      Thank you! If you end up liking this one, I would highly recommend trying the Altbier. They are similar, but the Altbier has a little more malt depth and instead of a rustic American hop character, it has a healthy dose of noble hop character.

    awesome video and the beer looks very delicious............what yeast nutrient do you use, and do you check yeast viability before reuse..........just trying to understand, how many generations this strain can be stretched, your process is solid...........cheers

      Thank you! I use White Lab's nutrient WLN1000, which has worked well for me. Also, I do check yeast viability. I use a standard microscope and White Lab's Microscope kit, which comes with a hemocytometer for cell counting and methylene blue stain for viability. We can get upwards of 10 - 15 generations of our house ale yeast and around 5 generations of our lager yeast.

    Words of improvement: list your ingredients (water salts, grain, hops, yeast) on the screen and in the description of the video.
