What makes Jo Koy so special is the way he reenacts these anecdotes. He's such a talented story teller, encouraging the audience get fully immersed. And I think that's why all of his jokes are so good with perfect delivery every time.
From my experience as a black man living all over Asia, and being around them in the states, Philipinos are the most welcoming hospitable, down to earth, fun to be around group of people I've ever met. So, I married one lol. The older ladies have no filter when in discussion about certain things. My wife's mom asked me to come over for dinner, she said " You already know how we always cook plenty of food, and I cook extra fired chicken this time, because I know you black guy like it, and it's good" She wasn't trying to be offensive one bit ...I just had to crack-up laughing 😂😂😂 I know that info had to come from my wife
We are the most indirectly racist people in the world. We don't go the hate route at all, we go more on the love part kind of thing. I guess it comes with our hospitable nature, I guess.
Darriel Kyeremaa Don't take it to heart man. Our racism stems from plain ignorance and brain washing from the media. But we're coming around as we get more educated. And I assure you, if you've made Filipino friends, you're got yourself a second family.
I am with my Filipina fiancé, she always flex with me when she's angry which is funny because she's 4'10" and I'm 6'3". But I love her feisty attitude too, she's tough like your mom.
LeMarc C that's really cute, Filipinos always do that. Trying to flex when they want to threaten someone, but instead they look adorably funny at times 😂
I am at the ER right now but my nurse who is philipina immediately recognized him. She is so nice and gentle she made me feel better. I have only had great experiences with philipinos. I used to rent a room in a townhome owned by a philipino family. They always treated my son and I with respect. They even invited us to their son's graduation and gave us Christmas presents. We lived there for six months. Left only because my youngest son was coming to live with us.
Hehe yep, I agree. Philippines male culture. Whether in Manila or in L.A., almost the same thing. In Manila: hanging out with your buddies, watching basketball with fried chicken and San Miguel beer. I’m mixed white and Filipino I remember inviting my black friend to my house to play halo 3 in sixth grade lmao worst mistake! my mom literally bought Publix fried chicken for lunch and told us to go outside and play basketball or football 😂
