  • In this video I finish off one or two bits on the lower cowl and oil cooler duct, on my Fisher Youngster.
My videos are not intended to be instructional for building aircraft or the kit, they are to share how I am progressing and my methods. You may get ideas and tips for building an aircraft. My methods are those I have learnt or developed over time with aircraft, cars and boats. IF YOU USE MY METHOD ON YOUR AIRCRAFT, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. Feel free to comment and give advice or ask questions, I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.

You probably should get a CT or CAT scan. I put up with neck pain for several years before I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. Some exercises will help depending on what the scans find. The plane is looking good!

I am so sorry to hear of your woes but I do understand having suffered aches, pains an stiffness myself. It takes a lotof "get-up-and-go" out of you. As for the off-set air filter I can understand your feelings but I wouldn't worry too much, as you said you won't be running many people over !!!! Regards Michael

I think my pains are part of getting old and having been a bad lad when younger. I will see if I can put up with the off set, it shouldn't be too noticable to the normal people out there.

Im sorry to hear, you are still in pain and the stiff neck. That is certainly not fun. Have you thought about talking to your doctor about it and ask for an MRI? Sometimes there could be bulging or herniated disc’s without knowing it and nerve pinching without knowing it. I think there is only so much pain one can
tolerate. Whether you are getting older or not . Perhaps something to consider. The video was great and hopefully you don’t have too much more to work on 😊

@@AngelikaJuliana Thanks for the advice. There is still lots to do on the plane, aileron controls o finish off, wings and tail to cover, radio to fiit, finish off engine fire wall and a load of other little bits to do, but a lot of that needs me to be a bit more flexible 😞

@@flyingkub That sounds like you still have quite a bit of work to do. I think you will get it all done. It might take a little more time, but most importantly is to take care of yourself. If you don’t take care of yourself you can’t take care of anything else 😊

Don't let perfect be the enemy of good enough. Air filter is fine "as-is"!

Thank you for your thoughts. It is a pain in more ways than one, when you want to get on with a job and it takes you twice as long to get in position and even then it hurts. Hay ho got an appointment to see a quack soon.
