Thy Name is Jimmy You have to say they're precious every time. If you called them worthless then they'd have daddy issues, get piercings, tattoos, or even dye their hair! Oh, and fight the father instead (those little rascals). I mean, if you say they're precious every time, they may be spoiled, harass you for money, steal you're car, wear douche bag sweaters, but at least they'll fight FOR and not AGAINST him.
Jake Taylor And he needed to stop playing like ass. "Hmm, instead of playing the blue affliction and killing the technician with a PO'd 1/1, I'll just play double Succubus!"
throughout all the chromaggus fights i was practically yelling at the screen "Trump! What are you doing!?!? You gotta get that red brood affliction out of your hand! You're taking too much damage from it! Stop relying on RNG and actually spend the mana to get them out of your hand!"
For completing heroic you should get a 5 10\10 Windfury, cannot be targeted by spells and hero power, immune to BGH. Gain + 1\2 at the end and start of your turn. Heal as much as damage dealt. Restore 5 health to your Hero.
Anyone having trouble with Chromaggus- I played the heroic version twice and won twice with a super slow Warlock deck. Demonfire, Demonheart and Mistress of Pain is the neccesary combo. From there you gain a load of health all the time, and stay in the game. Run tons of AoE, and obviously all the discard effect cards. You don't hit Chromaggus at all though, always trade across. Even a 10/10 into a 1/1. The real trick is being super defensive for a turn ~10 win. Both times my turn 9 was to play 3 afflictions (could be all green tbh). Turn 10 to Alexstraza (it works for 45 damage, ezgame) and then do 15 damage in the same turn. Make sure to chip off any armour he has with high priority past ~turn 6 or so. In terms of the afflictions to discard: Green: Don't discard at all unless you're setting up for the kill. You're not really that happy about it being discarded by effect either. Red: Discard this unless you out-heal it. You need to live a long time and stay above 15 or the 9/9 will wreck you. Blue: Must discard instantly. Bronze: Must discard instantly. Black: Would be nice, but often there are better plays. A lot of his cards are mediocre anyway, so dealing with two Fairy Dragons isn't much effort.
Zach Nelton i dont think a cardback that doesnt look that nice is worth all that time, especially since you have to pay blizzard to have the cards to beat most of them, i think they should give you gold cards since it is so difficult especially since then when your like me and cant beat hagen the unclean you at least have a gold version of the rest of the cards
I don't think the card back is meant to be amazing looking. It's supposed to show off how good of a player you are, like "look how good I am I beat all those heroic bosses" that's how I see it, at least Also I just like collecting card backs
I used Priest with Chromaggus, buffed Deathlord to prevent incoming damage (Chromaggus doesn't have direct removal) and Auchenai Soulpriest (green Cromaggus card deals 6 dmg per turn to him - just need to collect couple of those and play the others)
I just played a gimmicky buff priest for heroic Chromaggus. Just hard muliganed (conceded) until I won with turn 2 Lightwell, turn 3 Power Word Shield + Divine Spirit on the lightwell, turn 4 inner fire + play the blue dragon corruption card. From there just keep healing myself and lightwell, played and buffed some Deathlords, always played out the Blue, Bronze, and Black corruption card (and Reds if i had more than 1 of them), and used silence/hard removal to keep his board clear. Only once I'd survived to his fatigie did I start burning the green corruptions
Seems like Swipe's damage is taken into account in the same order as the animation, first the main target and then the rest. That could matter in some cases, as shown in the video.
Why not just use a rogue miracle deck against Chromaggus? He's giving you free spells. Just prep up and combo the shit out of everything to get a really strong Van Cleef. From what we saw, he has no actual hard removal. Just things a dragon would do, like claw or swipe. If you're really lucky, you could get a 15/15 Van Cleef out on turn 3.
morgan mango If you get lucky (which is what miracle rogue relies on) you can start with or eventually get two Preparations. Along with a Van Cleef, on turn 3, you can Prep > Throw away Affliction > Prep > Throw Away Affliction > Anything else that costs 0 I guess > Van Cleef. That'll get you at least a 10/10 Van Cleef, more if you have things like Wisps or Backstabs. I got the Van Cleef stat bonus thing wrong which is why I said 15/15 before, but that is how miracle rogue deck would go perfectly. Whether or not this would actually win you the game is another thing, this is just a theoretical play.
For this Chromaggus fight: What he played before on Normal was pretty good, but I feel like the better deck for Epic would revolve around reducing spell cost with mage while freezing up harmful damage coming at you. This would require the right cards right off the bat to make it really effective, but should be easier, I think. (Assuming you can reduce the cost of those spells he throws at you.)
Looking at Chromaggus, Has anyone tried him with a priest deck? Auchenai soul priest while holding the one that "heals" him every round might be good...
They really should've given heroic Razorgore eggs attack so they'd at least be a BIT harder to clear, and/or make his ability summon more than 1. Like "Give all eggs +1/+1, then summon two" or something. I dunno he just felt way too easy.
28:57 I'm dying here trump XD final verdict: ok, for the love of god, why play a deck with tons of small minions when you know he has flame strike and will randomly get to play it at discount?
And why should we care? It is blatant attention whoring, just like all those similar posts about getting X card on the official forums which I've gotten tired of long time ago. It's spam, it's not relevant to the topic at hand it simply has no place here.
Kinda disappointed they didn't make the obvious nod and wink to those of us who remember Vanilla WoW and make BWL normal mode if you had an Alliance character and heroic if you picked Horde. ;)
Dendarang im willing to bet good money that has never happened. When i said circumstances, i meant how easy it is to prevent him from even getting a singe 7/7. when i read up on the hero power, i thought he would be using cards like power word: Shield.
I would use mill rogue on chromagus since it would be easy to mill him with the card he spawns that makes it so whenever he draws a cards it's double... I didn't think about the rest so pls don't hate me if this plan is stupid ok guys.
they really fucked up on the razor fight. i have watched so many videos on it and no one has managed to hatch an egg even on heroic. i just really want to see what they do
johannes the stalking biscuit 7/3 twilight drakonid on normal, 7/7 on heroic, i stole his eggs whit a priest, and he was kind enough to hach them for me :)
I wish he would show us the cards instead of hovering his mouse on and off each of them. It's like he's intentionally trying to make it so we CAN'T read them. I always have to rewind and try and find a good time to pause if I want to know what any of these boss cards actually say. It's so fucking tedious and he always does, even way back in Naxx. He does this when someone plays a rarely played card too. He'll make sure he's the only one who gets the read the text.
Jack Bandit I think the assumption he's making is that most of the people who watch him play Hearthstone play a lot themselves and so already know what all of the cards do.
The Message's Movies Fair assumption except when he's checking the text of a card it means that he doesn't even know what it says and he plays this game like every day. All he would have to do is leave the text up for a single extra second. It's fine if he assumes that we all know every single card in the game, even boss cards, but why does it seem like he's intentionally making it so we can't read the card, almost every time.
Jack Bandit If he has to read it (and not just briefly remind himself which card it is, which can be done with a quick zoom like that) then it should be up long enough for a human to read it. Just pause the video right as you see him mouse of the card, otherwise I don't know what else to tell you. The idea that he's somehow doing this maliciously is crazy. You could also go look up the boss cards yourself or play against them, equally valid solutions.
The Message's Movies Can't play the bosses without spending money on the game. I don't play this game, but I watch Trump. Still I know most of the cards, but when he comes across one that even he doesn't know it's not unreasonable to expect someone in the audience might not know. It would take literally an extra second of the card text on screen for anyone to read. Sure I could read that fast, but when he randomly flashes the card text on and off the screen it's hard to. Yes I can pause or even have a chance to read when I know it's coming, but like I said in my OP I am constantly having to go back in the video to do so. If it's not malicious it's inconsiderate. He's a professional streamer, does he not realize other people are watching? Am I not allowed to give feedback and/or comment on the video? I hate when he does this and he ALWAYS does, but I still watch him. I made a comment about it, oh well.
Jack Bandit It's not that inconsiderate. Just google the Blackrock Mountain bosses, you can probably find images of all their exclusive cards within five minutes of searching. These aren't tutorial videos and it's unreasonable to assess them as such, even if you are just giving basic feedback. There's no more reason for him to stop and let viewers read the cards than there is for him to explain basic board control strategies here, it isn't the place for it.
Saar Levin considering how much he knows about this game, and how often he has played against this particular boss already, I'd say, yes, he does indeed know.
Yeah the question rises why he didnt play the 3 dmg cards, at least with spare mana, but it's Trump after all, I don't know if he really didn't notice over the course of several turns taking damage every time.
DieEnteable Because that way, he would loose a debuff card yes, but would be left without any shit on the board. Next turn he just gets another card. It wouldnt benefit him in anyway. He would basicly just throw away the bad cards without doing anything else useful. Remeber that discarding them costs 3 fu**** mana
BallisticBacon1 I know the benefits of it but if you lose if you don't get your 20% chance or whatever it's not worth risking. plus, he already had stuff on the board, enough to get by at the point in time I am referring to.
"No Target Dummy! that's one of my best cards!" This will probably never be said again... RIP Target Dummy.
Condoriano Also Holy crap Chrommagus looks ridiculously hard.
"No! Target dummy! That was one of my best cards!"
- Trump, 2015
"Fool! These eggs are more precious than you know!"
*Can create more for 0 mana* Lolwut.
XD
Thy Name is Jimmy You have to say they're precious every time. If you called them worthless then they'd have daddy issues, get piercings, tattoos, or even dye their hair! Oh, and fight the father instead (those little rascals).
I mean, if you say they're precious every time, they may be spoiled, harass you for money, steal you're car, wear douche bag sweaters, but at least they'll fight FOR and not AGAINST him.
TheDarknessWithin727 But, they're not even a real dragon yet. They're still a little yolk.
I used a Tempo Mage deck for Chromaggus. With Sorceror's Apprentices and Mana Worms, he really just made my deck better.
Jake Taylor And he needed to stop playing like ass. "Hmm, instead of playing the blue affliction and killing the technician with a PO'd 1/1, I'll just play double Succubus!"
TheSkyfolk Do you have any idea how nerdy that sounds to someone who doesn't play Hearthstone on a regular basis?
WhiteStag98 Actually I play hearthstone a bit and it sounds nerdy to me.
So do I, I was just trying to make a point XD
throughout all the chromaggus fights i was practically yelling at the screen "Trump! What are you doing!?!? You gotta get that red brood affliction out of your hand! You're taking too much damage from it! Stop relying on RNG and actually spend the mana to get them out of your hand!"
"Oh no, my mistresses." I for one, think Trump deserves mistresses.
For completing heroic you should get a 5 10\10 Windfury, cannot be targeted by spells and hero power, immune to BGH. Gain + 1\2 at the end and start of your turn. Heal as much as damage dealt. Restore 5 health to your Hero.
And that's why can never be a HS dev
That's reasonable
Hey, I have PHD, I'm a doctor.
***** Or you know, a new card back for beating them all and Golden Versions of the cards you get when you beat him on Normal.
***** Or a card back. Because if you beat heroic, you clearly don't need an extra edge reaching top legend. Heh
Anyone having trouble with Chromaggus- I played the heroic version twice and won twice with a super slow Warlock deck. Demonfire, Demonheart and Mistress of Pain is the neccesary combo. In terms of the afflictions to discard:
Green: Don't discard at all unless you're setting up for the kill. You're not really that happy about it being discarded by effect either.

Blue: Must discard instantly.
Bronze: Must discard instantly.
Black: Would be nice, but often there are better plays. A lot of his cards are mediocre anyway, so dealing with two Fairy Dragons isn't much effort.
thanks for the advice! i'm sure 8 years of constant updates would make this fight a cake walk lol
you should get the golden cards when you beat heroic.
Nah, because heroic is how you get the awesome card back
Sandstorm s Yes, that way Blizzard can lose out on a few truckloads of money, I'm sure they'll love this idea.
i really give 0 Fuck about card back. And the card back sucks so much anyway

+Fat Dog hah you have an optical illusion as your cover so when people scroll over your profile pic they'll be mind blown
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
MCKoolperson9 Las Vegas, capital of Insanity
Gotta say, I was impressed with the music on this adventure.
Knife Juggler: Put this apple on your head!
Doomguard: Eh, a poultry task!
That sarcastic "Well played" at 26:25 :)
I can only hope that in the next video he learns that at some point losing 10% of your starting life every turn becomes pretty bad.
I used Priest with Chromaggus, buffed Deathlord to prevent incoming damage (Chromaggus doesn't have direct removal) and Auchenai Soulpriest (green Cromaggus card deals 6 dmg per turn to him - just need to collect couple of those and play the others)

I kinda wanted to see what the eggs hatched into, and I can't do it myself because I'm poor
I just played a gimmicky buff priest for heroic Chromaggus. "Chromaggus could be tough." Yeah, just a tad xD
LOL Trump! 28:52 I love the realization of your mistakes XD
Trump: "Oh, I have lethal? What is the least satisfying order I can attack in?" Always.
Seems like Swipe's damage is taken into account in the same order as the animation, first the main target and then the rest. That could matter in some cases, as shown in the video.
I got pretty lucky in this one - famous last words
24:20 ATTACK WITH DE DOOM GUARD!!!!!
Wouldnt deathwing be really good against Chromagus havet got brm yet

What if I say: I watched the whole video!
Máté Ormándi I would belive, I did too
Oh, hi +Lopoi
what if i say "who cares"
Máté Ormándi That's the point...
When Captain America throws his mighty shield !
Chromaggus consitanty plays a 4 mana flamestrike and trump is trying to play Zoo against it hahaha
That feel when trump forgets to attack with doomguard 24:20

Chromaggus is easy if you use a rushy mage with flamewakers and sorcerer's apprentices
9:20 Didn't know D1 had a Hearthstone cameo
*Chroooooooooooooomaggus!!!*
Cromaggus is probs the toughest fight of the adventure so far.
@ 24:20 That missed doomguard dmg tho xD
Trump annoyed at RNG lord confirmed.
Something genius for Chromaggus; use Lorewalker Cho.
- OP
20.40 .. His succubus discarded other one, i laughed so hard dunno why ^^
What happens to the eggs when they get really high health?
Against Chomaggus, LoreWalker Cho would be a boss, give HIM all the cards that help him so they help you instead.
Nefarion always reminds me of handsome Jack. Is that weird?
Trump laying the smack talk on Razorgore
Ok so I have a question is there a reason Trump refuses to use Gold cards. I see whenever he builds a deck he purposely ignores his Golden cards.
+DarkRider96 100% golden or 0% golden he said,
on vaelastrasz murloc druid worked pretty well for me
Flood mage with sorcerers-apprentice, duplicates and Echo of Medivh, seems like a good idea
They really should've given heroic Razorgore eggs attack so they'd at least be a BIT harder to clear, and/or make his ability summon more than 1. Like "Give all eggs +1/+1, then summon two" or something. I dunno he just felt way too easy.
28:57 I'm dying here trump XD
final verdict: ok, for the love of god, why play a deck with tons of small minions when you know he has flame strike and will randomly get to play it at discount?
That mountain of misplays near the end gave me cancer
I have already hated the heroic Mode in Naxx. I think it's not difficult, it's just unfair.
Vainspot That's the point
Vainspot Just did it today in 2 hours with own decks and a little bit thinking, was pretty fun i think.
Trump which decktracker do you use?
13:25 what I say in Dark Souls when I'm fighting a dragon.
Can you use cho to give him his own afflictions?
Alex Loughlin nvm just got to that part
What are inside those eggs ?
I just got deathwing today in a pack I hav screenshot proof:D so happy
BlockCraft :O And I have 42 legendaries, so what? It's totally irrelevant so why even mention it.
Darth Mortus Dick. ^
Jordan Scott why is he a dick, he's right lol.
***** why is he a dick?
And why should we care? It is blatant attention whoring, just like all those similar posts about getting X card on the official forums which I've gotten tired of long time ago. It's spam, it's not relevant to the topic at hand it simply has no place here.
Kinda disappointed they didn't make the obvious nod and wink to those of us who remember Vanilla WoW and make BWL normal mode if you had an Alliance character and heroic if you picked Horde. ;)
I felt like Trump held the Red Chromaggus card for too long on the last clip. The damage ended up being way too much.
what happens if the egg reaches 5
Can't buy Blackrock since F2P and don't have anywhere near enough gold for one wing.
The sad life.
Haven't even done one Naxxramas wing.
Oh, Chromaggus... I remember Trump's struggle.
Why not play Blue when Cho is out?! D:
-3 Mana cost on spells = dump all the colours
***** It specifically says -3 mana for Crommagus. Cho transfer only works for reds and greens IIRC.
6:07 "Kevin Dong has come online"
You could say that trump scrambled to win that first one ;D
Boo, you stink!
Come on man even the boss used that line
I have a great idea and it might involve deathwing
Does he stream while playing blackrock ?
what do the razorgore eggs hatch into? 8/8s?
7/3 in normal, 7/7 in heroic
morgan mango
Thats not exactly intimidating considering the circumstances...
Dendarang
im willing to bet good money that has never happened.
When i said circumstances, i meant how easy it is to prevent him from even getting a singe 7/7.
when i read up on the hero power, i thought he would be using cards like power word: Shield.
I played priest when i found razorgore and iran with cabal shadow priest and brewmasters so i just kept stealing his eggs
Whenever an enemy uses an ability it shows u what it does how dont people realize that?
What even is that 1-drop at 31:13?
EatYourBeetS VG Undertaker, gain+ 1atack whenever you play a deathratlle minion (its a card from naxxramas exp)
EatYourBeetS VG it seems really bad. It needs to buffed to be considered good. What about gain +1/+1 when a deathratter is summoned :o
Super Gravity absolutely, I think hunters would like a card like that
EatYourBeetS VG i really hope that's sarcasm....
EatYourBeetS VG they never get any love in the updates.... they definitely need something strong if people will ever play hunter again
I would use mill rogue on chromagus since it would be easy to mill him with the card he spawns that makes it so whenever he draws a cards it's double... I didn't think about the rest so pls don't hate me if this plan is stupid ok guys.
9:30 Even the AI BM's!!
20:15 forgot to heal for one with the mistress....
What about using deathwing?
If you survive to turn 10 for chroma hugs you most likely already won anyway
they really fucked up on the razor fight. i have watched so many videos on it and no one has managed to hatch an egg even on heroic. i just really want to see what they do
johannes the stalking biscuit 7/3 twilight drakonid on normal, 7/7 on heroic, i stole his eggs whit a priest, and he was kind enough to hach them for me :)
johannes the stalking biscuit On normal so do the egg spwan a 8/4 dragon. So probely a 8/8 on heroic
the dubstep volcano, so op
Molten giants and healbots trump.
Never lucky. Or anywhere near lucky.
Does anyone know if he got the fastest clear?
I think he got second
I heard he was 2nd.
Alexander Hegland Trump was at best third. Chakki and Ikarus were faster.
I beat this with priest, turn 1 mind vision his 2/3 that increases stats with spells and eventually had a 30/30 deathlord he couldn't get through.
wow I have never been so frustrated with Trumps play before........THEY ARE SPELLS USE A FRIKKIN MAGE
Vaelastrasz 10/10 BM
For some reason when I read the title I thought some of it said "panty raid"
^ THIS XD

a good way to win is with shadow priest
BRM > Naxx
I disagree brm much bettter over all
shuvo rahman thats what he said ...
shuvo rahman that's what he's saying..
Connor Murphy THATS WHAT SHE SAID
***** SICK ONE BRO. LET'S GO HIGH FIVE AND SAY BRO MORE
28:56 so fucking funny lmao
Trump is so terrible at fighting chromagus. because he sees red as a threat when hes at 6 hp/... EVERY TIME
Why would you not just play the damn cards you want to get rid of instead of relying on a 15% chance of succubus dropping it?
DieEnteable cos it cost mana
DieEnteable

Gotta play risky too win
Misplays. Misplays everywhere
Trump likes his steak medium bad.
Naxx is the best
Well only some naxx card are good but in brm almost all card are good plus they all synergies
I think Naxxramas is much better than BlackRock Mountain
Heroic is such a waste of time XD
He clearly had a really bad deck for chrommagus and kept playin it, wtf
28:26 TRUMP IS HOMER SIMPSON CONFIRMED!!!!!
