I was 8 when it came out but did not see it until I was 12 on vacation, in a campground with my folks and brother, on a tiny portable black and white TV on a picnic table. I was thrilled, I had been a Beatles Fan since the Ed Sullivan show in 1964 of course. And they were major reason I becmae a music teacher!!

You are among the youngest of us first generation people. I love your story. The Beatles impacted the lives of so many people. Of course you have to have special talent to be a music teacher but that is so cool that they influenced you to go in that direction. Thank you for commenting and sharing some of your story. I really appreciate your involvement in this channel. Beatles 4 Ever!

Thank you for continuing to follow me. I instantly recognised the black label of the AHDN single from the Netherlands (supposedly??)... it's actually a 1982 Australian 🇦🇺 Parlophone reissued pressing of AHDN with Things We Said Today on the b-side!, THE BEATLES is printed in fancy bold lettering, these Australian reissue singles were originally part of a special 20th Anniversary box set of Parlophone reissued singles released in Australia in1982.

Loved seeing your AHDN collection ! .. the movie card and framed poster were really cool !
One thing however, get your vinyl out of those PVC clear plastic covers that house your picture discs immediately!!
When warm, the PVC releases a gas that interacts with the vinyl and permanently fogs it up !
I first found out about this when Andrew at the Parlogram UA-cam channel mentioned it and I found that several picture discs that I had in storage were ruined … see here :

Hello there nice lady, a strange coincidence happened today. I didn't realise it was the 60th anniversary of a hdn , when a friend came to the house and gifted to me an original mint copy of a hdn mono vinyl to add to my collection its 60 year old and you think it was bought yesterday. There is a worrying thing i must mention to you, looking at your collection its really nice but your picture disc's are in p v c covered plastic and it is de gasing breaking down going rinkly you must change them to polythene sleeves if you don't the pvc will distroy your picture discs you will find the discs are already stickin to the p.v.c, i hope this helps
