      Huh? Have you never heard of mineral sunscreen filters, like zinc and titanium dioxide? Plus if you’re concerned about chemicals being “toxic”, you’re more likely to get cancer from the sun than from any chemicals in your sunscreen.

    I have a dermaroller but I’m so scared that I’m going to do something wrong and ruin my skin. I’ve watched your videos on them a few times lol and others as well but I’m still like a little apprehensive. I was someone whom had a damaged skin barrier for a long time and have gotten my skin to a good place. Also up until recently I always had active acne spots on my skin which I know your not supposed to use it during that time. Hopefully at some point I will be able to do it and get over my fear. Thanks for the vid James! 💕💕

    Your skin is simply stunning! I've tried a ton of microneedlers BUT the Banisher 2.0 is by far the very best I have ever used. I typically don't like c serums with L-ascorbic acid. I prefer THD ascorbate BUT I really enjoyed their Vit C oil. I also have acne prone skin and it did not break me out. It was perfect after using the Banisher.

    I’ve been looking for a good derma stamp so I’ll be checking out banish for sure. That enzyme mask looked good too. Also I was mostly listening to the video since I’m doing homework and noticed that psycho tone of voice when he mentioned sunscreen. Had to scroll back to watch that part. Thanks for the recommendation James.

    Thank you for talking about how to properly use clay masks and how to make them less drying. I sort of figured that out on my own years ago, but I truly wish there had been someone like to you explain that for me then. It could have saved me so much skin irritation and frustration. However, I never see anyone talking about tips like that.

      You just need to stamp it on there as normal and apply the Banish oil after. Just please note that there should be no active acne, including blackheads and whiteheads before you use the Banisher on that area, as you will only spread bacteria if you stamp it on there without treating them first.

    Hey James! Just kind of wanted to share this with you and get your thoughts on it! Dr Dray is a dermatologist on UA-cam, and she made a video on micro needling over a year ago. Basically she mentions in her video the concerns of micro needling without the care of a professional as well as the risks of applying serums (particularly Vitamin C) right after the microneedling process. Let me know what you think of this!

    • @JamesWelsh
      @JamesWelsh  5 років тому +2

      Hey Sarah!! I 100% agree with her. I think i talk about this is my previous microneedling video. I think it's super important to stress how to use a tool like this at home and how to do it safely and cleanly and how to properly sterilise your tool. The Banisher however would be quite different a microneedling tool a dermatologist would use in their clinic. I'm guessing it would be a lot more powerful with a lot more needles?! And also read about using vitamin C after microneedling too so I have been avoiding it, opting for purely a HA serum and simple moisturiser after. I personally feel, if you use it properly, it's simple and safe to use. But unfortunately theres a lot of 'beauty gurus' doing crazy things with them on the internet / instagram!

    • @SarahLeaf

      naaa i did a hair video a few weeks back and didnt get many views. I will ignore that bit of grey hair because going grey doesnt bother me. It absolutely puzzles me why guys get so upset about a few grey hairs. I do dye them.....but theyre natural, theres nothing you can do about them....so i dont rush to cover them up

    Does anyone know why does my skin feel super tight when i get out the shower and have cleansed, but when I’ve finished the rest of my routine and moisturised i become oily later in the day but still feel quite tight when i smile/yawn etc 😣

    • @danielcoda4787
      @danielcoda4787 5 років тому +1

      the products you're using are too harsh for your skin hence why the tightness. try using hydrating cleansers with low ph and toners directed towards oily skin that doesn't contain alcohol. I recommend dr. belmeurs clarifying line, it's amazing for oily skin but still very hydrating.

    • @JamesWelsh
      @JamesWelsh  5 років тому +1

      Daniel Coda is right. Your skin may also be dehydrated. Try applying toner writhing 10 seconds of getting out the shower. You need to add hydration back to your skin. I have a video all about dry and dehydrated skin :)

      James Welsh Thank you both for your responses! I am currently using your “Broke AF skincare routine” as I am a uni student who doesn’t have a huge budget, are those products okay to use or should i be using something else?

    • @JamesWelsh
      @JamesWelsh  5 років тому +2

      i would drop the cetaphil cleanser and the st ives scrub! I would use a very basic cleanser from ceravee, then use an AHA 2 times a week to exfoliate instead!

      Even cheap Chinese dermoroller works same for me

    • @JamesWelsh
      @JamesWelsh  5 років тому +3

      As I mentioned quite a few times in this video, I’ve been using banish for years even before they sponsored this video. The problem with cheap dermarollers that you can buy from amazon etc, it’s the needles can sometimes be blunt or even made from a material that you can’t keep sterile and clean.

    • @sulafaa9693
      @sulafaa9693 5 років тому

      Honestly banish works. I’ve been using It for about 3 months and my skin has changed dramatically. I’ve tried so many cleansers, masks, and moisturizers and Banish is the only thing that really tames my acne.

    • @pixelseagull3126
      @pixelseagull3126 5 років тому

      Sulafa If you need more care for acne try skin cleansing procedures in dermatological clinics or else where. It really helps, because they clean acne spots that have a potential to break out in future. It costs about 15$ and they even recommend active ingredients if you ask. And you know who can recommend you products with these active ingredients.
