Mesh feature is great. I have been looking for it and thinking about developing it on a custom drone. You can have multiple drones that can fly in a coordinated way to perform multiple tasks. Zoom is great. You can fly far away from the object and be satisfy the restrictions of flying near those objects.
You never mention the zoom for the thermal cameras in these reviews, only the optical daytime camera. How far can you zoom with the thermal camera on this?
You know I certainly hope they do make good on additional payloads. The Evo 2 had this and the port but found very few companies doing anything with the SDK. I certainly hope this will be what should ha e been with Evo
Any future plans of doing another side by side comparison of the 4T and the M30T once all of the AUTEL features come in? Really enjoy your vids, sir. Thank you.
@@AerialInfluence Awesome! I’m really torn between these two. Big price difference, but I just want to make sure the 4T is all it was hyped up to be (the updated, final product) before committing. Thanks again, sir.
I purchased lightly used EVO 2 dual 640R (US FLIR BOSON) vERSION 1 for $3200. Little did I know the difference about the thermal sensor and the 640T chinese sensor. I have seen the comparison video of each sensor and seems the FLIR is somewhat better for roofing and solar inspections but you have to pay for the software. the Evo 2 640T v2 you can use the free IRPC tool for reports. What in your opinion would be the better for that price? Just need some personal advice Thank you Ed Ghosn UDS, LLC
Thanks for the video. Does the object ID/tracking for humans work for the thermal feed too? For public safety, it would be nice to see some footage with the drone moving while searching around for people. Would also be good to find out what its real world flight time is.
The thermal sensor doesn’t do tracing, but you can record both the thermal and the zoom at the same time, so if you track using the zoom, you can switch to thermal and it should continue to track. I don’t know if that makes sense… flight time is listed at 42 minutes. Closer to 3T real world.
@@AerialInfluence Thanks, I understand. But that means no tracking in darkness, unfortunately. How does the object ID work? Seems like they could get it functional for thermal as well. Have you heard if this new flight app will be made to work with the Evo II series? What was the real world time...35 or 36? Would be great if you could run a test to see for sure and to list what percentage you landed at. Thanks.
I asked Autel about the swappable payload and this is the response they sent. I'm sorry, the camera of our EVO Max 4T drone is a payload integrated with four functions: wide-angle camera, zoom camera, thermal imager and laser rangefinder. It is set by the factory and cannot be changed.
Autel discontinued consumer drum batteries from two years ago This is a company that is almost belly up and no longer gives a damn about consumer drones Save your money.

Definitely will do an update video for the M30t vs Evo Max 4T. Thanks for watching!

How is the laser used for photogrammetry? Or any other jobs?

The anti jamming anti interference. That is very interesting
and working!!

Who makes a search light for the Alltel Evo Max 4T ?
Would you know if the camera shoots in RAW as well as JPEG ? Thanks
excellent video mann 👍👏
I'm intrigued. A lot of features
Thanks for watching!
I think i was quoted 879 for 1 year autel care. .... it was something like this.... anyway something to consider when pricing this out all the way
Excellent review. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for watching!
Does it come standard with remote id? And if it does can you turn it on and off like some of the higher end drones I've seen?
It does come with remote ID standard. I’m not aware of a drone that allows you to turn Remote ID off completely.
No reason to br concerned about remote ID if you are following the regs

Go to the 2:00 mark of this video where Autel’s head of drones talks about the swappable payloads. ua-cam.com/video/hFSokQcZdzM/v-deo.html
Thank you for that. That will be great
hi can you make 360 panorama mone ?
How long do the batteries last for?
Rated for around 41 minutes.
If we could just get them on the approved purchase (blue list).
Crap I just bought m3t wtf lol, I think this might be next pick especially with being able to switch payload
Also DJI is getting banned by most government agencies across the country.
Nice info
Thank you!
What about remote id?
It is remote ID compliant.
I need this to hunt for Bigfoot

These seem to send most of their production to Ukraine
