Bullies got to my granddaughter. And she has a disability. The school lost when I had to put her in home-school. Everyone wants out and will eventually get out so ...schools won't need tax money anymore. There won't be any schools left. They had better address it. I had to call the educational Ombudsman for the state, who finally gave her extra time to make it to class w/ overpronated feet. You would think they could see. Who needs the education?
What was the name of the book that Red and Sonny West wrote together with another fella that I’m so sorry that I can not remember his name? I enjoyed hearing the stories about Elvis from Red and also Sonny, Lamar, Billy Smith, and Marty. The original MEMPHIS Mafia. I was born in 1957 and have DEARLY LOVED ELVIS since I was young girl, and today in my old age I just find out that Red West wrote several songs. To marrow I’m going to Library to hopefully check the book the guys wrote in hopes to help change Elvis into stopping the drugs. Thank U and good nite.
I don’t think they wrote the book to help him l think it was to get back at him for the way that they where sacked as for helping him yes right it did that alright into a early grave it was done out of nastiness
Sorry the comment I just wrote had a spelling error. I wish they had an edit button so you could fix the errors especially doing it on a pone. But instead of writing Elvis I wrote Rivid.
On the subject of the book, which is a very controversial subject. Everyone needs to stop and think, how do you help Elvis? How do you help someone who has a problem, who won't you let you talk to him? Someone who is addicted to something. If someone has an addiction, It does not matter if it is drugs, alcohol, food, sex. Whatever it is. Whatever it is, you cannot help them, not until they realize that they have a problem and then choose to help themselves. Now, what is an intervention? It is a way of getting to someone with a habit, an addiction and humiliating them. Yes. but how do you get Elvis's attention? How do you humiliate him? The answer is the fans. Now Elvis's lawyers called them up and offered any fee that they wanted, any figure to stop the book. Since fans argue that this is about money. Why didn't they take the deal, I mean they could have asked for any figure because Elvis wanted to stop the book from being published. Red and Sonny literally had Elvis and could have milked him just like colonel Tom Parker was doing. So here is the truth, the book was regrettably a failed intervention. You could argue that it made things worse, but who else tried, who else tried to really stop him. I don't know either Red or Sonny West personally but I do respect them For anyone who says I am wrong or that I am stupid, go ahead and feel free, I am not looking for anyone's approval here. Just one thing more, before you think you can say a thing based on how things were, just remember, you are on the outside looking in. You can't know what is in another man's mind or heart.
They wrote the book out of spite. They wanted to hurt Elvis. It was only after Elvis died that Red realised the mistake they'd made. Then they changed their reasoning saying they wrote it to help him. Nasty people, considering what Elvis did for them. Elvis himself did not ask Red to stop the book, he said "You just do what you gotta do". Shame on them.
we all know the true intentions of that book...but tell me, someone can't regret their actions later on? look, you weren't there when red apologized to george...and george even said it took some time for all of them to welcome back red as a friend. sonny never apologized, why aren't you mad about that? @ least red apologized and has kept his distance from that book over the years.
+carolki13 - The fact of the matter is, the book should never have been written in the first place. Apologies or not. Considering what Elvis did for them over the years, it was shameful that they even considered writing this book. This is what started all the other vile books, especially those written by the Stanley family. They were in the wrong and they all have to live with it on their conscience, end of story.
I had no idea that Red wrote some songs that Elvis actually recorded.....I never knew he was musically inclined. It's interesting because Sam Phillips said one time that Elvis, Scotty and Bill couldn't write a song between them. :÷)
I still don't know why you respect Red. Everything Red got came about because of his association with Elvis. He got his acting break with Nick Adams, who was Elvis' friend, Elvis got Red into the movies, Red has given Elvis the credit for making it possible. Just like with the song writing, how do you think he got his foot in the door, thanks again Elvis. He wasn't that of a great song writer anyway, none if his songs broke any records not like Elvis former girlfriend Linda Thompson. So that defeats your argument that it had nothing to do with Elvis. Now why is it you respect Red???????
lupe2067 we shouldn't respect any one from them they used Elvis name and Money , they nothing with out Elvis , and a big lier for all the books they been written
I don't want to see a video or to hear a word by Red West, Sonny West and David Hebler They should only be silent and think of all what they received from Elvis, above all friendship and love, Yes, they were friends too and helped him, but they ruined everything, with a book written only for revenge.

Ruth Jesse Elvis what happened, Dave hebler
Are you insane Ruth Jesse? That book was the ultimate betrayal written out of vindictivness. Backstabbing!
@@sammyandoliver7522 Yes,but its ok that we now all things about Elvis.
I don’t think they wrote the book to help him l think it was to get back at him for the way that they where sacked as for helping him yes right it did that alright into a early grave it was done out of nastiness
RIP RED
Sorry the comment I just wrote had a spelling error. I wish they had an edit button so you could fix the errors especially doing it on a pone. But instead of writing Elvis I wrote Rivid.
Yeah but true friends don't sell you out for money.
Should have written the book two or three years SOONER.
@@jacquelineloveselvis lol like youre so perfect, fuck off you sychopant
Wonder if he kept his guitar till he died?
I had no idea that Red wrote some songs that Elvis actually recorded.....I never knew he was musically inclined. It's interesting because Sam Phillips said one time that Elvis, Scotty and Bill couldn't write a song between them. :÷)
Lol, Red was also in some of his movies.
@@joannemcclure3546
Red was an actor in his own right, he was in several movies not counting Elvis'.
where can I get some of them fine shoes ol Red is sportin
rip red west
I too have so much respect for Red. He is a very talented man. GK is still making a living off Elvis.
So is Red. Why would you have respect for Red what the hell has he done except live off Elvis' memories
He wrote some of Elvis's songs and he was an actor in his own right that had nothing to do with Elvis.
Now why is it you respect Red???????
lupe2067 we shouldn't respect any one from them they used Elvis name and Money , they nothing with out Elvis , and a big lier for all the books they been written
lupe2067 does Red still a life , he smart man but not really honest with Elvis special the last three hers before Elvis death it happened
I don't want to see a video or to hear a word by Red West, Sonny West and David Hebler They should only be silent and think of all what they received from Elvis, above all friendship and love, Yes, they were friends too and helped him, but they ruined everything, with a book written only for revenge.
Wow I’m impressed!
Heard through the grapevine that Red and Lamar liked to get real close to each other, red would threaten anyone who mentioned it.
You sound like a Pervert
That's untrue and, you should not be spreading such lies! Shame on you!
Red West RIP :-((
George Klein RIP :-((
@ElvisIsTheMan
Have you checked this out? Did your know Red West wrote songs for Elvis? A few hits!
Red West wrote successful songs for many other music artists as well, not just Elvis.
Rip Red.
IMHO red west wrote songs that Elvis got to no1 with and Red West also had a good voice wonder how it would have been had he sang them
He did record " If Everyday Was Like Christmas " but, it never done well until Elvis recorded it!
Hmmmm no jealousy there right.
RIP RED 🌹
nice man tried to help his freind
Elvis' deep friends..
West betrayed elvis lets be honest, he sold out with his book panning elvis and sadly elvis never recovered.
this bunch have been sucking the blood out of .E.P. all his life. You all enjoyed his money, fame, girls etc; allowed his pill popping/drug abuse, pimped for him, ruined his marriage and ultimately his life. Congraulations, good 'Ole Southern Boys. Disgusting load of ****s.
Sans oublier Tom Parker..aussi.
🥰🥰🥰😢😢🙏
Sorry but if you loved him so much you wouldn't have wrote that book I don't care what anybody says
Ok thats a bunch of bull you werent there so you have no ideal they were only trying to wake elvis up from his drug addiction you probably should do some more research on red and sonny west and the rest of the group with in before you make a dumb comment like that....
