Sebastean, I was exaggerating about how bad my range was, but that note in question is probably super high Bb but could also be the Bb above that... For comparison, our warm-up scale ends an octave before super high Bb, so if he's playing the higher one then he's 3 octaves above what the first note trombones learn is.

So honest question here; I’m assuming lots of people who clicked on this video play the Trombone. But I do not. It would appear that they are reading sheet music of some sorts. How do you know where each note is? I play the piano, and if I pointed to “Middle C” someone could easily see it, and play a C-note. However, I’m assuming that this is not the case with this instrument. Is it just a feeling thing after a while?

We spend a lot of time touching the bell.
No, really. 3rd position is just "above" the bell (on the mouthpiece side of the bell), and 4th is just "below" it. So most of us will extend a finger or 2 toward the bell when we're playing a note in 3rd or 4th position. You can see several of the players in this video doing that.
Even better, a lot of the notes can be played at more than one slide position. When you get trigger valves involved, it's even more fun!
