Thank you Natalie for your videos, I find them good for people who has already a little awareness of own body!!! I use some of your exercises... hope to meet you one day and practice togheter ;)
Yes, ma’am. Step by step. I am not going to attempt it now, only in my dream maybe. XD I know how much you must have put in and gone through to make it look so easy and with no struggle at all. It’s very inspiring, and a joy to watch as always.💕
Hi, yes. I am making one. There will also be a Vimeo channel soon where I will publish more detailed videos. Happy that you are interested in handstands! :)
Cheers Natalie! Wonderful lesson as always. It would be soooo wonderful to have a long course of one handstand like the one you did for press to handstand. I wish 2022 will be the year we can see that from the best handstand teacher in the world! 🙂
Hi Tom, thanks for encouraging me :) ! I want to do a one arm course. Got a bit burnt out with making so many videos in the last two years, but your words give me a good push :)
@@NatalieReckert So happy to hear that! The most important thing is your happiness and well-being, but if you manage to have time and desire for the course, I think many of us will very happy, as other courses on the internet are far from your quality. I wish you all the best professionally and personally. You're a very sweet teacher and many of us spent many hours following your routines. That's what happens in this era and when you live in the countryside and you like circus arts, lol...
Thank you very much Natalie! Love your awesome exercise selection with clear instruction, great explanation, beautiful demonstration, and detailed tips! Kind regards:)
she makes it look so easy this is really astonishing. I have a question. How important is flexibiity? i am not very flexible, i cannot put the straddle as wide as she does it in the video, not even near to her straddle split.
Hiya, flexibility is a huge help. If your hamstrings are tight you need to kick harder and make sure you round your back even more because your body will want to compensate by sticking the chest out. I see many people in my classes mastering the kick up with limited mobility. For a btter straddle you may like this: Straddle stretches ua-cam.com/video/vcJ6rHoyUbk/v-deo.html
@@NatalieReckert ok thanks... yeah my record is 5 seconds straddle but very inconsistent... every 200 tries i can hold it one time for 5 seconds xD... but i am training it only for 1 months specifically... i am still trying to find the right spot with my hips and feet... as i said unfortunately for me i am not very flexible so i have to help myself in some other way^^
2 years have gone by. I'm still doing handstands at gym . Getting easy to balance with 2 arms . One arm. I'm holding a stable bar with right hand and holding left arm handstand. 60 seconds. How are you doing. It's been years since I've watched you.
hello good morning .. first thank you for this video and the time you dedicate to us all. It is a good level and I like the challenge, I am very interested in continuing and being able to give continuity to the practice. today I started and it really is not easy. my two arms are not equal is easier on one side than on the other, and I can only reach up to support the five fingers to one side ..... how long will it take me? I hope I can achieve it before Christmas. I really like your technique and your way of teaching, you have it clear oo siiiii ... greetings and good day ... abrasoles
Hi Alexander, thank you. That sounds great. Yes it is quite challenging. It's normal that one arm is stronger than the other. Give yourself a bit more time then until Christmas. I usually tell people who want to learn a one arm handstand that 6 months up to a year is a realistic time frame. Keep working and it will pay off.
hi natalie, i have problem with balance keeping straddle form during shifting weight, I feel like my core/ lower back was not strong enough to catch it because i tend to fall backward. However, I trained my lower back/core daily and i have to admit it is strong already, still dont know how to balance handstand with straddle form (my feeling was like my hip always way to far that keeps me falling while personally cannot pull it back during balance). It weirdly feels much different from normal handstand while I can control my stomach towards spine
My guess is that your straddle flexibility is not great, so your legs are too piked (too much to the front) and to compensate you need to bumb the hips quite far back.
Hi Miss Natalie. Your video is fantastic !!!.Btw Idk if i'm asking too much, but can you plz make a video about how to have a better toe point in handstand ? My toe point is still pretty bad when in inversion position. If u do i thank you very much :D
thanks for replying natalie :D. But i don't understand what u're saying here. You think toe pointing is important or not important at all ?. I'm a bit a confused here :p
Hello Nat, I really appreciate you for providing this vid. However, my torso keep rotating as soon as I shift body weight and take off my supporting hand. Any advice on this?? I have no idea what is problem.
Hello, the rotation is a common problem, be patient it may take while to fix. Mainly you need more strength in your oblique abdominals. Depending on which direction you twist you can imaging that your hip and the opposite shoulder of the side you are twisting towards are connected, pulling together accros your front.
your videos are my bible, i have a question how need to be one routine with press hs, hs and one arm hs? i want to train all that and the v-sit or manna but that is only core strength. i am beginer and have problem with my hs is in over-balance alwais :c.... you are the best :D!!!!
Hi, thank you very much! Really appreciate your feedback. I will publish more routines on presses here on UA-cam and also on my vimeo channel. Keep practicing :)
Hello Mohanad, No you don't have to do splits, you can also hold the one arm handstand with your legs in a V-shape or with your legs together. One arm handstands in a straddle is just one way of doing it. But I would recommend that you work on lower body mobility nonetheless, because it is useful and important for most physical tasks. Best wishes
You need to have a good upper body strength and doing pushups is very useful. But it is the most important to actually practice the handstand shape and get a good technique. Cause you can see Im not exactly a hulk either ;) If you want to get super strong check my 7 seven week handstand course on Vimeo, it is very challenging and takes you through all the basics of handstand practice.
Haha, talking all the way through it without voiceover, you're such a machine.
I really appreciate the work you put in to make this video! Thank you!
My 2019 goals, is to be able to hold one arm handstand, wish me luck!! :D
Yay! Keep practicing daily, it is possible if you work hard! It feels very powerful to master! Keep going!

5 seconds on one arm... normal handstand is no problem :)
while I have my hand supported I maintain the position then when I remove it my hip twists
20 seconds holding on five fingers both sides, that is your task now! 10 reps. Every day.
I'm the only one at my gym who does handstands. Im doing 7 s. One arm. Need to do your exercises.

Were you able to do it by Christmas? I'd say you should exercise your weaker arm/hand until it's the same strength as the stronger one.
