Hello Sam. I often comment on women's football as a fan, but you know much more about it than I. I am from Yorkshire though and can attempt to talk about Yorkshire puddings. Here, if there are left over bun size Yorkshire Puddings, they are eaten like a dessert with treacle. They are after all the same ingredients as a pancake in UK and it is nearly Pancake Day. I grew up in a city street with people from all over Europe. Italian women neighbours were like extra mums for all the kids, with free pizza, but they used to gather for bun size Yorkshire puddings with treacle given out by a Latvian woman, with a daughter my age, to any kids playing out. They were definitely the best I ever had. A company in York is selling them with a meal stuffed inside, which looks a good way of selling them. I like to make and eat a large one with chili con carne in it. I learned TexMex cooking in Texas from a family with ancestors there before the English speakers. They have Yorkshire ancestry through marriage, so we took them mushy peas to eat on the days they did not have refried beans. The peas taste great with vinegar as a coagulant and mint sauce for flavour served alongside a good pork pie. Who says English food is bland? My girlfriend's family had a house in Valencia province, so I had been to Spain on visits. I have been watching Barcelona women since the former Manchester City players arrived. It is like watching an exhibition game. In my own sport I was just a B team player, but won competitions at city level as an individual and in a team. I always l respected the US desire to win that Lucy described.
