This song so deserved better than the bargain-basement, cheap Casio synth production it got. And so did Shandi. She knocked it out of the park on the "He's A Dream" segment in "Flashdance. I always thought I'd hear more from her, but nope; this killer chorus for MTG was pretty much it. Damn shame. When I think of who, in the Female Solo Vocalist category, made the 80s Big Time and who didn't, Shandi's barest, briefest brush with possibility will always hang my head with incredulous disappointment the lowest.
I saw this movie in the theater when I was 14. It’s still a cool movie to watch now in 2018.
I worked it as a doorman in the theater in 1984...I was 18....still watch it now as well!
