikes, the technology it's old and they are a bit heavy for off road but that doesn't mean they are not fun, and the simpler technology means they are indeed more reliable in real life. They all have some weak points (like the CDI unit on older 600s, the rectifier - a problem for most Hondas, but there are always solutions for these problems and are very well documented on the internet) and you can also improve things like the suspension (either by changing the springs for progressive ones or by changing the shock and front fork if you want to improve things on off road. I hope that my advice helps :P

    that V2 sound... that's porn for my ears... :D so why the hell would I ruin it with boring, sleazy music?
