Vivianne Miedema On FIFA UEFA Greed, Women's World Cup, Panic Attacks & Relationship With Beth Mead

- Our guest today is Arsenal and Netherlands striker, Vivianne Miedema.
When her career began in Holland, aged just 14, she was too young to sign the contract herself.
Since then, she’s become the all-time leading scorer in the Women’s Super League; scored more goals for the Netherland’s than any other player, man or woman; won the Euros; played in a world cup final; and signed a quarter of a million pound contract extension with Arsenal F.C. earlier this year - although that is according to the Daily Mail, so who knows.
Despite all the success, she came close to retirement at the age of 18.
Ian Wright says: “She’s the best number 9 in the world and she is the best number 10 in the world. There’s not many players that can do that.”

Wow have watched lots of interviews of Viv but this is the first interview of hers that she talks about everything, her struggles,mental issues, career, personal life. Sometimes we forget that these players are also human but props to her I now I understand her more and I get y she is my favorite female football. Can't wait to see her back on the pitch again. Forever my GOAT

I'm a lifelong Newcastle supporter, sadly for me my daughter is a Chelsea supporter, but we both share the same favourite player, Vivianne Miedema. She's such a class act, a fantastic player, and as we see with this interview she's so humble and honest. My daughter plays football and tried her hardest to model herself on Miedema.

I could listen to Viv for days. I have never watched such a long interview in one piece. It's very interesting and at the same time a nice feeling to hear someone talk about everything in general and learn how the players feel.
You rarely see such thoughtful people in football. Very down to earth, considerate, intelligent and relatable person, especially for me as an introvert 😅. I hope we can get tp someone like that to be in charge of football associations in the future.

Oh my goodness, Viv feels like I do; not celebrating her goals so as not to make the other team feel bad. I especially hate it when a team scores multiple goals on a weaker team and then dances around and doing ridiculous celebrations in the faces of the opposing team. It’s not classy.
