Great video, Patricia. Been on vacation and getting caught up on videos. So nice to revisit how we collected and lived The Beatles back in the pre internet days. Brought back a lot of memories. Can’t wait for your next video.

I have been remiss, because I saw this a few days ago, but forgot to write how great this video was ! Loved it !! ❤

I’m from suburban Philly as well, I’m 31 but I play music and have seen Paul 3 times and Ringo once

I'm loving your channel Patricia. This kind of video is so interesting for me as a British 2nd generation fan, to get a perspective of what it was like for first generation fans in the US. loved seeing all your mags and convention programmes and just hearing you talk about what it was like is fascinating . I also have a slight obsession about American history in the 60s and 70s which is a more recent thing for me (because I wasnt interested in watching the news when I was a kid of course - that was for boring grown ups 😂). Some of the mags were available in the UK such as Record Collector but I hadn't seen most of the others. You have made me feel old by including the 80s as 'the early days' lol as it doesnt feel that long ago even though it was 40 years. Videos were my thing, anytime there was anything Beatles on Tv I would record it on video in the 80s. I also had hundreds of tapes. I dont have a VHS recorder anymore so got rid of them all. Like you say there is more on YT than I could ever record so I dont really miss them. Keep up this great work and congratulations on reaching 100 subs and I hope you get many more. Hope you have received your One Hand Clapping and are enjoying it.

You know how much I appreciate your support. I could have said and shown more but the bottom line was it was pure fun. I did get to see them in person in 1966 which of course was pretty awesome. It really was the best time to grow up.

Thanks so much for your video. I guess Im a 2nd generation fan lol, there definitely has been no other group like them. I grew up in suburban Philly too, near the Norristown area. You're right when we look now at the publications from then theyre cheesy, but they were all we had at the time. One book I purchased in the late 70's was Nicholas Schaffners "The Beatles Forever". Well told (I thought) though thru the lens of history its interesting in that it came out not long before Johns death. Thanks again for your channel!

I’d like to hear what your top Beatles related movies are ; I thought I Want to Hold Your Hand by Robert Zemeckis was sweet, and can easily imagine you as one of those teens caught up in Beatlemania ..
