- In this video I don’t do too much but at least I make some progress on the fuel system, by sorting out the Gascolator mounting / through firewall fitting, on my Fisher Youngster.
Recorded during the week ending 14th July 24.
My videos are not intended to be instructional for building aircraft or the kit, they are to share how I am progressing and my methods. You may get ideas and tips for building an aircraft. My methods are those I have learnt or developed over time with aircraft, cars and boats. IF YOU USE MY METHOD ON YOUR AIRCRAFT, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. Feel free to comment and give advice or ask questions, I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Nice to see you're still alive.
Carry on.
@@goaway7346 I will carry on. 😀
Nice work Algy.... every little bit counts. She's going to be a beauty.
@@sawyersdad5292 thank you for your kind comments, I think she will be great once completed, it's just going to take a little longer.
I can't wait to see her flying Algy, anodised fittings always look cool. Good work as always.
@@ShortField thanks Terry for looking at my humble offering. I hope to continue to make progress even if a little slower.
Great to see you back!
Thank you. Not so much back but moving forward slowly. 🙂
Good to see you back Algy!
@@JodelFlyer trying to get back to normal, it will be a bit longer I'm afraid before normal service is resumed. Lovely video you did for Northrepps.
@@flyingkub Thank you.
Make sure you take care of yourself Algy.
Nice too see you posted a video ! Hope you are down okay 😊 your plane will be a beauty when you are finished
@@AngelikaJuliana I'm doing OK at the moment. Yes I think it will be lovely when finished.
@@flyingkub I’m glad to hear that! The plane looks already beautiful even though it’s not finished yet. I have to say I can’t wait to see when you take it in to the sky for the first time 😊
👍👍👍👍
🙂
👍
@@Lawiah0 thanks as always.
Good to see you around and a little bit more done. That piece looked expensive and I noticed it was marked "experimental". Is that due to the aircraft type? Cheers Michael
@@michaelchartres the bits are fairly expensive, they are for home build aircraft (experimental in the USA) but a lot cheaper than certified aircraft parts.
As I always say, even a little progress is still progress. I suppose the difference between sealant and glue is that sealant doesn't go off or chemically grip onto parts?
No proper video from me this week. Our 15 year old cat died last Monday night (15th July) and I haven't been in much of a mood for rushing to get a video out to keep a schedule. I've been working on 1:72 scale Hurricane kits though, off and on.
You are right any progress is good. Sorry to hear about the cat, like most pets they become family in a way. Look forward to Hurrican video when you feel like it.
I've clearly been a bit heavy handed with locktite in the past!
@@MattProject you're not the only one, I think probably 75% of people are 😀
