u can also use the lucky item to make lucky happened , and get a lucky bonus to XP after u beat him which gives u double XP if u pick the right yoshi egg
Lucky hammer guarantees lucky shell game for double exp. If you have the Exp. Booster equipped with it you get double Exp from the equip and double from winning the shell game so Yarid gives about 60 Exp on Average. 60 + 60(120+60) would get you 180 Exp. Per battle.
Havent played the remake yet did they keep in the double super star into dying and repeating in? Its in lands end I believe just after the save box. What you do is save with all equips taken off then there is 1 free super star and a bunch of enemies and then that leads you to a guy behind some boxes that you buy a super star from for 400 coins and then kill a bunch more enemies. If you have all your equips removed before you save you just leave one enemy alive at the end to die faster in the battle. This in turn resets you back to the save point with all the exp and coins kept but the super stars reset to be able to repeat. That was always the best and fastest way to gain exp in the original. Also you can level as much as you like much earlier into the game. Hope I explained it right! granted it may not be in the remake lol.
Yeah one thing I liked this game so much about is that this game was soooooo easy. Looks like that’s still the case fo the remake… remaster… or whatever it is 👍
Never understood the general distain/animosity people have towards combat in RPGs or leveling up. Hell, screw the story just give me combat lol (context is great though)
Meanwhile the sewer is an early ultimate death trap for me 😂. Ran out of there like a coward with only 3 experience gained and many items lost. Forgot about grinding in rpgs like this. 😮💨
I think snee ver harder. All my characters level 25 beat final boss and never died only once. But in snes it’s harder bc in that ver you can’t hit more than one enemy at once
This game was created as "baby's first RPG." Nintendo had to include an easy mode... and then re-name it to not offend people who play on easy mode lol.
easy mode is nothing new in Mario RPGs, the past two Mario & Luigi games (Dream Team Bros and Paper Jam Bros) as well as the remakes of Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story all have easy modes that can be turned on and off at any time too just like this game. It has been a mainstay in Mario RPGs for literally a decade now, where have you people been?
@@tessaPMpro including one isnt the problem. forcing you to play a gimped version as the default thats is easier than the original with no hard option... thats the problem.
Uh.... Mario is every game. He's in puzzle game, sports games, sidekick, background games, his own games, 2D games, 3D games, portable iPhone games, RPG, party games, racing games, etc etc... I think it's safe to say it don't matter u thinking he does or doesn't belong in a certain type. 😂 everyone has their preference.
Is the game too hard for you? Well here's a simple trick to make it a piece of cake!
First step, get to the very end of the game...
Tbh most of the difficulty comes from post-game and optional content
@@squid_cakeyeah that’s why I’m here
If the game is too hard before this.... Put down the controller
Skill issue
Tbf. Lvl 19 is high enough to beat the game
You can also use the Lucky Jewel or Lucky Hammer if you want to chance doubling your exp further or coins each time. ^^
Don't forget the lucky hammer!
Honestly though, it feels faster just grinding through than having to play through those mini games. Too much thinking involved tracking Yoshi.
@@Appl_Jax 4x exp to watch an egg for roughly 2 seconds? If it's for the usual 5-10 then I'd agree, but 120 is no joke.
Why is peach looking at me like that?
Peach is so adorable
I did this on my first playthrough of this game waaaay back i didnt even know it was the best way to gain exp
Aahhhhh. This is even better than my shipwreck with the enemy that keeps respawning.
Dry Bones
Why does Mallow looks adorable?
Because he's a frog

Cuter than Doo_liss? I don’t think so.
That’s exactly where I leveled lmao.
Peach looking sus in the thumbnail
You sound so done with life in this
You didn't show my man Geno 💙💙💙💙💙
Geno's animation when he gains a level is my favorite!!
This is exactly what I did. 60 or 120 exp and you are at 30 in no time.
Yeah, this is how I grinded.
u can also use the lucky item to make lucky happened , and get a lucky bonus to XP after u beat him which gives u double XP if u pick the right yoshi egg
sadly it runs out after 10 uses

A sneak peek of the soundtrack behind the series 👀
Ruy would love the Mario and Luigi games. They're like Mario rpg, but more action based combat
I what a Mario RPG game but it's a new one but just put Geno and mellow in it

This is precisely how I did it back in the day, as well :D Was hoping I'd find at least one other person in the comments who did this!
Luigi
I actually found this repeatable fight in the OG version. It was the only way I could beat that final fantasy boss in the mountain wall lol
Me who grinded on the axol rangers instead 👁️_👁️
Sometimes im thankful that UA-cam reads my mind
If you do this after the game completion you get 75 exp instead. Just an FYI
Also use the Lucky stone during battle for a potential double up chance
Now add the lucky hammer or lucky item from moleville and youll cut the time down significantly
This is just before the factory fight, right before the end of the game. So they put it there to give you an easy exp farming spot.
I was already level 39 for mario, peach and mallow when I got to that guy. bowser and geno were 29
I was already lvl 30 at that point, even before the Factory. Then again ive played the original at least 10 times.
Add the lucky hammer and you’re in business 👍
This is like the reaper trick in persona 5 lmao
How do you get that geno weapon?
Hey do they still have the lucky hammer from seaside town in the remake?
Buy the expensive lucky hammer from seaside town. It's weak, but you always get to double your exp or coins from each encounter.
100 jumps is the hardest feat to achieve
I thought shipwreck was fastest. Thanks for the tip Ryu
Fire
Also try using the lucky hammer cause it’ll give you the chance to double that xp
I did this before discovering this video
Cool man😂
I’m so glad they left that in from the original game.
Equip Lucky Hammer on mario and half the time you'll also get double exp on that, and the other half you get double coins.
the exp booster sucks as there is only one of it and it only affects one character at a time. so if i do this. im skipping it
Bingo Bongo
Infinite rock candies?
I am max level, but in the post game bosses I’m only doing 1 to 2 damage

not sure if anyone else noticed but when he ends a sentence it ends in a higher note lol i never heard anyone speak like that!
That's how I'm told I speak.
It makes me think he might be using an AI voice to replicate his own voice, which...
Just no.
Idk about yall but I always made sure to be level 30 for everyone before entering weapon world 😅
YARDOVICH 4 LYF

Might as well start making videos of the gamefaq database the way they are remaking these games.
lol just half an hour but your save block says otherwise. Almost 2hours
Gotta have something to farm if you find yourself underleveled that far into the game.
Anita max level🥺
His name was Yarid, no Yardo
Yari does mean "spear," so it's a shame they changed his name. "Yar-id-o-vich" is much more fun to say.
The characters look so goofy😅
I appreciate the info but I’m just gonna play the game normally.
they're gonna patch this out now. thanks Ryukahr!
It was in the original game. :') I've always farmed exp with this method haha.
yeah no way they patch this, it's legit
The thing falling down like that serves no other purpose. It exists for people to come back and boost XP to fight the boss.
They kinda did... If you do this after beating Smithy you get like 2 EXP tops.
