Wow, such a nice video. I'm a second-generation Beatles nut turning 65 soon. Started buying my Apple 45s and albums and 8 track tapes in about 1973 at Tower Records, the first one in Sacramento. Later, I found the wonder of the used record store, and i was a kid in a candy store. I still have all of my records I bought. Im ashamed to say i have none of those colored 45s. But i may start looking for a deal like you got. I used to go to Beatlesfest in Los Angeles until they stopped them 😢. I was watching the new Matthew Street about possible new US Albums vinyl, and I saw your video. I'm so glad I watched. I'll be watching more of your videos. Take care, young lady.😄💕

I don’t know if I am excited about the new Capitol albums gossip or not because we have those albums already but we get what we get. Unless, they will all be in mono. Hello, I’m only a second generation fan. My gateway to their music was the original ‘Red and Blue’ set on 8-track tape. Thanks to my mom, the Beatles have been my favorite band since Kindergarten. I can’t believe that was over 50 years ago! I love seeing first generation fans and hearing their stories. You got a new subscriber! Thanks for your video to watch.

Thank you for watching. I just looked at your Mathew Street video. Very commercialized now. I think the old vibe is ruined. Having to pay to even get into the Cavern is a turn off for me. I do want to go to Pete’s museum though. That vj 45 is available but you don’t see it often. Probably about 40-50 dollars in crap condition. So, for 5 dollars I think I did alright. I don’t want to get into collecting crappy records though! Hello to your wife too.
I too am a first gen Beatles fan! I consider myself and everyone else so fortunate to be alive and to have heard their music. Just think of all the people that lived and died that did not hear their music! Your collection is wonderful! Thank you for sharing it with us! We have something else in common, though not Beatle related. I’ve never seen another house with brick identical to mine! It has a rough texture. Only the Super Cool have brick like that and are Beatles fans! Thank you!

On the Scranton Yellow Sub copies,some were issued with the yellow perimeter print.I have one.The Please Please Me was part of the black and yellow foursome pressed at Silver Plastics in Southampton,Pa. in my former county,Bucks,north of Philly.They did some Philly labels such as Cameo and Parkway,Gamble,also did late '60's/early '70's Motowns.They did the VJ yellow and all black copies,same with the Tollies(rounded "E",thin box logos)solid yellow,black print or all black label,silver print,for all 4 titles.I have most of them back.Im in Eastern Pa.,I commented before,hope you had fun at the fest,Pat!!I had all 30 of those colored Capitols-'93 and '96 they came out.

@@Imaginenumber9 Yeah,you don't have a Chicaaaagolander AAA accent,you sound more like an east coaster-what area near Philly?!!?The VJ yellows and Tollie blacks were the flip flops of the regular black VJ and yellow Tollies,but both variations that match up as brothers and sister pressings were done at Silver Plastics,because I deduced that the Philly labels I mentioned used the same ID based text font as those 4 Beatle titles.

It’s interesting that the colored vinyl jukebox singles, issued decades after the breakup of the band, have become collectible. You just never know. Nice video, Patricia, and thanks for the shout out!
You are welcome for the shoutout. You deserve it. I guess since vinyl and especially colored vinyl is more popular now maybe that is why. But, also they put out limited quantities and some are lesser in quantity than others. They are fun to get because they are a bit of a different purple capitol and if you buy1 or 2 at a time you don’t break the bank.

Wonderful video Patricia as usual, beautiful day! I agree re the capitol ys/er single, appears to be crayon colored on label. Wondering if you gently glide finger on it, you should be able to feel the crayon.
I honestly felt a real one and then this weird one. I can’t feel anything different. I looked at the record under bright light and I don’t see any crayon strokes. The label has a shine and shows nothing but a discolored label as far as I can tell
@Imaginenumber9 very interesting Patricia, as close as I can zoom in perhaps a day glow dry erase marker colored in? I see that the color seems to cover over some of the letters of the title. I wish for you that the record would fall into some type of rarity but as you know the spizer books show no such rarity. It almost looked sun faded as well but if it had been in such intense light to change label color, I assume that the record would be damaged. A mystery but now leaning towards colored by a marker. Btw forget to mention that I have both complete releases of the 'jukebox only' colored 45s.
All great finds in August. The Hard Days Night CD very nice. Loved all the colored juke box 45’s. The Tug of War set very nice. The two crappy 45’s cool also. August good month for you. Nice video outside!

It looks like someone took a crayon to the label of that copy of "Eleanor Rigby"/"Yellow Submarine "....Great colored vinyl!!!!...Peace and Love, Terry and Julia Tutor
I really looked at the label under bright light. The label has shine and no evidence of any crayon marks or strokes. Rubbing the label doesn’t change it either. I really now think it is discolored for some other reason. What could happen when labels are affixed I wonder?
