Out of all other reviewers, channels, yours is my fav in term of editing, voice tone, review depth. You really put jokes aside and go on all about on airsoft but not too serious.
Oof, Ya boi got an EC301. Though its really plain, it can look just as good as any other high end AEG. After playing it a lot and greasing the gearbox, it's one of the quietest AEGs i've heard and get a lot of questions about and has basically no whining sound as you fire. All you hear is the small pop of the air releasing and a low pitched, quiet yet quick gear spin delay. After putting in a prometheus barrel, my FPS deviation's about 1-2 fps. Extremely solid build as i've dropped it countless times and the finish is still pretty good after stripping paint from it about 5 times. The 301 uses a Castle Nut for the buffer tube rather than a screw so it can be taken off by hand, and the spring can be taken out by hand. Extremely accurate AEG and would recommend to anyone looking for a good base to build from and have a really nice shooting rifle. After running it for 2 years, i just swapped the barrel, the bucking and put a lot of externals, but the rifle does the rest itself from there. Dunno if mine was just a lucky one, but mine has almost no problems. Greatest pros are probably how quiet it is, fps deviation (if you swap the barrel), v2 quick swap system, base platform and build quality. Obviously there are better AEGs out there, but from what i've experienced, its probably one of the best AEG's you can get for its price and can outperform some higher AEG's with some very small upgrades like the barrel.

Had the E&C 605 (MK18) for about 2 years now and have been the workhorse of my videos. I haven't done any maintenance nor taken it apart even once. Running an 11.1v lipo on it ever since and never had issues. I'm just waiting for some internals to fail and then buy it a better one 😁
you guys are doing a really good job covering all price ranges setups and overall gun reviews, you guys should sell "starter bundles" for each price range in ranges of $100, hell id buy one just to have a starter pack for any friends that wanna try playing
Best value for your money for AEGs. I’ve got the older MK18 without quick change spring and it’s one of my fav. Easily upgradable. Honestly I would recommend this brand over a lot of the other “popular” brands. New ones with the quick change spring system is just no brainer to pick this brand
Honest Review: I bought an EC-324 (xm177e2). Externals are divine. Full metal, accurate stock and handguard. When I went to the range to test it, you can hear the piston smacking the cylinder head really hard. I can compare the sound to blinker light ticking. Upgrade the gearbox as soon as possible or put a spacer in front of the piston head.

Looking at E&C's they seem surprisingly similar to Specna Arms Edge series. Same approach in terms of building a product line - internals are the same across the line, with the only difference being the barrel length. But Specna wins due to the Mosfet being installed by default on the Edge series. So... go Specna Arms? On a side note - glad I've found your channel. I enjoy the way you create and present airsoft-related content. Keep up the good work!

However build quality of the new Specna is not as good as the old , lots of bearing failures. Plus outside America you can get E&C with nice laser or engraved trademarks
By this logic, for those of us who keep reading that the old Specna One series was better than the Core and Edge and interested in that level of quality, we should now look at E&C instead of Specna, yes?
great review - never heard of E&C before, so they're from Hong Kong? I'll look into them. I checked out their website, they say they shoot up to 410 fps - are they easy to upgrade?
In regards to the trademarks, that's weird because my EC-826 (Civilian LVOA clone), has Warsport and LVOA markings out of the box, and every other E&C rifle I've seen in a shop has markings aswell (SEAL, Colt...etc) although I'm in SEAsia. I guess E&C didn't do that to their western batch to avoid drawing the attention of the manufacturers.
Depends, we order all our models directly from E&C with quick change so 100% of the models we carry had this feature. It's super handy in Canada due to our import regulations. If you're not Canadian I suggest contacting your local shop to see if the models have the feature.
E&C's Mags are easy to use, the scroll teeth on those mags are big and it let's your finger scroll and load the hi-cap easily, that's what I like about their mags.
I guess what I am asking is do you think this is a good platform for upgrading as I would like to do some performance upgrades. I have had other brands and some of them are not good in colder weather or not robust or reliable. Would you say this brand is robust?

What are you looking to improve? Hopup/barrel for accuracy, deans, motor, mosfet for trigger response. Honestly E&C's are pretty darn good stock, so I'd look into stuff that will help you out on the field first like extra batteries, extra mags, good eyepro etc.
Metal piston body, because E&C gearboxes have a slight problem of the last tooth on the piston chipping after a while. Otherwise, that's about it. The motor also probably, because E&C's motor is underpowered, although TBH that'll only matter if you run it through full-auto constantly. Otherwise that's about it. Everything else like the spring, barrel...etc is just to improve performance if you want to be competitive (and some money to throw away).

Video weight is our own measurement, website would be copied from the manufacturers website. I’d say our UA-cam measurement is more accurate as it’s 1st hand information. Factory measurement might be fully loaded with battery

General not advised unless you put in some upgrades namely a mosfet to protect the trigger contacts. I'd still avoid full auto though as 11.1 30c will run the gears hard.

Easiest way is upgrading motor (go with high torque over high speed even if you're after rof), and switching out to a lighter spring. Jumping to a higher voltage battery is another option but usually requires other considerations like mosfet and other internal upgrades to be able to handle the higher power.
Look inside the stock, there is large screw that attached the stock to the body that sits behind where the battery fits. You may need a long screw driver, sorry not sure which type exactly but use a flashlight and you will be able to see it
I got an EC303 about a year ago as my first gun. After about 5 hours of playing (not even roughly) my gears were stripped. The exterior of the gun was good however E&C has horrible internals in my opinion.

I had an ec. Hopup wore down in less than 5 games and didnt feed well. It was accurate and affordable i suggest getting goid mags.

Good observation :) specna arms is actually made by E&C. The mosfet is specna arms own spec they give the factory to install.

We custom order our e&C's factory direct without markings to avoid any trademark infringement
I know you said the bolt system is like VFC, but will the E&C fit a VFC upper and vice versa?

Koala Tactical E&C HK 416 series are identical receiver specs as the VFC 416's. I'm not sure about the other models though.

Go for the Platnium, they actually have mosfets and they have rotary hopups.

Yes 7.4v lipo will be just fine in the E&C. 11.1v would be too much power.

Not all E&C's have quick changes. The ones in this video as well as the 301 have quick changes.
