I watched this video twice as Rider suggested. I watched another video as well. Happy Riders method without taking the dryer apart more fully, worked perfectly well. Even for an old guy like me I was able to remove all screws and replace them in the hard to reach area. Did complete job in 1.75 hours. Thanks for an excellent, logical procedure, and minimal way of explaining this repair.

OMG. I did it! I'm a 57 yr old FEMALE. I have the same dryer he has. I did everything u said to do. I watched the video several times and bought a short screwdriver . He was right, I got a few cuts and scratches, didn't hurt at all. Apparently, I didn't push the wires away from the drum ,which caused rubbing sounds when I turned the dryer on. Had to go back in and push the wires away from the drum. My dryer is hotter than before. I can't say thank you enough. This guy saved me over $100. He doesn't know it yet, but we go together now.😁😁😁 He's my new UA-cam bf.❤❤❤

I’m an AC tech and just did this repair with your help. Thank you for being organized with your takes. Same dryer, same failure. The hidden screws in the electrical support bracket were definitely the hardest to put in. It helped to reach in with the right arm semi backwards to feel the screw holes out. I’m reaching in with my right hand in the left side opening. Sorry if that’s confusing. Hurt the least to do it that way to get the screws at least set for the stubby Phillips screw driver.

Did the repair while watching and rewinding/going back several times. Did it in 30 mins. I guess I was lucky my dryer did not have screws at the back of that metal piece holding the enclosure of the heating element. Thanks, man! My dryer is back in business!

This was the best video I found on the subject, thank you. The most challenging part was getting the bracket back in and installing those little Phillips screws behind ; I wish you hadn't glossed over that. I'd suggest for others in the future to maybe put a mirror behind the bracket so you can see what you're doing. All in all a helpful video and I commend your work especially with one hand on the tools and the other on the camera. Cheers.

Just followed this and my dryer works. Broken heating element (make sure you go to SAMSUNG for the exact model number; although Amazon had a less pricier version that works just fine). This is an EXCELLENT Tutorial. Step by Step, informing which parts are a little more difficult, good tips and ultimately saved me a TON of money. Only 2 cuts :) Suggestions: a pair of thin fingerless gloves. Not shown/told: make sure the housing for the heating elements connects in the back of the dryer on re-install.
    Thanks a ton!

Excellent walk-thru helped me to repair a 2011 Samsung. A couple of screws were different, but over all this made it much easier taking apart... and putting back together! Culprit was a broken coil just like you mentioned. Thank you! Key recommendation: fingerless nitrile gloves were a must (no band aids!).
