Tip for Nick: Played since day 1 and gotta say, this game is widely different than COD, you can't 1 man army it, I mean you're a beast and you'll get to the point where you can but for now, don't land hot, learn the map, position and rotating is more important than gun skill in this game. Also don't be afraid to reset as the pros call it, start a fight, do damage but don't rush it unless you get a knock, if you don't like the fight, heal, reset and leave. You are catching on so fast and I love to watch you enjoy this game. Honestly just keep doing you, you're having fun, we are having fun, win win. P&L

Just gotta learn you can't do it purely on gun skill cause you're just gonna get rushed by all of them at a time. Gotta maneuver and separate them
Absolutely true, started from day 1 myself, I also have other things, apex has a lot of movement mechanics so ur free to explore the different movements which will help u in the long run, also knowing each maps in and outs is important if u wanna get a drop on the enemy, also position, obviously it's always gud to have the high ground but make a wrong move and ur dead, also once u finish a fight always be ready because third parties come almost immediately and u might get pinned between two or three teams, additionally, knowing what legend/s u are comfortable with, it's always gud to have at least 3 main legends because u won't always get to play the legend u want and finally guns, u won't always have the exact gun ur use to so get used to using different varieties of weapons.
As a 32 year old gamer . It’s so dope to see an OG change games like this so seamlessly and enjoy themselves like a little kid again . Keep crushing the game , Nick

Here's a tip, Nicky: When you have a rampage, your inventory's full, and you find a thermite grenade. Just put one in your gun and pick it up. The overcharge lasts for a good while if you don't shoot.

Tip for Nick: When your in a building and they keep sending the micro drones with the new legend, don’t use a shield cell until one bar is all the way down. When you were stuck in the build halfway through the vid, they were purposely trying to run through your shields. So use them conservatively.

Tip for Nick: Similar to how in warzone, you hop up and down close range when they are right in front of you to avoid bullets, in apex, you spam crouch on and off so your body gets lower and lower.

Spam crouching is easy to counter and gives easy headshots. That is if the people know what they’re doing.

@@mostdope_1941 I would agree. But it depends on what rank you are at. Higher ranks that go for headtap beams will end up missing shots. Lower ranks that may just be spraying around the body may hit more shots when your crouch spam and strafe

When doing ranked I think the team needs a movement character. Seer, Gibby are great, but Tim playing Rev isn’t too good considering y’all get in a lot of “oh shit” situations. A Wraith can portable the team out. Octane can jump pad the team out. Valkyrie can redeploy the team etc

Yeah, they figured that out so Noah switched to octane and Tim switched to caustic and they started do way better.
Best advice I can give, keep doin what ya doin my guy, that big ass smile at the end is what we all want to see. As a day 1 apex player too, you’re doing just fine, playing like a true pro. Keep up the awesome work!
Tips for Nick: sit in front of a door while filling your shields so they can't open the door. Of course, they can bust through in two kicks, but just feel it out. Also, I highly recommend watching Aceu, It'sTimmy, and Jankz. Good luck, brother!

And if you see them about to kick in your door let them and back up alil and get the first shot off they’ll be surprised and the door won’t be broken cause you backed away then you can close the door again before taking too much damage

@@mannyfresh7065 yea it’s the same it just makes you kick when you’re trying to melee a door
general movement tip: if you want to move the fastest possible while travelling around the map, slide every two seconds, since that’s the minimum time it takes for you to reach max velocity so you get a good slide and not a ‘dead slide’ (which is when you slide but don’t gain that extra forward momentum)
Slide jump for movement and u can slide off of corners of edges to move fast too
One stack of syringes, one stack of medkits, 8-12 cells, one stack of shotty ammo, 6-8 bats, the rest ammo for ur main gun and throwables and h shluld be good, also heal behind doors, u can pop two cells, gets angles through windows, most buildings have multiple entrances and windows so force ppl off the door by peeking form the other side and the rampage can shoot through doors btw

Here’s a tip: instead of stopping and aiming down sight to see through the heartbeat sensor, you can just hold the tactical ability and cancel it when you’re done because you move the same speed as running with nothing in your hand.

I’ve played since day two, I’m so happy to see you’re enjoying apex. As you get better positioning is #1 and IMPERATIVE to placing high and winning ranked games. Once in diamond it’s all sweats from there. Having a good squad with good communication is so important.

Get used to shield swapping. It saves time and often wins you fights and preps you quickly for the next. Even dropping an empty red for a full white one can help you winning a gunfight.

Bro these comments are so nice helping nick get better at the game, it’s so awesome for community helping big streamers and by the nick you could custom bind your controls to be like warzone like switch the bumbers and melee and crouch button
You’ll learn most by watching other streamers that play controller on pc, nicewigg, daltoosh, snipe down... etc if u keep w the game and then team up w them y’all will be unstoppable and you’ll get even more recognition in the apex world
Tip for nick: shield swaps are huge. You can hit the jump button as you’re about to enter the death box of a dead legend and you can quickly swap the shield for instant health.
This is absolutely huge. A step further: if there are multiple deathboxes after a fight and one of your teammates is getting rezzed and you think a third party is coming, grab a fresh one from a box and drop it at your downed teammates feet for him. Then grab another fresh one for yourself. Once he's back up he'll at least have a chance

Tip for Nick: Up the sensitivity for looting boxes does effect any other sensitivity but makes it easier and faster to Loot and armor swap. Loving the content!!!

Try to learn the wall jump, it’s a extra boost while running (jumping off the wall) it’s kind hard to master, crouch spam if someone has a shotgun it’s hard for them to hit you while moving

Its better to strafe left right left left for anything other than a shotgun
You have to stop touching the key binds or buttons and then click jump when your on the wall

Flatline, Scout combo is pretty solid. As for tips: When equipping a shotgun, only have one slot dedicated to your shotgun ammo. You really don't need much ammo for the shotties.

Nick I watch you and the boys and I respect the change the way war zone is at the moment is horrendous and apex is really trying to keep all aspects fresh and fun. It’s good to see you guys switching it up and having fun playing something else.
301 and flatline are always good and very dependable from every range, even when you hipfire them. Prowler is hands down best gun close range (volt is also solid), Rampage is good medium/long range. Wingman is goated if you can hit your shots consistently, and LSTAR is insane. You’re on the right path Nick. LOVE TO SEE YOU ON APEX BRO!!
Flatline hipfire is crazy good, when you dont aim in and have a good movement playstyle and beam people, it's really good. Peacekeeper is also a little underrated, it can get good 100-70 health crits and with good movement players, its very deadly
and the prowler has 100% accuracy when hip firing
Only issue with the pk is its inconsistency its not too reliable
Wouldn’t recommend peacekeeper for people learning the game. That shit sometimes misses and you lose fights because of that, once you got the movement the peacekeeper slaps 100%
I’m so glad I found this page bro. I never played war zone but I found nick and Tim like a month ago and they were funny enough to keep me entertained. Then I started playing Apex obsessively about a week ago and nick moved to apex around the same time? Everything lined up perfectly. Now I have content creators that are actually fun to watch that play the game I olay

Something that really helps me nick is changing the damage I do to stacked. Instead of ticking 14,14 it just shows how much damage you do overall. It helps if you’re trying to see if you can push or not.

Little tip: When in a close gun fight, always try to aim for the chest and head area, it’s a guarantee win, especially when you’re already a good shot….

Your aim is always good nick. But movement and healing and knowing when to kill is key in this game. Same as all the others except it’s takes longer to kill someone .

Since your on controller prowler is a great gun and hip fire in this game is broken especially on roller. Love seeing all the boys hop on my favorite BR and giving it the love it deserves! Keep up the excellent work all the Apex community is behind you!
wingman and volt is my favorite load-out, you got range and close its a more aggressive load-out.

Definitely loving seeing Nicki on the Apex grind! Couple things I see as a tip for you would be to def adapt to shield swapping mid fights (an Apex exclusive that takes a bit of getting used to lol) and prioritize batteries! Those things are gold in this game! Other than that keep up the reps and you’ll do great just like you always do boss!
Tip for Nick: For controller I recommend you increase your menu cursor speed so you can loot faster maybe don’t crank it up all the way but just half of the menu cursor speed bar. Also love the gameplay man.
In a few months we’ll all re watch this and laugh at how bad Nick was when he first started streaming Apex.

Legit hyped to have you playing apex
So there’s a few setting I always recommend! The biggest ones being the cursor speed, color blind to the one that start with a D, and alc settings. Cursor speeds helps with looting speed, the color blind will make digital threat enemies be blue instead of red (helps with frames and seeing enemies in storms and heat shields) , alc helps controller players be even nastier 😂

Tip for Nick: when you’re in any gunfight, the biggest thing you can do is crouch spam and strafe. The strafe in apex is the best strafe in gaming in my opinion, it’s op asf. Try to figure out how to be unpredictable when you’re crouch spamming and strafing. Do them both at the same time, but try to be unpredictable with it. My bad brotha I talk to much lol. Hope this helps

I noticed yesterday you can actually aim in with seers hands for the heartbeat so you don’t have to get your guns out everytime to scan, you got me onto apex to and I’m so glad man I LOVE this game

Prioritize healing shields first. That's your lifeline more than anything.

For Seer: Hold his tactical to use his heartbeat sensor without slowing to ADS. To cancel just swap to your weapon again

Tip for Nick: This game is all about movement. You can outplay someone with purple when you have blue or white just by being super mobile and moving constantly. Landing shots attributes to this ofc but the game is ALL about movement!
Tip for Nick: If you aren't already, switch to "hold to crouch" instead of toggle. It will make movement feel much smoother in this game, you can crouch spam WAY easier, and also allows for a higher skill ceiling as you can bunny hop very easily by simply holding down your crouch button and spamming jump.
