Miele2000 I'd get about an hour of practice every time I played skyrim haha, That's not a bad idea. Just do some lip slurs or scales on every loading screen.
The trombone is such a legendary instrument, perfect range of low and especially high, it can sound mellow, sinister, happy, deppresing, and it's just a fun instrument to play in general.
you sir are a master mind musical genius. Been watching you for years, and you are very inspirational in my career and pushing myself to become better on trombone. congrats on 100,000 subs. this by far had to have been my favorite video. keep up the great work!
+Christopher Bill I'm not sure if you take suggestions but you should try making a series called "Saturday Morning Symphony" where you'd play a whole lotta theme songs from old/new cartoons :D
Tip: JAZZ BAND. Especially in high school, if you reach a higher tier band in your school the music is a lot of fun. I personally prefer playing trombone in my combo group than in big band (I love improvisation), but jazz is still jazz! I do not like most classical type stuff... Yet I like slower more melodically beautiful pieces. But back to my original point, if you like trombone and you want to get good I would HIGHLY recommend studying jazz.
Like you did this video with the video games you should do a collection of movies. Some could include Lord of the Rings, James bond, Harry Potter, Star Wars (great job on duel of the fates btw), etc. I hope you read this comment and consider it! I've been playing for around 5 years now and I love the work you do. Keep it up!
When I viewed this when it first came out, I was completely stumped of hearing anything above a third line G sounding so clear from you. I never thought I'd be able to hit those notes in the stars. A year and a half later in college now, those notes are still stupid to hit, but with practice, lip-slurs, long tones, and a bit of playing out of the box, they are by all means doable now. Thanks for your hard work, motivation, and dedication to music. Thanks specifically for motivating me to meet the bar line toward my principal instrument. Many a times I still haven't quite reached the bar, but progress is progress. :D
Remember, take the current play time and quadruple it. *That's the minimum time it took to record this whole thing.* That's not even including mistakes! Cheers on that man! Absolute legend.

I've been with you since your 1,000 sub video game symphony, and you're still such an inspiration to an aspiring bad trombonist like myself. Please keep up the awesome work, us long-term subs are with you all the way!
I think this was the first video of yours I saw, I play bass clarinet and baritone, and recently purchased a trombone! I'm using it to better learn bass clef, since coming from bass clarinet all I know is treble. Trombone is MUCH harder than it looks, but I'm learning, and anytime I feel like giving up I come back to your videos and it reminds me why I keep going.
I geeked so hard when you rocked out to Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked from the Borderlands 2 soundtrack. Throughout the entire video, the transitions were either subtle and smooth or they were a violent smack in the face like the one from DK64 to GTA5. The entire video is superb! Another fantastic performance!
This was my first Christopher Bill video back in 8th grade. I later went to your Christmas concert in Atlanta my freshman year of high school. I consistantly listen to Half Man, Half Machine and the poster is still on my wall. You've been such an inspiration to me, and I can't thank you enough for being just so awesome. So thank you for everything that you do, and keep creating amazing music.
Hi Chris - it is so clear that you love what you do and once again evidence that loving what you do is an intensely powerful force in creating beauty in our world. Keep up the great work!
Also can't forget to say that this was amazing and my favorite of all the video game series Also a side note, the MGS title is labeled wrong; "Snake Eater" is the main title to 3 and is a vocal chart. What was played is actually in all the Metal Gear Solids. It's kinda like a series main theme. I'm sure there is a name for it but if anything it would just be changed to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Main Theme) Snake Eater-ua-cam.com/video/9aHQnDTd1y4/v-deo.html MGS Series Main Theme-(around 52 seconds) ua-cam.com/video/rNVCD1dsnJI/v-deo.html Only saying all of this because I'm a diehard fan of the series 😭 but overall very impressive arrangement and playing. Would love to be able to play one of your arrangements for my senior recital!
Fucking brilliant man! I used to watch your videos as reference to how my trombone should sound like back when I was in a band and a couple years later you're still bloody great. Although I wished there were more people who appreciated your talent, I guess the world isn't too kind
Chills. Chris, man, you're giving me goosebumps! This is truly amazing. It's astounding to see how far you've come since the last video game symphony 92,000 subs ago. I'm absolutely blown away by everything, the skill, the dedication to your channel and fans, and of course your amazing selection of pieces. Keep being awesome!
Another epic performance! The production beyond the excellent trombone arrangement (graphics, video mix, tight hair bun ;), sound mix, etc.) is amazing as always. Congrats on 100K.
I was just looking for some cool trombone solos...and then I found this song and channel. That's when the memories just started flooding back ;-; thx for being awesome
Absolutely fabulous! man, its been a ride i was there when you made the 1,000 sub video back years ago in the beginning ! I've always loved your videos, me being a fellow trombonist myself! When tf2 played i cheered with happiness, but then right after i shed a tear when you played the FF-X theme, To Zanarkand. (great ending transition btw!) but it was a happy nostalgia tear, two of some of my favorite games back to back. even Donkey Kong country, Kingdom Hearts and more! A lot of games i love in this one. thanks and carry on my Friend! :'D
I can never tell if I want to play video games or practice after watching these
lol
So true
Im drawn too. Its too hard to choose
Just do both ;) I play my trumpet whenever a game is loading!
Miele2000 I'd get about an hour of practice every time I played skyrim haha, That's not a bad idea. Just do some lip slurs or scales on every loading screen.
the flutes called. they want their high notes back
+Ellumanati hahahahahahaha
Brass called. It says they're the oldest wind instruments.
Not true, they were originated by the oldest wind instrument which was the sackbut. But close, very close!
Actually the Hohle Fels Flute is the oldest wind instrument and literally the oldest instrument.
Which was in fact made by cave men.
WII SPORTS WAS SUCH A GOOD ONE TO START WITH. ICONIC
Nice memories coming from it!

Awsome Minecraft Mia Which part is that?
Awsome Minecraft Mia I know right. It was the best part
Awsome Minecraft Mia no the best part was when he was playing the trombone
I especially loved the part with music in it.
my favourite part was where the trombone made a sound
Never seen so many manbuns in one place before.
That high note at the very beginning sounds sooo nice!
Al Alex it's a double high G flat on bass clef
Not Mario did you know it is still a Gb in treble clef
Andrew Wallace doesn't it transpose to an A flat on treble clef?
Not Mario Yes.
Not Mario no, the sheet music and my ear say Gb
6:40 is megalovania. Saved ya time
