Your mom is exactly like me. I do not fertilize. All I do is water my plants and repot and I have about 100 plants in my home and they are all healthy and growing nicely. Some are 20yrs old. All healthy. 🪴🪻
I love your plant collection. How long did it take for your bird of paradise to grow so tall? And your beautiful art piece from Todd Berrier, I think? Love your decor
Thank you so much!!!! My birds of a paradise in my home is a very slow growing plant, like very slow. I don’t know if it’s me or if that’s just its temperament but I’ve had it for about 3 years and it’s given me only 2 leaves in that time. And I’m not familiar with the artist I inherited the art from my mom because I’ve always loved it but thank you for a name!!! I can look it up now lol. And thank you so much!!
That painting in the beginning is really really pretty! May i ask where you got it from? Also, you got a very lovely plant collection. I agree this hobby can be very therapeutic. I enjoy it alot. Another question for you: have you ever dealt with any pests? And how did you proceed? I've been dealing with some here and there but I always like to know other people's experiences in dealing with them. Also, when you filled the bathtub with the plants, the mix of colours looked so pretty! What species is the plant in right side side with the big wide green leaves? Looks gorgeous. I found your channel today and really enjoyed this video. Im subscribing and look forward to see more! Cheers!
Thank you so much!!! I appreciate that. I dealt with mealy bugs and spider mites in the past. Mealy bugs much easier to deal with. Spider mites I found the most success with captain jacks neem oil. It smells hideous to be honest and I am open to exploring more natural routes this year. The one on the far right is a monstera pinnatipartita. I haven’t killed it yet but I am learning more about it as it’s not behaving in a way I am familiar with. The painting in the beginning is actually from Marshalls!!!! I got it a few years ago but I see the styles often. If you have any tips from your experience please let me know 😂😂😂
@@secretlyhedonist21 Thanks for the info! If you ever get a carnivorous plant I can help you by giving you some tips. Ive been growing them for years and theyre gorgeous. There are some species that do very well inside!
