This is freakin' brilliant.. both her signing and the fact that you Sam got to interview her!! What a great day for me!!!!! 🤣 What an incredible human being Viv is.. and I am so glad she got to talk about injuries in the women's game. I do think they know a few things for definite... one being proper training needs to start much earlier in the women's game.. two being the science of how women's cleats need to be better constructed for the way a woman's body moves in the game.... three.. hormones and the women's monthly cycle and the changes that happen in the body and what needs to happen to adapt to these changes.. to keep the athlete at the top of their game and healthy at the same time and then ... four.. women's mental health. Now that is only four that come to mind and I am sure I have forgotten others.. but it's exciting that these are all being looked into at this point and I for one .. can't wait to see what the results are are going to be. My last thoughts.... are I am sooooo very stoked to see Viv playing with her new Man City team mates! What a fllippin' stacked team!!!! Miedema is my daughters idol. She absolutely loves her, despite my daughter being a Chelsea supporter, (Much to my horror because I'm a lifelong Newcastle supporter).

@eastvandb. I feel like I am listening to my cousins that spent a couple of years in Scotland. They came back still saying words like Yorkshire folk, but picked up the accent. Viv sounds Scottish, but the words seem similar to listening to what Beth might say.

I tried to pick up some Dutch watching RTL4, back when my then employer's HQ were in Rotterdam, but the accent defeated me. These days I stick to History With Hilbert. He is Dutch, but was raised a Geordie.
