That is the most amazing feat of strength I've ever seen. And to do a summersault after all that. Well I'm blown away. He must be so solid that if he was hit by a truck the truck would come off worse
Hand balancing is one of the most visually impressive things for me. Just the endurance it took for that guy's performance is insane, then the rest of the skills required to do that.....WOW.
Man I'm loving the music. It really intensifies the performance and this dude is a specimen, a walking human anatomy chart, a greek god, just amazing. This performance ignites a hot blazing fire within me to be the strongest that I can be with what God has given me naturally: PASSION AND DESIRE FOR TRUE ULTIMATE STRENGTH AND POWER with the ability to display it artistically.
@southoreast In fact he lifts weights 5 days a week; he just goes to a gym near to where the circus is staying in the moment. I know this because he said this in a local newspaper of Munich when his circus was here.
I'm thinking that the initial "mistake" of pushing the stacked blocks out too far with one of his hands was actually done on purpose for dramatic effect...?
Great act. I'd guess the wobbling at 2.45 is intentional, as I can't think how he couldn't control the sideway movement of hes hands. Adds dramatic to the act. For the muscles, the power moves he does do require lots of force in the joints, which is what big muscles are good for. I'd quess though that he wouldn't need all the muscle groups that big, but hes looks makes this act unique. Show needs more than just physical performance. This is a show.
I agree. It pisses me off that people tend t dismiss someone who uses steroids, just for the sake of him using steroids. Let us be honest, Entcho spends 5 hours a day training, 3 hours on his hands, overhead, 2 in the gym. That is a brutal workout schedule and the way he does it, unlikely to work without steroids. But that doesn't matter, since he is basically the best living handbalancer with his physique out there and it definitely does not undo his 35 hours of physical training per week.
I worked for years in the circus as a performer. I worked next to many acrobats, balancers and aerialists. I am 100% certain that none of them ever used steroids. I would guess that this guy does not come from a circus family.
Insane, really made me keen on equillibbristics ! Btw He trains both in a normal bodybuilding manner and practices his show routine like every day. I've seen interviews with him, thats what he said.
He is capable, yes, but not exceptional. If I pay money to see a show, I want to see an exceptional performer, not someone who is capable. I'm not interested in watching his beautiful, manly body, that's for the girls to enjoy. The extra weight he carries around makes the performance slow and fumbling, just see how he struggles at 2:45 to get up. Therefore I'd feel conned because this is not what I paid to see.
I don't think he performs well, that performance could have been done far better by someone slimmer and nimbler. He's like a bloated elephant doing balancing acts. It's spectacular, but not very efficient. Ultimately, it's confusing, I don't know if the audience are cheering his performance or his physique. He is a dishonest act but he doesn't fool me.
Bullshit, his legs are big too, besides the advantage of a slightly higher center of gravity is negligent. He has completely the wrong type of muscles, like a bodybuilder, whereas you need smaller, stabilizing muscles for these type of exercises. Every sport has it's own requirements, for example, a weight lifter could never run a marathon.
I don't get it. On every video I see there is ALWAYS someone who dislikes them. C'mon, who would dislike this video??? It gives no sence, did they have a bad day or what? Lol imagine that "Man my day sucked, I'm gonna release all my anger on UA-cam by disliking random videos." -.-*
I challenge him in handstand contest. the handbalancers test of strength the tiger bend. see video entitled challenge to all humans, any one reading can try .
Thank you! Now try convincing the people on this page who seem to think that this man liftts weights. They're too ignorant to see that doing these type of bodyweight routines is more than enough to tank you up. Look at Yuri Van Gelder. The dude's a bulldog.
Of course a performer needs to look the part. But this guy looks out of place. He doesn't have the correct physique. Therefore the acts would necessarily have a lower quality to them. He's passing himself off as something he isn't'. He is a con artist.
I wonder if he bulks up on the side or if most of his bulking comes from actually practicing routines. I figure it would be making it harder for himself if he just bulks up extra on the side for cosmetic purposes?
Yes this is the show and this part 2.45 you speak. You can make like him onli if you have his confident. And this rely special circus number. I have chance to see this number alive last year. And I tell you the audiance go crazy.
He's a douchebag. His muscles are mainly for show, you don't need to be that big for those exercises. Actually, it's a hindrance, because it just adds weight.
while hes doing it every vein on his body is popping and he looks like he's about to pass out and this is pretty much pure strength mostly but still, its amazing
the first move is a stradlle planche and in regard of strengh, the hardest in his routine. how is he preparing this move (0.28) thanks for connecting!!!
that is awesome. Years and years of training. NO HOMO . by the way, your body is crazy. you´re trapezius muscle is just insane. I love circus! peace love and success. Andrew

I like the combination of calisthenics and handbalancing
beautiful.
Hand Balancing for life.
This guy is hella ripped, he is in better condition than a navy seal
@southoreast

This is so fucking inspiring. Anyone have any idea where I can get myself some hand balancing stands?
this is what the human body is meant for
wtf, i just accidently clicked on this video , and watched it for the whole 5:46 seconds...this guy is not human,
ok is Encho a bodybuilder or acrobat or both? wow - you don't get those muscles from just acrobatics!
where did you see this documentary? what kknd of other training does he do besides hand balancing?
I just want his workout routine and his diet plan, please and thank you...
I am, actually.
And I know a lot more about handbalancing than you do, obviously, to know that this is something that doesn't take steroids.
Grow up

He is far from best living handbalancers. But still, it is awesome.

beast mode: engaged
This guy has been standing on his arms as much his legs
The video that started it all
Brabooo
I saw this performance few times and I won't more and more :)
Insane, really made me keen on equillibbristics !
Btw He trains both in a normal bodybuilding manner and practices his show routine like every day. I've seen interviews with him, thats what he said.

Psycho ..MASTERRRR...
He's a douchebag. His muscles are mainly for show, you don't need to be that big for those exercises. Actually, it's a hindrance, because it just adds weight.
You are mistaken, I'm not knocking him. I'm making some valid points which people here are overlooking. It's called "constructive criticism".
If he was walking down the street, people would think "football player" or "boxer" not... gymnast or hand balancer, or performer.
the amount of skill this man has is fucking mindblowing..........im curious as to what kind of training he had to perform this feat.......
squat, bench press and dedlift
@rozzerqwer its not actually, it would be weird if everybody in the world could balance on their hands all day
can you ask him for the first move, the straddle planche? or maybe his e-mail..., would be very nice
My god this guy is fucking awesome...is strenght is terrible!!!! and is moves are incredible 10/10 !
