They say "Thank you" after you defeat them because they're thanking you for killing them - every other time they say things such as "no talk" or "kill". The realization hit me while I was on the normal run; thanks for the feels Blizzard...
Maybe you should read better? And it's following the same video order that it has done for the last quarters, which is Normal/Class and then Heroic in a separate video...
Intruder What are you smoking? Your comment makes no sense bro, and yes, I can read, very well. DMBC thought this video with boring because it was so easy to beat the bosses, and he is looking forward to watching heroic mode. "Maybe you should read better?"
Oddly enough, Kel'thuzad was telling the truth about there being an achievement to losing to Gluth. If you unlock it, you automatically earn the "Gullible Suckerooney" card which automatically grants its owner +1 wisdom and -5 trust.
Haha, I love AI BM. Disappointed at Trump's lack of surprise at Patchwerk coming to a Hearthstone game WITHOUT A DECK. Also lack of auras on Thaddius...that's the whole damn point! (Also he should've Crazed the spider on turn 2, it turns to 2/1 then back into 1/2, then you at least have a minion on the board to kill the next guy...can't wait for those perfect plays in these modes!)
Trump got pretty lucky with the Grobbulus class challenge, for the rest of us, he always plays multiple Mutating Injections on Dancing Swords and Oozes before our boards are even set up properly.
These normal bosses are kind of boring to watch. Mainly because you faceroll them in 15-20mins with minimal thinking. The heroic bosses give more satisfaction since there are multiple ways and playstyles to approach them.
Al0neStillAlive These comments are in a way interesting and ironic. When you comment that something is obvious - in a sense you're doing the same: spotting the obvious and telling other people about it. Another thing is the expectation of youtube comments being only insightful, intelligent and objective remarks about the content. Where as in most cases they are just subjective feelings projected into the section. There could be valid criticism of comments without any substance. Comments like "sldksöldfköslf", "first!" or "lol this is gay".
Well these were boring to watch co sthey barely put up a fight. in my games bosses in normal were pulling off stupid combos and hitting me for 17-21 damage a turn. I had to pull out all the stops. but then i don't have a bunch of legends like hoger and ragnaros so maybe thats the difference. I actually have to think about the problem, not just legend my way out which is what blizzard seems to be saying. :(
You're so lucky in that Warrior Challenge. You have no idea how difficult that thing is normally. My first 4 tries (got it on my fifth) he had Acidic Swamp Ooze every time I equipped Death's Bite and frequently on turn 8 would have the dream of Echoing Ooze + 2 Mutating Injection because his deck runs at minimum, 4 when I could never get an Execute. I only won the fifth game because I got lucky enough to double Rampage a Raging Worgen.
agreed, patchwerk ripped me a new one about 6 times before i got a draw lucky enough to beat him. and the dog just mauled me. at one point he was a 17 atk minion. and mine NEVER ran out of weapons. soon as he lost it he immediately played another. every time.
Yeah I only beat Gluth when he didn't weapon up after losing his first one. He lost a ton of presence once it was gone and I was able to wreck shop. Patchwerk I played Zoo on so it wasn't exactly too hard to win against him honestly. Zoo rips him a new one.
Zombie Chow is so dang good in Priest. If you play it turn one, you have such a good chance of winning the game because you get the early game pressure, and you already have a dude you can throw power word shields on. Even if you get them late game it's fine since you can combo Chow with Auchenai Soulpriest and deal a nice five damage. Along with the Dark Cultist, Priest is super sexy now.
Hello Trump , at 28:00 if you would play the Deathlord with divine spirit or what its called and inter fire you would have survive because that deathlord would be 16 16 btw great videos keep it up :)
In the first go at the Priest Challenge, why didn't Trump use Deathlord + Divine Spirit + Inner Fire on turn 6? He drew the Inner Fire that turn, and would have had enough mana to do it (3+2+1 = 6). That would've yielded him a 16/16 minion with taunt, which is "immune" to the Polarity Shift - at least the upcoming turn.
That Grobbulus fight for Warrior challenge was so difficult for me. I've been fine for the whole of Naxx until this point. Funny thing is, I pretty much won the first priest fight.
The warrior challenge was such a pain for me to beat. Every time I cleared his board and got him into kill range he started throwing out the buffed (and double-buffed) echoing oozes over and over. >.
Sean Dickey No, When hogger was polarity switched with the +2/0 the +2 attack was switched to health and hogger gained permanent stats, watch closely from the moment hogger is played until he dies
Can't believe how lucky you've been for the Warrior class challenge. The amount of times I had to face a 6/5 Leper Gnome on turn 2, or the totally not unfair combo wombo of Echoing Ooze + 2 Mutating Injections + some Cold Bloods depending on his remaining mana. And Execute would, of course, never drop. Oh well. Nothing really interesting to say in the end. Just wanted to point out how tame your Grobbulus was :P.
Quackerilla Well when I get home from work I'll be doing the latest Naxx wing and updating my death rattles deck. It's currently Warlock but I'll make a Priest version too ^_^
you got lucky on grobbulus... when he gets echoing ooze he will buff it with +4+4 and taunt.. then the ooze copies itself... i havent managed to beat this boss yet
i wonder if a raidleader-stormwind champ-dire wolf alpha-leokk-timberwolf-temporary-buffing-deck would be good enough. the continous "buff retaining" is quite nice.
A 1/5 for 3? Because a slightly better Gargoyle is just what people are looking for... :-P Now a 4/2 or 4/3 for 3 (Jungle Panther/Injured Blademaster, those old staples), those are playable. Though I will admit I ran Silverback Patriarch in the heroic version - not because it's good for most of it, but because it's a 4/1 taunt that can potentially take out the 7/4 that attacks.
MrGoofy42 You can get away with them in heroic, if you consider them a wincon (Stormwind Champ always is; in the case of Dire Wolf Alpha and Raid Leader don't start snowballing until the board is under control). I included Dire Wolf in my rogue deck for the heroic version, but never saw it (though I got heaps of value out of it when I used my zoolock deck in normal). Actually, Young Priestess can be used as a random attack buff, and Master Swordsmith can be used as a random defense buff. Trippy!
27:14 Why not deathlord, then crazed alchemist it? goes to 8/2, hero power makes it 2/8. I know he said it's way too slow a bit after but considering that he only healed on turn 5 i dont see how doing that play would be slower than just healing
This wing seems like the easiest, most of the abilities were fairly easily circumvented and in the class challenges you basically got the counters and they didn't even rely that heavily on you getting the perfect hand.
Thaddius's Hero Power was really cool. Nothing ridiculous like Gothik's, just something that affected the game in a unique and interesting way. This quarter may have been a *little* on the weaker side imo but Thaddius just has a really really cool Hero Power.
27:41 - 6 mana - Deathlord 3 mana - Divine Spirit 2 mana - Inner Fire 1 mana = 16/16 Taunt. That would have put you back in the game and probably won it as he only had 13 dmg the next turn and he would have had to gotten lucky on the storm to kill it.
27:40 Trump gave up WAY too early on this one... He could have spent 6 mana and 3 cards on a 16/16 with taunt or made it a 2/10 or 4/8. Any of those would have helped tremendously. Deathlord + double health + innerfire for the 16/16 or Deathlord + power word shield and scientist for the other 2 possibilities. Swap the health and attack, then it gets swapped back.
I really hated the Warrior challange becuase Warrior is my least played class, and I'm not very good with the class, it's the class that gives me the least joyment to play as. However I'm looking forward to play the Paladin challange next week, because Paladin is my best class.
just made a deathrattle/undertaker shaman deck (named it "bring out your dead"). got to say its fairly impressive for a new deck type, very control focused, but a tad slow. It really does fuck with your opponents though so I approve ^_^.
I have an up and coming "Ramp Druid" deck I am testing out in Hearthstone and I need your opinion on it, guys. (I mainly play Warlock Zoo so I designed this deck to counter it) Here's the Decklist: 0 Mana: Innervate (2) 1 Mana: N/A 2 Mana: Mark of the Wild (2), Wild Growth (2), Wrath (2), Ancient Watcher (2), Sunfury Protector (2) 3 Mana: Mark of Nature (2), Harvest Golem (2) 4 Mana: Swipe (2), Gnomish Inventor (2), Keeper of the Grove (2) 5 Mana: Azure Drake (1), Druid of the Claw (2) 6 Mana: Starfire (1) 7 Mana: Stormwind Champion (2) 8 Mana: Ironbark Protector (2) This deck is focused on innervating out mid-game plays that would easily counter Warlock Zoo, there is quite a lot of possibility for strong-healthed taunts, which is the reason for the Mark of the Wilds and Mark of Natures. It has an intermediate amount of removal and has an extremely powerful end-game. My only concern about this deck is it's lack of early game minions, which could cause an issue against Zoo if I do not draw my Innervates. P.S.: I am planning on adding another Azure Drake in the deck and one Ancient of War and two Ancient of Lore. Obviously cards are going to need to be cut so I am not so sure about it yet. Please message me back for deck advice and what to possibly get rid of for the cards I am going to be adding.
Hey guys, may i ask something? Can you force patchwerk to draw? If the answer is yes, that is the think i would like to try to beat patchwerk, although i dont think it is possible to win it this way, or maybe it is, idk. Trump got super lucky on the Warrior challenge. I had to go try it about 10 times because the game gave me nothing but stoneskins. Also trump totally missed a much better play on his first run through the priest challenge. He could have had a 20/20 deathlord and probably won.
Thaddius is the only one who says he wants to die when he's defeated? I say that eternal torment and servitude is a small price to pay to be that ripped. Have the lich king's other minions ever looked at themselves in the fuckng mirror lately? I guess there's nothing for the ol' lich king to do but create a reality show called "Keeping Up With The Kel"Thuzads". Imagine if Dr. Frankenfurter from "Rocky Horror Picture Show" was one of the bosses. P.S. Why didn't you use Mo'gushan Warden against the reverse polarity?
i hated the warrior grobbulus challenge so much... in theory its a nice deck but he constantly cranks out huge minions with his buff and the warrior deck has almost no removal. also the 1 dmg aoe mechanic goes well with the minions you have BUT HE NEVER USES IT and just destroys my minions by different means...
"patchwerk is sown up from adventurers who couldnt defeat lorewalker cho" WHELP. i guess patchwerk is made out of an army of kripparrians... HAH
They say "Thank you" after you defeat them because they're thanking you for killing them - every other time they say things such as "no talk" or "kill". The realization hit me while I was on the normal run; thanks for the feels Blizzard...
That was boring, looking forward to Trump doing the EPIC boss versions and all his "whut why but when... aaaaaawwwwww no ... whatever" :D :D :D
Maybe you should read better? And it's following the same video order that it has done for the last quarters, which is Normal/Class and then Heroic in a separate video...
Intruder
What are you smoking? Your comment makes no sense bro, and yes, I can read, very well.
DMBC thought this video with boring because it was so easy to beat the bosses, and he is looking forward to watching heroic mode.
"Maybe you should read better?"
Intruder Dude you can understand fun and irony yes? :D
***** Lol, I don't have time for you spastic, go play with your other mental friends.
Hey cousin! Let's go bowling!
Thanks Jens! Caught some of this last night as I was playing through, but was hoping you'd have it up by the morning. You never disappoint. =)
I actually conceded when kel'Thuzad told me there was an achievemnt for losing to Gluth.
I expected nothing less then being mocked, and it happned.
I just love Kel'Thuzad's witty comments. An achievement for losing to Gluth. :D
Oddly enough, Kel'thuzad was telling the truth about there being an achievement to losing to Gluth. If you unlock it, you automatically earn the "Gullible Suckerooney" card which automatically grants its owner +1 wisdom and -5 trust.
Wait wut
I was kidding.
Haha, I love AI BM. Disappointed at Trump's lack of surprise at Patchwerk coming to a Hearthstone game WITHOUT A DECK. Also lack of auras on Thaddius...that's the whole damn point!

I hear that Twilight Vampire is one of the unlockable bosses in Naxxramas. his hero power is "(3) summon a 2/2 screaming fangirl with taunt."
It just requires one type of deck for HC bosses. Just to exploit their weakness :)
Thanks for that ever so insightful comment. I award you the obvious badge of obviousness.
Al0neStillAlive These comments are in a way interesting and ironic. When you comment that something is obvious - in a sense you're doing the same: spotting the obvious and telling other people about it.

At 28 min you could have done death lord then double his health and inner fire 16 16 at board would save you
***** KILL!

I know, much pain, many cry
If you really enjoy Hearthstone, just spend some money...I'm sure you've spent money on console games before, Hearthstone should be no different.
Dan Liang mi mommy saws she wunt pay fur cumpooter gamez she say its a wast of munny
Thallanar Rabidtooth Wow, trying to pose as a little kid is harder than I thought. I should really get a job though, so I can pay for HS cards.
ME TO i no have money
Anyone else notice the weird polarity switch that happened with hogger and the flametongue totem at 17:44
***** yes
LegendaryInferno Hogger became a 4/6, then got +2/0 from the Flametongue. Nothing strange.
Sean Dickey No, When hogger was polarity switched with the +2/0 the +2 attack was switched to health and hogger gained permanent stats, watch closely from the moment hogger is played until he dies
+LegendaryInferno it's not weird at all, since temp buffs will stay permanent when the stats are switched
Wow that effects list on the soulpriest ( 32:24 ) 8 effects where 5 of them where polarity XD
Oh well. Nothing really interesting to say in the end. Just wanted to point out how tame your Grobbulus was :P.
I feel your pain man.
good video Seananners keep up the work
I just got thinking: Zombie Chow + Auchenai = 5 damage to the face upon deathrattle? Yes?
Yes.
Yes it's Mind Blast number 3 and 4 in a Priest Deck.
10 if you have the Baron out too.
Clockwork Knight We're onto something here. SOMEONE MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
Quackerilla
Well when I get home from work I'll be doing the latest Naxx wing and updating my death rattles deck. It's currently Warlock but I'll make a Priest version too ^_^
The 2 legendaries a just too good
wow, it took me like 5 tries to defeat the enemy with the pre-prepared warrior deck, well done xD
I can't believe you didn't see the Deathlord Inner fire at the end. x)
Wait, did anybody else notice the 'Polarity Shift" makes temp buffs permanent? I mean Hogger was a 6/6 after 2 shifts.
Patchwerk was hillarious on my Druid mill deck. Had him dead at Turn 5 on normal - Naturalizing the Dancing Swords FTW XD
Flametongue is pretty fun on thaddius if you can keep it alive. Endless BUFFS. :D
yaas, i was monitoring for it! :D
you got lucky on grobbulus... when he gets echoing ooze he will buff it with +4+4 and taunt.. then the ooze copies itself... i havent managed to beat this boss yet
benniebees his grobbulus did it too
You need magma Rager against thaddius^^
or just a ramp druid with a lot of yeti/yeti like cards... that worked great for me didn't even take damage lol.
Still crap.
i wonder if a raidleader-stormwind champ-dire wolf alpha-leokk-timberwolf-temporary-buffing-deck would be good enough. the continous "buff retaining" is quite nice.

i been banging me head against heroic grobelus since it was released...everything was very easy until that...did not even need to netdeck.
Loving this final menu of the video just awesome
Not that it matters but there was the possibility to summon deathlord and then use alchemist on it to make it be a 2/8 on Thaddius' turn.
lol I've been waiting for 3hr 45 mins. It's 3:45 am now.
wut
27:14 Why not deathlord, then crazed alchemist it? goes to 8/2, hero power makes it 2/8. I know he said it's way too slow a bit after but considering that he only healed on turn 5 i dont see how doing that play would be slower than just healing
27:40 Trump could have done Deathlord + 2x Power Word: Shield + Inner Fire and forced Thaddius to trade.
Grobbulus was the toughest to fight for me.
Thaddius was tons of fun.
Gluth had a bad starting hand.
I'm going to be honest, I shouted gromash at the computer for like a minute during the warrior hero challenge until. He finally used him.
This wing seems like the easiest, most of the abilities were fairly easily circumvented and in the class challenges you basically got the counters and they didn't even rely that heavily on you getting the perfect hand.
To be fair the class challenges have always been counters for the bosses..
datatravelleri tru but not this hard imo, was more of a find a funky way to use them and you'll do good kinda counter
nfzeta
Idk.. Maybe it is just me getting brilliant hands but I wrecked every single one of those challenges :D
I love Grom Hellscream....such an amazing card.
And I'm still stuck on authorization screen and can't have access even to Plague Quarter.
Wow. Is it intended, that the buff of the flametoung totem stays as health, when it gets swaped? Hogger became a 6/6 after swapping twice.
That power up for Hogger! 17:37
First time priest class challenge, on turn 6. Why not deathlord, divine spirit inner fire?
Thaddius's Hero Power was really cool. Nothing ridiculous like Gothik's, just something that affected the game in a unique and interesting way. This quarter may have been a *little* on the weaker side imo but Thaddius just has a really really cool Hero Power.
missed 16/16 taunt
27:41 - 6 mana - Deathlord 3 mana - Divine Spirit 2 mana - Inner Fire 1 mana = 16/16 Taunt. That would have put you back in the game and probably won it as he only had 13 dmg the next turn and he would have had to gotten lucky on the storm to kill it.
I was ganna buy the naxxramas wings but I only have 2 cause now everytime I get on its extremely laggy
INNER FIRE TOPDECK! And you completely ignored it :( 27:39
27:40 Trump gave up WAY too early on this one...
That moment, when I try it 2+ times until I beat the bosses and Trump does it easy with his F2p Shaman deck :D
I really hated the Warrior challange becuase Warrior is my least played class, and I'm not very good with the class, it's the class that gives me the least joyment to play as. However I'm looking forward to play the Paladin challange next week, because Paladin is my best class.
"Thank you"
"Oh, you're welcome"
"KILL!"
"What?" :D
Wait, Trump is part of TSM? Had no idea lol
항상 재미있게 잘보고 있습니다^^
YOU ARE AWESOME NICE WORK
Polarity Shift actually buffed his Hogger's health thanks to the Flametongue ovo
Those end jams wre dope
you had exactly enough mana for that
Such lucky card draws. I had to go ten times as Warrior because the game kept giving me unwinnable hands.
jens? :o from what is that soundtrack at the end of the vid? :)
27:41 why not Deathlord > Divine Spirit > Inner Spirit?
Thank you...
Well played
KILL!!!
you should had use crazed alc against ur own deathlord to revert the effect of polar shift
just made a deathrattle/undertaker shaman deck (named it "bring out your dead"). got to say its fairly impressive for a new deck type, very control focused, but a tad slow. It really does fuck with your opponents though so I approve ^_^.
I have failed 6 times on the warrior challenge. I can't seem to come back after the opponent gets early game advantage.
My pally angry chicken deck DESTROYED Thaddius
Ooze then mind vision as priest to get his hook then you are fine and awesome :D
you had a good play on your first game as a priest, on your last turn, you had death lord + divine + inner, for a 16-16 with taunt.
It seems like this quarter is far easier than the others.
probably gonna regret watching this video since it spoils the adventure but i just can't stand the temptation T_T
omg at 27:35 the death lord divine spirit inner fire combo
zombie chow trades with soul priests=value?
I have an up and coming "Ramp Druid" deck I am testing out in Hearthstone and I need your opinion on it, guys. (I mainly play Warlock Zoo so I designed this deck to counter it) Here's the Decklist:
0 Mana: Innervate (2)
1 Mana: N/A
2 Mana: Mark of the Wild (2), Wild Growth (2), Wrath (2), Ancient Watcher (2), Sunfury Protector (2)
3 Mana: Mark of Nature (2), Harvest Golem (2)
4 Mana: Swipe (2), Gnomish Inventor (2), Keeper of the Grove (2)
5 Mana: Azure Drake (1), Druid of the Claw (2)
6 Mana: Starfire (1)
7 Mana: Stormwind Champion (2)
8 Mana: Ironbark Protector (2)
This deck is focused on innervating out mid-game plays that would easily counter Warlock Zoo, there is quite a lot of possibility for strong-healthed taunts, which is the reason for the Mark of the Wilds and Mark of Natures.
Is it a bug when the +2 atck of the falmetongue totem swap with the life of the creature and not disapeared ?
no because its a 6/4 would become 4/6 and the flame tongue buffs it to 6/6 etc.
It's a mechanic. I use it in my Alchemist deck to get more value out of those Flametongues. When it works it's tons of fun.
why not deathlord, inner fire and divine spirit that last turn of your first playthrough with the priest? for a 16/ 16 taunt deathlord???
Trump employed the "Sit there and lose" strategy at 25:35.
Hey guys, may i ask something? Can you force patchwerk to draw? If the answer is yes, that is the think i would like to try to beat patchwerk, although i dont think it is possible to win it this way, or maybe it is, idk. But when i think of it, that is shit that TotalBiscuit will do in his naxx run for sure. Its too attempting.
*****
what are you going to naturalize?
***** his own minion ofc xD
You missed getting a 16/16 taunt at 28 minutes, that would have turned the game around (thadd has no hard removal).
@28:20 You know... or you could deathlord + divine + inner fire you just drew for 6 mana and then have a 16/16
Trump got super lucky on the Warrior challenge. I had to go try it about 10 times because the game gave me nothing but stoneskins. Also trump totally missed a much better play on his first run through the priest challenge. He could have had a 20/20 deathlord and probably won.
Heroic Thaddius is REALLY annoying but I finally beat him. Trump, now its your turn :)
Can you break patchwerk's weapon by using acidic swamp ooze or something?
you can. If you do that he draws a new weapon but can't use it for a turn if I remember it right
WOAH, grobbulus bonemared an ooze
You were lucky you didn't run into his taunt slime combo
Always wondered... do Mind Games, Mind Vision or Thoughtsteal ever get you boss-only cards?
Yes, they can.
P.S. Why didn't you use Mo'gushan Warden against the reverse polarity?
do you have to pay to unlock 700 coins each week for the new Naxxramas set or jus once ?
Each wing costs 700 gold. So yeah, you need at least 2800 gold total (if you got the Arachnid quarter for free).
well its not worth ;)
Tbag x That's subjective.
why he didn´t played the first and the second class challenge?
trump: Greetings Grobbulus: NO TALK trump: :/
against thaddius , you shoulda divine spirited the deathlord + inner fire and you would have a 16-16 on board :S
At 27:41 you could have played death lord divine spirit and then inner fire to get a 16/16 and maybe even win the game.
Zoo, Ramp, Zoo, Zoo. Finished in 10 minutes.
I actually had trouble against the damned dog
Yeah... 5 Damage a turn hurt BAD
28:00 deathlord + divine spirit + inner fire = 16/16 on board... i think better than suicide ;p
deathlord, divine spirit, inner fire, you had the cards and the mana, the 16/16 taunt would have saved you :(
i hated the warrior grobbulus challenge so much... in theory its a nice deck but he constantly cranks out huge minions with his buff and the warrior deck has almost no removal. also the 1 dmg aoe mechanic goes well with the minions you have BUT HE NEVER USES IT and just destroys my minions by different means...
